When I raised the issue and the manager, they both said that the server did not know. I used the app to order from a local Chipotle and unfortunately, I didn't check to see the app selected the wrong location compared to where I was, so we drove over here to get our food. This took us about 5 more mins, compared to the location we were closer to, so by the time we got here, we expected the food to be ready, since it was supposed to be ready by 12:10PM and we arrived at 12:15PM. There was nothing on the shelves waiting for pickup and they were busy inside, so I waited a few mins and then asked the lady who was packing up to-go orders, showing her my info on the app. She basically ignored me and pointed to a bag. I asked if she was telling me that was mine, she said she didn't know and told me to look at the label. I was wearing my glasses, which aren't meant for reading, so I couldn't read the label, so I asked her if it was my name, she again pointed at the label. I ended up taking my glasses off and saw it was mine, so I took it. I asked for a couple of cups for water and she said "ask him" while pointing behind her, to the cashier who was helping other customers. This lady was very rude and curt. She probably needs to look for another job if this is how she handles working a Chipotle during a busy lunch hour! Absolutely ridiculous level of service and the sole reason for my score being so low. Other than the service issue - The food was great! Since the salad my wife wanted was a "togo" order via the app, the actually made it upside down, which was smart! With the lettuce on top, it didn't get wilted by the time she could eat it. And My tacos were amazing! The place was actually very busy, but the lobby was decently clean. Would I return here again? No way! People say chipotle's healthy, but they don't tell you is that most of their employees are sick when they work there and it's fully has and continues to have more health violations and food poisoning than other fast food restaurants. Employees do not wash their hands (I know a former employee). The "fresh" vegetables are low quality: the lettuce has been known to have E. coli contamination. The avocados are covered with Apeel and Glycosphate so you get a chemically filled guacamole. The meat is low quality hormone/growth filled, chips are soggy and fried in seed oils. Avoid chipotle in general, but especially this one. Seems like all of the restaurants in Stafford Virginia are absolutely the worst of the worst. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday evening and was kinda surprised for several reasons, all good though! The location itself is IMO kinda smaller than most which means they do not have as much seating. Not a huge dealbreaker, the line was not long so it did not take too long to make my way through the line. Portions were super generous. I wanted peppers and onions and at the time they only had onions but the young lady advised that they were making more if I wanted to wait... I was hangry so I declined and just got the onions. Curious what the Carne Asada tasted like, I asked for a little on the side as I typically get a veggie bowl these days. The Carne Asada is a winner for sure!!! Meat was nice and tender and well seasoned. The flavor was noted and noticed! Well played Chipotle, well played!! FYI, the Carne Asada does cost a little more than the other bowls too. Like every other location I've been to, they could do a better job of maintaining a cleaner work environment, but my bowl was good, hot and pretty fresh. I was in and out in 10 minutes. We gave this chipotle a chance one too many times. Tried to order the spicy salsa but they were out. They had some in the to go section so thought to ask if we could have some from there only to be told we had to order online to get it. So we placed an online order for a side of salsa and waited. Went another time and the place was well over 90 degrees. The workers should not have to work in those conditions. The place where the food was stored was an absolute mess and the guacamole was turning brown. We asked if there was fresh guacamole and they said that the brown avocados was the freshest they had. I've came here on 3 separate times in the last 2 weeks and they're missing food items. Last week it was white rice and cheese. On 1/2/22 (yesterday) they were missing white rice, guacamole, and cheese. Today it's sour cream and fajitas mix. The worker brings out a full sour cream for the Togo area that was full. I love Chipotle when the stars align, but like this review most of the time they don't, at least for the Stafford store. So what are the issues? The main issue is they are inconsistent mainly with the cooking of the ingredients, you might get a mix of cooked and undercooked rice, hard beans or dry chicken. The other BIG issue is if there is a problem you can't even call the store. They reroute you through a slow and painful automated answering service that if you are even lucky enough to talk to a human, they will tell you "I will call the store and call you back." You have to talk to someone outside of the U.S. to find out if the Chipotle 10 minutes away has the ability to take orders. (Just went there and they told us at the door their systems were down). Even the Chipotle customer hotline couldn't get through. Again I think Chipotle is great. Training of the cooks and staff on cooking and customer service gets an F- and the customer service hotline where you can never speak to the manager at the local store is a big Fail. Do better. The pandemic made you believe you can provide subpar service and products. You can believe this if you want but the reality will be us not supporting your business anymore, at least I won't. HIGH CHANCE IN THIS LOCATION BEING A HIT OR MISS To be fair, this Chipotle is no more impressive than any other Chipotle. I will admit though, the portion sizes are perfect at this location. In addition, and similar to others, at this location there's always a 20% chance the rice is served hard and uncooked, or your gigantic burrito comes wrapped only once & not twice for courtesy, if it is already bursting at its seams! On the opposite side of the same token, the staff -tonight- were eager to help. My order, via Chipotle app, had of course never made it to the restaurant's register system, so I consulted with some of the line members about reordering and showing my email receipt for proof of purchase; they moved quickly to double check for my order and immediately began to retake my order on the line when it was not found in the system. So a few years ago I reviewed with one star due to being online only, and horribly behind scheduled pick up times (45-60 minutes). For awhile they got better, but then they went downhill again. The biggest issue lately has been burned steak. See picture. The middle steak is burned/charred/hard. My daughter said it scraped her throat trying to eat it. It's hard, crispy, burned steak. The last time I was there I walked out after I saw the steak they put on the bowl. It's inedible. I mentioned to the server how bad the steak was and she said sorry - she wasn't the cook. A new chipotle opened a few miles farther away and now we go there. They haven't been open that long, but they're consistently better. It's just ridiculous that the chipotle minutes from my house is the worst chipotle in the area - complete lack of any kind of quality control.
