The outdoor seating is super chic and welcoming. There are picnic benches, tables, a nice little patio seating area with a single-seater swing and a fireplace. When you enter, you're met with color, decor and flowers (albeit artificial) which scream women-run and cozy. We sat inside because of the possibility of rain. The tables are fairly close to each other so once other parties were seated, it was definitely tight and of course, you could hear all conversations around you. We got the Butter Beer, the Broadway Board and the Bruschetta (all 5). We were extremely disappointed to know that they did not diet soda. For someone with a medical condition that cannot have regular soda, to be told that there is NO option for diet is deeply disappointing. Any way, the butter beer was not good. I've had Butter Beer at the Universal Harry Potter restaurants and it's butter-scotchy, smooth and very refreshing. This was just jarring. Lots of carbonation that just hits you straight. The alcohol was also really sharp and the butter scotch just didn't sit right. I had cried when I had the Universal Butter Beer because that is exactly what I thought it would. This one was nowhere close. I would stay away. The food was a whole other story. Everything on that table was freaking delicious. The bruschetta was AMAZING. In order of most to least favorite - salami and pesto, hummus and cucumber, regular bruschetta, chili and cream cheese and then the bell peppers. That plate is pretty filling by itself. The balsamic they use is perfect. Definitely get all 5 but if not 5, get the 4 without the bell peppers. The board was HUGE. It says that it is for 2-3 people. It's more like 4-5. Lots of cheese and meat options, olives, crackers, tex mex and grapes. Amongst the cheese, there was one which was really spicy. That was our favorite. Amongst the meats, we loved the one with peppers. The combo of the dip and jam was delicious too. It was too much to finish, obviously. We took things home. For a wine bar, they have a decent choice of wines but nothing spectacular. All in all, this is a chic restaurant that you would come to, to destress among cute things. We shall be back to try the flat breads.

It was pretty magical since it was absolutely adorable in there. There were two staff members who were so cool. One (of course I don't remember the name because I'm the WORST with names) was so friendly and talked to us for a while. They made some recommendations, chatted for a little, and really made out short time there really lovely. 100% will be back for dessert and a glass of wine.

It pains me to write this review, as the Upstairs Wine Bar has been our regular spot for years -…read moreafter we stumbled upon it like some best-kept secret. Discovering new wines, great breads and charcuterie - with an atmosphere that gave the impression of Italian getaway, the Upstairs Wine Bar was, in a word, "special." Sitting by the warm fire, with classical music or Spanish Guitar filling the air, it was easy to see the owner's vision and it was well-executed. But that was before. This is now (our last three visits over the past 2 months): Loud club music banging. The hearth has gone cold. Missing art work draws attention to empty wall space. But these regressions are downright innocent compared to the service. I have only experienced a single individual working as a server during the past few visits, with another individual working behind the counter. Neither possesses any knowledge of the menu and (our server in particular) had clearly never been trained in wine service or service in general. No pours, just slaps the bottle down with two glasses and asks if we want anything else. But I need to backtrack, we first ask him about the wines, he can't answer a single question, to the point that we aren't even certain he's looked at the menu or even tasted the offerings. His manner is loose and unprofessional, brazen. He is dressed like The Crow, with his belly exposed, ready for a rave. This was consistent during all our visits. However, let me be clear, I don't care how anyone dresses in public, period. I don't care what gender you are or what gender you are attracted to. I don't judge unless I'm paying and wine service commands some degree of formality or at least basic etiquette, education of the menu notwithstanding. These qualities weren't discernable at the most basic level and did not improve with subsequent visits. However, there is one piece of knowledge our server was able to render: the lack of availability for many menu items, which would be the theme over our most recent visits. When we finally receive the meat and cheese plate, the prosciutto has been butchered and carved off in thick strips. We made it clear we DID NOT want one particular meat, which - of course - was one of the three on the plate, as the server either had no idea which one was which or simply forgot in the few seconds it took walk from our table to the kitchen. Finally, only ONE cheese was available of the 3 options, and this supply issue was given no explanation, but remained a problem during for our last three visits. Just to be transparent, it's about $100 for the two of us to enjoy a bottle of wine and small plate, so it's not exactly cheap - but this was a small price to pay for the atmosphere that has long since evaporated. What's replaced it has no business calling itself a wine bar. Sadly, we won't be returning - at least for some time - with the hopes that it can regain its standards. We eagerly await that reunion!

So we did go to use that (although or waitress didn't read it I don't think because she only gave us one free glass of wine when it said per person). But that's not a problem! We were grateful nonetheless! So yes, we did go to happy hour. This board was really nice, but they never said what each item on the board was. So I have no clue what the meats and cheeses are. For a place that says they are known for boards, you'd think they'd share what is on our board. I think the value is alright for what you get! But I would say that there are other places around (Cork and Cask) that have a better value for your buck! This is still a gorgeous presentation and it's a good chill vibe at this spot. The wine was good. But I don't know if I'd come back unless I had another coupon I fear.... And the service was not great even though the place wasn't super packed. Sad because I hoped I would've liked this place better but maybe I'll come for dinner!

The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. We started with their signature crab cake, which was thin, nicely cooked, and drizzled with a flavorful bistro sauce. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value. Overall, a welcoming neighborhood restaurant downtown Pueblo with great seafood and a relaxed atmosphere.

There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick. House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich. Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-) It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT! This is a great little spot. Try it!
