What a disgrace me and my business mates were to eat here. We come all the way from the states…read more(New York and California) and we ate at Chili's. That is pretty sad. Why, you ask? Well, after a week of English pub food (meat, potatoes, meat, more potatoes, warm beer, mayonnaise, bland veggies), we craved a cheese burger, seasoned fries and a soda with ice in it. I am conflicted as to whether or not to give 2 or 3 stars. The food was slightly below average Chili's fare, and the service was decent, no better or worse than Chili's in the US. But, when you are traveling abroad and want a taste of home (including the UK expats that have spent 10+ yrs in the US), sometimes places like Chili's and the Hard Rock Cafe are a beacon of light in the dark. These places give that taste of home that make that grueling international business trips that much more bearable.

The menu is varied with mexican themes but also a touch of american diner creeping through. The service is friendly and there's always a good atmosphere and it well located next to the grafton centre. The only flaw is that the decor seems a little dated and there is a little confusion over whether this is really an american diner or a mexican. The prices too can be a little high but the portions are huge so who's complaining.

I'm sorry but Las Iguanas is just not it. As an American, it did not offer familiar Mexican flavors…read morethat I was searching for. Unfortunately, the margaritas were made from such a sweet mix that it honestly tasted cheap. I doubt we would return as it just fell flat. Service was ok, my fajitas were dry and just lacked flavor. I think I just expected something so great and was left disappointed. Probably won't return.

It had ample outdoor sitting where you could appreciate the scenery of nearby colleges. Upon entering the inside dining area, I enjoyed the colorful ambiance and centered bar. The entire place was well lit with plenty of sitting. The menu offered many choices to please anyone seeking something slightly different. The cuisine has influences from Spain to South America. For my lunch experience, I sample the lamb albodigas (meat balls), empanadas, focaccia bread with dipping sauces and nachos with guacamole. We were served by Gloria, who was an amazing server. She was funny, friendly and helpful. She made my kids (ages 4-7) feel at ease and welcomed. After my lunch experience, I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with kids. The place was clean and welcoming. It's menu is kid friendly. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Doesn't appear that this fine pub has any recent reviews - not to be overlooked though!…read more We looked around for something spicy on our recent visit to Cambridge (and had Indian the night prior), and The Wrestlers came up. Fairly buddy on a Thursday night but the bar host seated us. The menu has the usual curries and noodle dishes; order at the bar. Portions are generous, flavorful, and showed up quickly. A variety of drafts, wine, and soft drinks to complete the meal. A little noisy but manageable; enjoy!

The Wrestlers, where British pub atmosphere and Thai cuisine come together in Cambridge…read more It's located along a busy stretch of Newmarket Road, walkable by 20 minutes from the main part of town or accessible via car park near the superstore. The building itself functioned as a public house as early as the 1800s, but has since been updated in furnishings and food fare--Thai, to be exact. With the exception of pub Prawn Crackers, there are no starters, just mains. Straightforward and no frills. Find your seat, order at the bar. Each plate will cost between £9 and £11. We both got Pud Thai; one with vegetables and cashews and the other with beef. The portions are large and I had to pack the rest of mine in a takeaway box. As it's a pub, prepare for noise and difficulty finding seats around dinnertime. Luckily we came earlier for lunch. I didn't order a drink this time, but they have the standard selection of cask ales and cidres to go with your meals.
