This year, I only reserved a snow cone machine. He said to text me the details and he'd call me later to get my credit card number. I did this, but he didn't call, so I called him and left a message. Then I texted him. Finally, the day before the party he finally answered the phone and tells me he has already rented the snow cone machine because I hadn't left a deposit. This is nuts, because I couldn't get a hold of him to give him the number! Even so, I was confident that since I had reserved it he could just get the number when I finally reached him. Nope. He rented it to someone else, maybe because they had a bigger order, I don't know. But he was leaving my son without his snow cone machine for his birthday party at the last minute. I imagined my son crying about it and it may me cry. I told him this was really unfair and I was taking him off my list. Do you know what he said? "I'm fine with that!" What? Really? Losing great regular customers is FINE with you? For the record, I am not one of those wacky customers that a business looks to get rid of. I am a pretty mild-mannered person that gets along with anyone. I hung up on him. I find that cell phones don't hang up on people very satisfyingly. It was suggested to me that I leave feedback here to help me feel better. So I did. I hope you consider someone else for your party rental needs. This guy is apparently unreliable. For those interested in how my saga turned out: Someone suggested I call Quality Rental in North Providence where I luckily found that they had one snow cone machine left and I went out after it. So my son never knew the difference.

I again rented a tent from Don. The men who came to set it up were professional and excellent. I had a drawing of where all the tables and chairs went and they set it up perfectly. On Saturday morning when I went to set the tables, I realized 5 out of 13 of the 36" round tables were actually 30" rounds. It may seem like it's not a big deal, but 5 chargers fit on a 36" round, as opposed to 3 on a 30" round. I called Don who told me that they interchange them, meaning you might get 36" or you might get 30". If I order 36", I expect 36". He should have told me right from the start. I needed 36". I didn't need to find this out on the moring of my daughter's wedding when I was most stressed. If he had apologized it would have been one thing, but he rudely told me it is what it is and he couldn't help me, and hung up!, which left me scrambling to find more tables elsewhere when I had 1000 other things to do. I think it was handled in a very unprofessional way. I will not be using them again. That's not the way to treat repeat customers!
