We are from Southern California and have been craving some good Mexican cuisine. This place comes pretty close. A cpl tweaks and you'll have a real winner. 1. Steak tacos. Great flavor but steak is too chewy. For a proper carne asada you're better off chopping up the steak and marinating it more and cooking it less but searing it at a high temp so it's more tender. But still love the cheese touch and flavor is great. 2. Beef tacos. Again great flavor. Just a little too saucy. Dial back the sauce a bit and make them a touch less wet and you're golden. 3. Chicken. Great! Chicken could be a little more tender and less dry but these were solid. Fish ones are brilliant! Would be amazing to offer a grilled version for those gluten free / celiac folks The sides were brilliant. Rice was awesome. The service felt a little off the night we visited only because there was a mix-up in who was supposed to be serving our table, but once our order was in the food came quickly and the bill was easy to pay.
