Now why is there not a location in Houston proper??? This place is sooo good! To that point when we arrived there was a wait and we had to get a buzzer which took about 10-15 mins to be seated. It was worth it! This restaurant is really cute. Its on the smaller side which also explains the wait. The service is quick and efficient! I I ordered spicy edamame which was interesting it tasted like tomato paste with spices essentially but still good. And kimchi for gut health! The belle of the ball is of course the sushi! They have an array of different sushi and rolls to pick from! I couldn't decided so I ordered 2 different rolls. Interestingly enough they both were served hot. I ordered the Louisiana roll 10/10. And a Mt. Fuji roll they're soo good and a good starter. This place is excellent! If I ever happen to across the world in Rosenberg I will definitely be back!

I love this place! It's tucked in-between the neighborhoods off 59. They have fresh sushi, I've never had a funny tasting fish or roll here! Their menu is interesting so give a few things a try! Spicy boy roll, gyoza, and Spicy Tamen are my go-tos. The staff is always so nice. I frequent this place often haha! I just wish they had WiFi!

We were looking for a ramen place and we enjoyed this place so much! The place is very cute! Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. We went there during their happy hour at lunch and it was great. Food was yummy. Service is average.

Really good quality sushi. The sashimi pieces taste very fresh. I like their lunch specials- price and quality wise. Beats top sushi (which is also in the area) in my opinion. Recommended rolls: Red dragon roll

First time coming here today and it was 10/10! Absolutely loved the ambiance here. The service was great, fasta and friendly! Food was amazing! We got the Spicy Edamame, Bimbimbap Roll, Chicken Skewer ramen with wheat noodle with spicy miso & my husband got the Aji Tonkasu ramen. Definitely stop by and try!

This is a causal restaurant on a strip mall with pretty decor. The menu has standard Japanese restaurant food. I love to have rolls when I am in a Japanese restaurant. So I had their popular Las Vegas roll, and Red Dragon roll. They have the 3 special roll combo sushi special which is a great price. Thus I ordered a Scorpion roll. The rolls were pretty good. The sauces were flavorful. The chicken strips in the chicken katsu were dry but the portion was good. I also got the kids ramen which had flavorful soup. The portion was just nice for two young kids to share or for a big kid. The staff were very friendly and checked in often. Parking lot is small, and there is no designated parking spot for the restaurant. So it would be a challenge during peak hours.

Lots of authentic Japanese fare here. The Tokyo roll was so good. The decor took me back to the days I was living in the wonderland of Tokyo. This is a great spot. You won't regret it.

This place is delicious! We came on a Saturday for dinner and there was a lot of people but no wait. We walked in and were sat immediately. Our server was attentive - we ordered two sushi rolls - crunchy roll & snow mountain, got chicken and steak skewers and the shiitake tempura. 10/10! The only downside was the chicken skewers on the dry/burnt side. The ambiance and decor was super cute and loved the theme! Will definitely be coming back here again to try the other things.

My favorite local sushi spot! The quality of their raw sushi is unbelievable. Highly recommend you try their bulgogi fries as well.

The food was just okay at best. The three stars are for the convenient location, the pleasant cashier, and the clean atmosphere.

All three rolls tasted great and had their own distinct flavor profile. The chicken dish was not my favorite, but came out piping hot, which was perfect! The spicy edamame appetizer I didn't care for very much, as I prefer them to be tossed in a chili oil instead of siracha sauce. Great decor that fits the restaurants vibe, service was friendly and timely, and the food hit the spot. We left feeling very full :)

I tried a few of my wife's sushi, chicken skewers, and some kind of dumplings she ordered, and I had the sizzling bulgogi kimchi plate. My plate came with a salad, which I wish came in a slightly bigger bowl, as it was starting to fall out. The bulgogi kimchi plate was delicious. There was a good amount of beef, and the crispy--possibly garlic or onions on top was a great addition. The amount of food on the plate was just right. I couldn't give it a full 5 stars because the service was only good when the server was actually there. I think there were 2, maybe 3 servers, with the restaurant about 70% full. We took some extra time to order, but it also took a while for someone to come back and take our order. It took a while to get a refill, and there were noticeable delays whenever we needed a server. The sushi had way too much sauce on it. It was overpowering the taste of the fish. Check the pic.

I'm proud that they have servers of this caliber at Asian restaurants in Houston, TX. Usually you see professional servers at upscale restaurants. There was a busboy there towards the end, and even he was super professional. Whoever the manager is at this location, you guys are doing an outstanding job training the staff here. Keep up the good work! 2. Price - about $15/bowl. 3. Ambiance - The decor here is beautiful. There are natural lighting from the front, with wood panels everywhere, lanterns hung high. They did a nice job decorating the place and you definitely feel as if you're in Japan somewhere. 4. Food - This is where this place shines compare to all the ramen places in Houston. They have the option of low sodium broth. I took one sip, and it felt like home cooked Ramen. I'm not talking about instant ramen that you buy from the store, but the ramen made from scratch. I often go to ramen places in Houston and I dread going because I know how salty they taste. There are 2 other locations I have in mind in Houston that are also my favorites. But I would say this is not bad compared to the bowl of ramen I had in Narita, Japan. If you're wondering what I've ordered, it was the CHICKEN RICH RAMEN and make sure to request for low sodium. 5. Cleanliness - Dining area is well kept, clean, and the busboy is on top of things. The restroom is questionable. The personal restroom doors are hard to close and lock. For management, have a look at the restrooms and see if you can improve things. SUMMARY: I would definitely come back. It is just THAT GOOD!

I was so hungry I forgot to get a photo of the initial presentation, but the noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. Other than that, it was pretty lackluster: the soft-boiled egg was hard and one of the grossest eggs I've had, and the chashu was cold. We also ordered some chicken karaage, but that never showed, and our waiter was too busy to stop by so I could tell him. I'm not familiar with the ramen scene in Houston, but Kizuki was a huge letdown, especially with their roots to Japan. ご馳走様でした

Torched with a great smoky flavor, we were told to probably just eat half the rice. Extremely rich but paired well with the light pickled wasabi. The bibimbap and bulgogi roll could not hold up to the first two, so we opted to take them to go. The selection is a bit more limited for lunch, but the price is lower than dinner as well. Being AYCE, I wouldn't expect the highest quality, type, and cut of fish, but what they had was pretty solid, tasted fresh, and was delicious. A minor complaint would be they had no sashimi option, even for the tamago which I personally believe is eaten best without rice, but that's just minor stuff considering the good value here. As much as I try to find a reason not to give this place an outstanding rating, if I compare it to the AYCE category of restaurants, it did everything right. They do have a regular a la carte menu, with a selection that looks like a treat in itself. As for me, I highly enjoyed their jalapeno bomb to start. I highly doubt they used snow crab, tasted like imitation crab, but I enjoyed it nevertheless and got another order at the end. I tried a few nigiri while I was here, with eel being my favorite (and thank goodness for no bones, which was lucky because it's eel). Their tacos were an unexpected standout and is worth a bite or two. Using sheets of nori and frying it to it holds up like a shell is pretty genius and more places need to do this. I had a good time with their Burning Alaska signature maki, which has salmon as the main star. The smokiness from torching was a killer! Their curry reminded me of S&B, which might very well be the mix they used. I was a bit disappointed to not see fish katsu as an option considered it's a sushi place, but I can see the katsu curry selection being a good option as a comfort dish. I wish I had the stomach space to try out new stuff, but maybe next time. Wish someone would post a photo of the salmon skin salad, because I'm a bit curious about that!

It was good, flavorful, and had a nice spice level but it wasn't wowing. My boyfriend and I shared the General Tso's chicken, and that was a 10 out of 10. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. It came with white rice and everything paired really well together. This is the second place I've gone to that has great General Tso's chicken, and that is definitely a compliment. I would absolutely order it again. We also tried the "Honey moon" appetizer which is a stuffed jalapeño. It had crab and cream cheese with eel sauce. The jalapeño was too crunchy for me, my preference is to have it softer but I feel like the flavor wasn't really there. One of the standout appetizers was the beef tongue from the appetizer menu. That was a 10 out of 10. It came with a sauce on top that was really good and brought everything together perfectly. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer as well. The shrimp itself was decent, but the fried coating tasted like the oil wasn't very fresh. It was crunchy, but the flavor of the oil came through, so I'd rate that about a 5 out of 10. We also ordered fried calamari . I'd rate that around a 6 out of 10. It was okay, but when you bit into it, the octopus would slide out and leave you mostly with the fried outer crust, and the crust itself wasn't that flavorful. The ambiance was beautiful, very clean, modern, and nicely designed. It felt comfortable and well put together. Service was fine, nothing that stands out.
