Let me get started with one of my HOLY GRAILS! I love the quick service and cheap pricing. Over the years they've definitely stepped up their customer service. Best Tacos in the rosenberg area. I'm vegetarian and this is my go to. Unfortunately i cannot rate them 5 stars because there is times i order my tacos and find tiny pieces of meat which causes me to forfeit my whole meal. Chismosa's is on one side of a convenience store and Shell gas station. I hestitated about eating here but it had been highly recommended and the parking lot was full. The dining area is small but efficient. They have 6 4-top tables and 6 bar stools at a counter along the wall for dine in. Most of their business is carry-out and the line was moving incredibly fast. As you enter the menu is located on a chalk board above the counter. They offer Taquitos (2/$1.50), Tacos ($2.15), Breakfast Plates ($6.00 - $6.93), Lunch Plates ($6.93) and Saturday & Sunday serve 16 oz. Menudo for $6.00. I chose to eat in today and continued watching a steady stream of customers come through the door and out quickly. The staff is friendly and with an open kitchen you can watch your order being prepared. I ordered the Ala Mexicana breakfast plate ($6.00) with scrambled eggs and peppers, beans, excellent diced potatoes and 3 tortillas. My Ala Mexicana breakfast was delicious and arrived super fast. Everything is affordable with friendly staff, good food and faster than McDonalds. I'm so glad I listened to the recommendation and stopped in for breakfast. read more

Food here isn't good. I ordered delivery and my guacamole was unsalted and a smaller portion than what they labeled it (2oz). I wouldn't recommend their food if you're looking for good Mexican food. Family owned and ran local business. Been eating their food since their original location off hw6 inside of a gas station. Super friendly staff and good size breakfast tacos. My only complaint is that their hours on google and their own website say open until 9pm, but they aren't. Found out the hard way when we went to get dinner and it was closed. As I was visiting family from Miami, Florida, I stumbled across a gas station which had a long line of people waiting to order their "tacos". The "Monkey See-Monkey Do" kicked in and I ordered a few for myself and the rest of the family. We later visited the actual Chismosas restaurant in Rosemberg and to this day, It has been THE BEST TASTING FRESH MEX FOOD I'VE EVER TASTED. I wish we had one of these here in FLORIDA! I had the barbacoa plate (eggs--scrambled bc I'm pregnant, flour tortillas, potatoes, beans). Hubby had chorizo plate. The chorizo was better than the bland, dry barbacoa. The eggs and tortillas were good. I'm not a mushy bean person so I won't comment on that. Overall, service was fast. The green sauce was pretty good. I'll try the tacos next time. The food is good but what happened to the tortillas? The tortillas are now made out of cheap crumbly thick cheap dough! This is no longer a tortilla. I can't handle that. We have been ordering here for years and they always have my order right, hot, and quick. Their breakfast tacos are good and you really can't go wrong with any of the choices. The tortillas are delicious, both the flour and corn and they don't fall apart while you eat your taco. The barbacoa is always made right, not too greasy or fatty. There was a Chismosa's inside the Chevron station by my old house off a Highway 6. I was thrilled when I took a detour after dropping my daughter found Chismosa in a Shell Gas Station in Rosenberg! I parked so fast and went straight to the counter! The lady at my counter is a multi-tasker, taking a phone order and my order of 8 breakfast tacos at the same time. I was worried she might have messed it up. It took about 10 minutes and quickly brought them home to share with husband and son. These tacos were so good. Fresh, warm flour tortilla...mmmmmm. I've seen this place many time but never went inside because I figured it was in a gas station it might not be good. I was so wrong. Today I was desperate for tacos but didn't want to drive far. So I tried this place out. Tacos are amazing! The sauces are incredible, these tacos didn't stand a chance. I also got the migas plate which was good. The potatoes are so good. I think if you get potatoes in tacos they make the taco even better and they diffidently made the taco and the plate! Will definitely be coming back for more :) read more

Fast, courteous, and always fresh! Love this little joint found in a Shell gas station. The family ran business has a local following and every morning whether in the early morning before heading out to work or on the weekends especially you will find a long line here. The tacos are stuffed with fresh eggs, quality meats such as bacon, ham, barbacoa. You will find a little lady near the stove cracking eggs, sounds of utensils clinging on the skillets, and possibly a person in the back making the tortillas. Tortillas are some of the best...always soft, chewy, and fresh. My wife loves the egg, cheese, and potato. I love the picadillo and the Ala Mexicana with Cheese. Pour in their mild and hot sauce and you've got some of the best breakfast around.... people at my office always stare with envy when I devour these tacos. I've promised to bring them back a dozen this week. Yup. It's that good. That simple. That fresh. I've never had their lunch so I can't speak to that. read more
