1-Star Review -- This was one of the WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCES I have had in Naperville…read more This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in Naperville. It is not the first time I have had a similar experience at a Mexican restaurant in Naperville. This is now the fourth Mexican restaurant in the area where I have experienced problems with my order and poor customer service. Yesterday, I ordered a veggie burrito and a cup of elote. Before placing my order, I specifically asked what vegetables came on the burrito. I was told spinach, tomatoes, grilled onions, and rice. I then asked if they could add green bell peppers, raw onions, and cilantro. I was told there would be an additional $1.75 charge, and I agreed. Because I wanted to make sure my order was correct, I actually called back a second time before leaving my home and asked again what vegetables were included. Instead of simply answering my question, the employee responded in a rude and irritated manner, telling me, "Ma'am, you already asked me that." I explained that I just wanted to make sure everything was correct, and she confirmed the additional vegetables. When I got home and opened the burrito, it was extremely disappointing. There was mostly rice and spinach, with only a few pieces of bell pepper. The green bell peppers, onions, and cilantro I specifically requested--and paid extra for--were not there. The burrito was also very small considering the price. The elote was also incorrect. I specifically requested cheese, mayo, and the chili seasoning. Instead, it had some type of green onion or other ingredient that I did not request, and the taste was horrible. The food was terrible. The burrito was mostly rice and spinach, and the flavor was awful. The elote was also incorrect and tasted horrible. The total was approximately $24 for a small veggie burrito and a cup of elote, which I consider very expensive considering the quality, portion size, and the fact that my order was not prepared as requested. I then called and asked to speak with the manager because I wanted to explain what happened and give the restaurant an opportunity to address it. Unfortunately, the manager was extremely rude, dismissive, argumentative, and would not allow me to finish explaining the problem. She repeatedly interrupted me with "No, no, no" and insisted that the order was correct because she had been there and watched the peppers being prepared. That was not the issue. I was explaining that the ingredients I specifically requested were missing from MY burrito. Instead of listening to the customer and trying to resolve the situation, she argued with me and ultimately told me she didn't care when I said I would report the experience and leave a review. She then hung up on me. I am not someone who expects perfection, but I do expect a restaurant to prepare what I ordered, especially when I specifically confirmed the ingredients twice and paid an additional charge for them. More importantly, when a customer calls with a legitimate concern, the manager should listen and attempt to resolve the issue--not argue with the customer, dismiss the complaint, and hang up. The food was beyond disgusting, the order was incorrect, the price was excessive for what I received, and the customer service from management was unacceptable. One star because I cannot give zero. The food was disgusting, the order was incorrect, the price was excessive for what I received, and the customer service from management was unacceptable. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Regardless of anyone's background, every paying customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Forget the food (even though it's yummy) but the staff is my favorite part about this place. I walk in there and no matter who is working I'm either greeted with a smile and warm welcoming or by name! I work right across the street and they have become quite familiar with my company and offer us employee appreciation days where we can buy one entree and get the next free. I walked in there today and three new people were helping me, they may have been knew but still knew what they were doing. The girl with awesome orange hair (didn't catch her name) even gave me an awesome compliment. Some of the prior comments are a little uncalled for. Chipotle cannot control how small their dining area is but they make up for it with a good size outdoor dining area and several seating options. They also cannot tell their customers children how to act when in store or they could face serious reprimand. If you're going into a family friendly business please expect there to be families trying to enjoy themselves as well and if you have a problem with the way the members of said family are acting then please don't blame the employees for not saying anything, blame yourself. If any person is destructive to the restaurant or another guests' experience then the employee can get involved. Kids will be kids, you won't know unless you have them, and it's not the employees fault for the parental mistakes. read more

I'm a large burrito kind of guy and Chipotle has never let me down. My usual: a steak burrito no lettuce with extra cheese instead. For the first time at a Chipotle store I was charged almost a dollar for the extra cheese, even though it is not listed on the board as an up charge. When I asked about this, they said the charge was instituted a couple of months ago. I have been to other Chipotle stores in the western suburbs within the past couple of months and never been charged this additional fee, so I was a little upset by this. As a resident of Warrenville, I would prefer to spend my hard earned dollars in local businesses, but with enough other Chipotle stores in the area, I don't think I will be going back to this pricey cheese Chipotle again. read more

Went there with a friend the first time about a year ago. We both ordered a steak burrito. She likes everything on hers but I am a picky eater so I only get lettuce and cheese on mine. Hers was a good size because of all the toppings, but mine was the size of a small taco. I have been to two other locations and they all make them the same way. I would have to order 3 burritos the way I like them to equal one regular size one because I don't like all the toppings. I go to El Burrito Mexicano in Lisle and I get a full size burrito. Since I only like cheese and lettuce, they add more meat and cheese. I will never go to a chipotle again. If you are a picky eater like me, go to El Burrito Mexicano in Lisle, you get more for your money every time !!!!! read more

This chipotle is super fast and friendly, the employees are always glad to help and always have a smile on their faces. We have come here as a company for over 7 years, and we refuse to go to any other chipotle. If there ever is an issue, its corrected without incident. Go to this location anytime between 11-1 and you will be hard pressed to find a close parking spot, because everyone who is anyone eats at this chipotle, and for good reason. I dont normally post reviews, but it seems there is some sort of smear campaign going on because I have personally eaten at this chipotle over 100 times and Ive NEVER EVER had a bad experience. read more
