Me and my friends came here for a night out and some dinner, and somehow Chipotle managed to turn ordering a burrito into a full-blown survival challenge. The SECOND we walked in, we were told they were out of numerous food options. At this point, I'm not sure what they were actually selling besides disappointment. The place was an absolute disaster--messy, chaotic, and looking like nobody had been in charge since the Obama administration. The entire operation had the energy of a family reunion that got completely out of hand. We came hungry and left irritated. If you're going to advertise yourself as a restaurant, maybe try having food, cleanliness, and basic organization at the same time. Absolutely embarrassing. I've seen better-run operations at a gas station at 2 AM. read more

This place is extraordinarily dirty and morale feels very low. 3:40pm Sunday afternoon the restaurant is empty. there is not one single clean table, the floors are littered, the utensil/soda machine area is a brutal mess. Gentleman at the cash register is on his cell phone. I had to wipe down a table for our family using wet napkins. We ordered two burritos, one taco plate, two quesadillas. Food area is big mess. No smiles. Beans were dry and not fully cooked. The vibe here is just really bleh. read more

Aside from the horrible parking lot this is located in, I don't have anything else remotely negative to say regarding this location. Whether l've picked up from them or whether I've eaten in house, I find their burrito bowls to be plentiful. Or at the very least they're not skimping out on portions like others of this chain. That being said, it is Chipotle. Don't expect gourmet; expect a fast food meal with the option of customizing it to be as healthy or gluttony-inducing as you wish. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Burrito bowl and sparkling water. - Mexican Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Brought my daughters with me because they've never eaten here before. We ordered 2 bowls and 1 burrito. They were of good size and seemed fresh. I wish there was more protein. I felt like I was eating a lot of cold stuff like pico, sour cream and guacamole. I would have liked more chicken. When asking the employees about the toppings, they didn't seem real confident about what they were serving. They had white shredded cheese and 1 employee thought it was provolone. The other 2 shrugged their shoulders. None of them seemed very happy to be there. The restaurant looked in disrepair. You could tell when you walked in the door that the wall looked like plywood with cutouts. The 3 trash cans by the door were all overflowing. It was 2pm and they still had a long line to order food. I'm not sure how much of their responsibility lies with the outdoor seating, but there was trash everywhere. We will not return to this location. read more

This place is so dirty there's no way it would pass a health inspection. Every single table was dirty, the food prep area was disgusting. The entire kitchen area littered in food scraps, old chips, and other items spilled all over. Trash cans are all over flowing, even the sweep bucket was full. read more

Food was excellent, service was great until we got to the cashier she started cussing the other workers out with a pissy mood. This isn't a review from one visit, but a result of many visits over the past few years. Pre-Covid, Chipotle was great. Large portions, fresh ingredients, employees that seemed to like their jobs, a product that paired well with the higher prices paid there. It hasn't been like this for a long time. Product quality is erratic, there is a lack of consistently in portions and flavor. I've spoken to management. I've called corporate. I decline coupons, I just want to be heard. I want to like this place! This past two visits (within a month of each other) was it for me. I walked in to the Resy tiara y saying there was no guacamole and no fajita veggies - fine, but when the person in front of me got the last burrito, I was left with nothing I wanted to order. The restaurant was a mess too, especially the kitchen. Last time, my son received a burrito that was about the size of a baseball and my wife and daughter's bowls were half full. Thankfully I didn't order! I don't give one-star reviews lightly. I hate to give them. Looking at all the reviews for this chain in Tallahassee, I see I'm not the only one. Too much effort in providing feedback that has fallen on deaf ears and too much money spent has left me with the conclusion that I won't be coming back here. read more

Terrible customer service. Staff was mumbling and one guy put guacamole on my bowl when I said corn 4 times. Wouldn't look me in the eye and was super messy. Serving Cold food right out of the freezer bags. I hated my experience and never wish to attend again. DO BETTER! Show pride in your work please. read more

This particular Chipotle is located in a shopping mall not far off of Interstate 10 located in a shopping plaza so parking is pretty good. I have always been a big fan of Chipotle, but have seen a slip in their quality in recent times. I wish I could say that my visit to this location changed my mind. Sadly, this visit just reaffirmed that Chipotle has bern on a steady downward spiral. I was interested in trying their new cauliflower rice.i chose that as my rice and found out when looking at my receipt that they charge a $2.00 upcharhe if you choose cauliflower rice over either their white or brown rice. Service was not the best and lacked any friendliness. I had the impression that the employees here cared for nothing more than the click to say it is time to go home. It is a shame to see Chipotle to continue to slip into a shell of their former glory. I used to eat here regularly, but it has probably been a month or better since I dined at one. This trip just reminded me of why I don't eat here very much anymore. read more

The employees are being treated so unfairly and underpaid in general. they don't care about the quality of the work environment therefore they reflect that in their food. the field leader who runs all the chipotles in town is named Destiny Davis and she is an awful leader. does not take account of any of her mistakes and makes the employees deal with all the backlash of the crazy situations that happen with unruly customers. at the end of the day, be kind to the people that help ur business stand. if u want better productivity, maybe make sure ur compensating ur workers. I am a relatively bland person, and I frequently eat at sucheros. I've heard that chipotle is good and I came here and got the exact same order I get at sucheros and by far this is way more bland and tasteless. The service was subpar as well from an Asian check out lady when she slammed down the cups we asked for like she was mad. The ambiance is fine with music and tables and such but still bland, lighting is bad as well. read more

This was the worst chipotle I have ever eaten at. We just happened to stop at this location on a road trip we were on but it was no a good experience. The place was filthy. We had to clean our own table just to be able to eat our food. The service was okay but I don't understand why the place was so dirty because they had plenty of workers and it was not at all busy. read more

I eat chipotle at least once a week. At this location, a scoop of chicken was literally 4 pieces, the next employee added some more and it still didn't equal one scoop. When I asked to be given a regular serving amount of chicken, they asked if I wanted double chicken. And no, I just wanted the normal serving. Their customer service needs to be so much better. I'll be going back to the Apalachee location, much nicer over there. read more

When you have 20 minutes break between the meeting and driving towards the meeting, Chipotle make a good choice for fast food especially on the Interstate I-10. The restaurant just a few minutes off the highway. It make good food break and bathroom break for Interstate traveler. Chipotle offer meat and vegetarian choice. The have grilled chickens, steak, babarcoa, and more. Choice from burritos, bowl or salad plate. A healthy choice of ingredients include corn, lettuce, guacamole, salsa, black bean, brown rice, and white rice. This mixed in the bowl make this wonderful to eat. This is something quick with your choice of ingredients. The experience is good. It always great to have friends with vegetarian diet can have the food here. You can spicy the bowl with hot spicy salsa. read more

idc What these other people are talking about. We drove 15 minutes out of our way to avoid having to order on an app and I'm glad we drove this extra distance. This is hands down the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. Always one angry employee running the entire line. Gets upset with the customer when they mess up an order. Always out of ingredients and extremely small portions. Obviously because they're always out of ingredients. I don't know why I continue to torture myself. Right next to the gym so it's convenient. Never again at this location!!! I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

One star is a gift for this place. How are you out of almost everything at 6pm on a Thursday. People working here are so happy to tell you "oh no we are out of that" smiling ear to ear in fact the only time they smiled. No ice no lids no straws no stems no seeds. I would literally rather drive 20 minutes out of my way then go to this location. The service is terrible every single time I go they always have the same girl working the front of the line. Move her to the back for God sakes. She has the WORST attitude every. single. time. First time I brushed it off as having a bad day, we all have those but this girl has a straight up attitude problem & should avoid working customer service jobs at all cost. She can't even attempt to fake being nice which isn't even that hard... She's disrespectful for absolutely no reason, I watched her continuously roll her eyes & smug at customers before and after me. She finds doing her job inconvenient for her & she's not afraid to show it. Find a different job if you act like this seriously she seems so miserable there. read more

Food: The flavors were good and the ingredients were fresh as always. A little salty. Service: Fast Ambiance: Awful. Those silver tins were stacked up in the back, the seats were dirty, the tables were not clean, there was food all over the stainless steel counter where they make the food, and there were no napkins out for customer use. I have come here multiple times, and I love Chipotle. However, it is always in this dirty state. Don't look at the rags when they are wiping the table. Also, the lids didn't fit on the container. This particular Chipotle is clean, efficient, and the employees have a nice demeanor. If you have never had Chipotle they offer a mix of meats and other veggie options that can be placed in a bowl atop rice or lettuce, wrapped in a burrito, or sprinkled on nachos or a quesadilla. Sadly on this day they were out of guacamole. While I love Chipotle's guac, I love Moe's queso and chips far more than this restaurant. All in all, I will return, and hopefully there will be guac. read more

One of the worst Chipotles I've ever been to. I've never seen more than one person working the restaurant line. They are always, and I mean always, out of something. I'm a little confused why this location has such bad reviews. It's by far the shortest line in Tallahassee. Sure, sometimes people give smaller portions, but I've had that issue at every Chipotle. If you want the most bang for your buck, try the Chipotle hacks. I enjoy this Chipotle a lot. Typically only a few people in line ahead of me, I've always had great service, and the people are friendly. I typically go double meat and it's always been plenty. With it being by Trader Joe's and Starbucks, this plaza takes all of my money and I'm ok with that. If you're looking for a good Chipotle in Tallahassee, this spot is one of the best. Try it out and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. read more

Portion sizes have returned to monstrous and filling. I continue to come here often. Wow! Okay first of all I have never left a review for Chipotle before because usually its the standard meh to fairly good food. Lets be honest most Chipotle food quality and taste has gone seriously down hill. The last 4 locations the food was down right bad, but today I took a chance. Holy cow this is some seriously circa 2011 peak Chipotle goodness that was served up to me. Let me tell you about my burrito bowl because it seriously gave me all the feels eating it. The rice was perfectly cooked and hot. The steak was also perfectly cooked, not that sometimes way too spicy, or too salty or big hunks of steak. I mean it was that perfectly seasoned little tiny bites of chopped steak that mixed beautifully in the bowl. The fajita veggies were also cooked amazing, no sogginess at all, tender and crisp but still warm and absolutely no charred pieces that I am used to receiving. The pico salsa was incredibly fresh without any mushy tomatoes. Last but not least the sour cream was not warm or ice cold but again the perfect temperature. I don't if they get all of their produce from Trader Joes or what, but I swear to you this was the best burrito bowl I have had from Chipotle in 5 years. Kuddos to the team for the quality they are producing. read more

Gristle. If you like it, this is the place for you. Biting into a delectable mouthful of Chipotle and hitting gristle after gristle has made me stop going to Chipotle. Easy food with delicious cHoices. We found this location on our way home from south FL. Yummm

I love chipotle and never thought I would give them one star....This location was just so disorganized. In addition, staff members were just standing around doing nothing when there was a long line forming. One person was doing it all at the front of the house. After waiting in line for 6 minutes (yes I was keeping track) someone finally came in to help on the line. Also they didn't have any fajita veggies which are one of my favorites. No veggies have been common with the last few locations I've been to and do not know why. Can't imagine it's because of prep time/short handed staff because there were many employees working when I was at this location. read more

Update 6/10. Dear God, I wish I would have remembered how poor our last visit was. I got a bowl today--normally I can eat half & be full. I ate the whole thing & was still starving. My husband got a double chicken burrito and it was really small. The chips were really off. It's like they were trying to be wheat? They were just terrible. I absolutely hate that I spent $20 and we were both still hungry. Huge disappointment. We had it delivered so there was no way to see the quality and size beforehand. read more

First time ever visiting a chipotle, I read most of the reviews, but wasn't too concerned about the petty complaints (they wouldn't just go to Trader Joe's to buy avocados, 1. Because they seem to stick with fresh, organically grown produce, and 2. That's a ridiculous request for them to spend the hundreds of dollars on avocados to please everyone, not just the one guacamole crazed individual that left the review). Anyways, first time visitors and they were quick to make us feel ridiculously special! We were advised to get the bowl as a way to try all of the ingredients, and probably because it's a ginormous amount of food! We were also given guacamole and chips on the house for joining the coveted chipotle family. The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place. Even if they just knew we were out of towners and felt the need to impress us, I'm impressed and happy to join the chipotle cult! read more
