I have had the great pleasure of working at the Meeting House numerous times throughout the past few years, photographing weddings on the property. The venue is incredibly unique and beautiful, with its expansive green lawn great for ceremonies, lawn games, and photographs. Also the simple yet elegant exposed beam design inside the building has so much character yet leaves room for couples to add to the space to integrate their own personal style into their wedding day. The weddings I have been able to photograph here seem to all have a comfortable relaxed atmosphere as couples and their wedding guests feel immediately at home at the Meeting House. The Meeting House staff is always pleasant and eager to help both vendors navigate throughout the space as well as couples to ensure the day runs soothly and effortlessly on the newlyweds part. I am eager to work here again in the 2015 wedding season. The photography opportunities are endless with the Meeting House being surrounded by the historic village of Tiverton Four Corners and all the historic buildings and beautiful stone walls throughout the area.

We wanted the tent in case of bad weather, and since we had rain on and off the day-of (that's good luck right?!), we had the entire ceremony under the tent and it looked beautiful. If we didn't have Chase Canopy the day of our wedding, we wouldn't have been able to have the outdoor, oceanfront ceremony of our dreams.

You just don't know how to KEEP the reservation" ~ Seinfeld…read more I've been a regular customer of Jam Rentals, renting large inflatables and snack machines for my son's birthday party every year. This year, I only reserved a snow cone machine. He said to text me the details and he'd call me later to get my credit card number. I did this, but he didn't call, so I called him and left a message. Then I texted him. Finally, the day before the party he finally answered the phone and tells me he has already rented the snow cone machine because I hadn't left a deposit. This is nuts, because I couldn't get a hold of him to give him the number! Even so, I was confident that since I had reserved it he could just get the number when I finally reached him. Nope. He rented it to someone else, maybe because they had a bigger order, I don't know. But he was leaving my son without his snow cone machine for his birthday party at the last minute. I imagined my son crying about it and it may me cry. I told him this was really unfair and I was taking him off my list. Do you know what he said? "I'm fine with that!" What? Really? Losing great regular customers is FINE with you? For the record, I am not one of those wacky customers that a business looks to get rid of. I am a pretty mild-mannered person that gets along with anyone. I hung up on him. I find that cell phones don't hang up on people very satisfyingly. It was suggested to me that I leave feedback here to help me feel better. So I did. I hope you consider someone else for your party rental needs. This guy is apparently unreliable. For those interested in how my saga turned out: Someone suggested I call Quality Rental in North Providence where I luckily found that they had one snow cone machine left and I went out after it. So my son never knew the difference.

Referring to me as "dude" in a very sarcastic/immature tone, calling his staff endless names and threating their jobs during set up AND break down (things that were so rude and vulgar that I won't repeat), to making comments about how WE set up the tent and lights for OUR wedding. Not our fault you brought us the oldest, crappiest Christmas lights around and wooden chairs that were ALL busted, tables that barely stood on their own. We would use this company again merely for the price, but not as long as George is running the show. The entire process was easy from from booking the inflatables, to delivering them and setting them up, and then coming back to clean them and pack them away. It is clear that Kevin and his young helpers give more than 100% to their work, and they do it with genuine smiles. I rented the 22 ft water slide, the wrecking ball interactive inflatable, 3 tables, and 18 chairs for my son's high school graduation party. Kevin threw in an extra cornhole game for us at no charge. Everything was exceptionally clean and in perfect condition. The waterslide and wrecking ball interactive inflatable were huge hits! We had little kids, teenagers, and adults using both of these inflatables (observing the weight limit and occupant capacity of course). It's been a couple of days since the party, and I have had several friends reach out to say how much fun they had. Coordinating a backyard party with over 100 people in attendance was a daunting task. Having these inflatables kept everyone busy and happy!!! Before booking Your Favorite Inflatables, I carefully researched available options in Rhode Island. This company stood out among the rest as reputable, professional, and reliable. I'm so happy I chose to rent from them. Thank you Kevin (and team) for providing clean inflatables, sturdy chairs, and large tables at such reasonable prices!

The woman who worked with us during the appointment was really friendly, not pushy at all, and had some great suggestions after I told her what I was looking for. My biggest problem is the setup they have with Blackstone Caterers (who I do love). When you go they won't tell you any pricing! So you aren't sure if the linen you are picking out is in your budget or not. Basically you fall in love with a linen and then find the price out about a week later when Blackstone emails you. Then, which of course I figured this would happen, the linen price is a little higher than you wanted to spend, but you have also already feel in love with said linen. Sigh, #brideproblems! I do wish they had a few more napkin options in the color I was looking for. I wanted a true blush pink and they only had a bubble gum pink and more of a mauve. Not sure if the blush wasn't a popular color, but I find that hard to believe. Once you have selected what you think you will go with, they very nicely put together a little swatch card so you can have everything you picked in one spot. If you are ridiculously obsessed with every wedding detail like I am this is perfect since you can occasionally (or say at least once a week) glance back at the card to make sure you are happy with all the materials and colors. If you have a huge budget you can really go big here! They had beautiful charger plates for example, but for $7 per plate (that is right per plate) for something that people don't even eat off of there is no way I could justify that one. But if you have money to burn they have some beautiful ways for you to do it.
