I was skeptical about this location after seeing all the negative reviews, but it was close to the gym and we needed lunch after our work out. So, we decided to give it a try! They weren't very busy. The inside was clean and all of the tables were available. There were a few people taking advantage of the outdoor seating. It took a minute for someone to come over and start our order, but once he did, everything ran smoothly. The employee was personable and made small talk. They had all of the ingredients/toppings on hand including the vinaigrette. We both got bowls, one with double chicken and the other with half chicken and half carne asada. I've been a fan of Chipotle for years, was excited when this location opened close to home. The first order I placed was for a drive thru one that took well over an hour in line and I understood it is a new location and so I figured I would give the place another shot. Unfortunately after being open for some time now this restaurant really seems to have a lack of leadership and pride. You'll catch one or two friendly enough people working here but the organization and structure are totally lacking. This is probably why your staff seems miserable. No one is working together and they are out of multiple ingredients by noon ? This place needs someone to steer the ship and get people moving. As for the food itself you can obviously tell that most ingredients are not fresh at all. This location needs some real help and I won't be coming back. read more

Omg, I'm so furious! This place can't get their act together. Open until 10, intentionally got there at 8:30 in hopes of getting an order and this time half their offerings are gone again. This is the 9th time out of at least half the ingredients. They probably have the stuff but this location has horrendous employees and is lazy so they won't even bother making more food. I ONLY see this in weirton and frequently go to numerous other locations when I travel . Only location within 20 miles of weirton WV so I guess they can be as repulsive, vial, nasty employees as they want to be with the public. I consider lazy as repulsive behavior when it means they have the means to replenish the offerings but would rather screw around behind the serving line. Being out of food once in a great while is ok. Or having one bad day at the store with maybe an unkind person working the counter, is ok. It happens and I understand. But this place is 100 percent out of control. Doesn't the franchise owner care? I've contacted the comment line and offer of a free drink is repugnant. At any rate, the people are nice, and portions fair sized. The only negative I would say is that in the 5-6 times I have been there, the tables and trash could be better attended to. Many of the ingredients were missing and it was pretty chaotic. The restaurant - tables, counters, drink area were all dirty. This chipotle was out of everything. No white rice, no lettuce, no cheese, no steak, no chicken, no lemonade in the containers and no forks or lids. Line is out the door and no signal to customers that after they stood in line for 25 minutes, they are out if everything you want. I walked out (as did others). We are chipotle fans and we have given this location many chances but they are consistently providing slow and not so friendly service. This evening we had a mobile order scheduled for 8:40. Knowing they are always 20 minutes late, we arrived at 8;55 and the staff members told us we were waiting in cheese and then our order would be ready. We watched and waited for 20 minutes before I walked back up to the counter and asked where our order was. They told me they were still waiting on the cheese. The employee in charge of shredding cheese asked how to put the machine together. We had waited for 20 minutes for this cheese, and they did not know how to use the shredder. Then, before the cheese was on our burrito they told us the order was waiting and ready this whole time. We took our bag and started to leave and then they realized we were missing a burrito. It was a little after 8 PM. They were open until 11. I asked for brown rice with no cilantro. They told me they did not have that. Which in fact I get it all the time. I asked for rice chicken and cheese. They were out of cheese. I made a comment about the lack of available items. Immediately the one worker began telling me not to be rude they were short staffed. The business opened too early. Staff was not trained on how to make the food, control inventory, or how to treat the costumers. I asked for white rice and the woman gave me one table spoon of rice. Out of cheese OR chicken. The meat was WAY over seasoned. They were also not taking online orders when I called. However, when I was in store, there was food on the take out area, which the woman refused to grab the chicken from there, instead she said they weren't allowed and left everyone with no cheese, chicken. Also, when I was in line, the lady in front of me asked for pork and the employee instead responded "Oh honey, you don't want that, it's been sitting there all day, I'm not giving that to you". Prior to that, she refused to prepare what the lady wanted because she did not know how to prepare and said "I'm just going to prepare the bowls, I don't care, I leave at 4:30pm". Meanwhile there was about 30 people in line, their excuse for not having cheese was "we are short staffed". But an employee had time to make HERSELF a burrito so she could leave. Poor management, poor professionalism, poor training. This place need people that actually can work at a chipotle. I expressed that I wanted chicken, they did not care. I had to get half chicken and a little bit of the steak, and ended up getting charged for double meat. Hopefully I won't get food poising from this place.
