Salsa so good I asked for a second bowl and do they sell a container to take home. For my Dinner meal I had combo of Chicken and Steak Fajitas, came to table on a scorching hot metal plate and with a full separate plate of refried beans, guacamole, chopped lettuce, and sour cream. Wife had a Mexican Chicken Bowl. Both so great and filling. Lunch today was for me a chicken burrito combo that for me was served more like an Enchilada covered with sauce and cheese melted. So good and so FRESH. Wife had combo Steak and Chicken Bowl also so good. They have seating for 2,4, 6 or more at larger tables and even a party room for big groups. This will be a regular spot for exceptional Mexican. By the way they have a Full Bar for those who like to drink and Margarita Specials also.

We were told they perform every Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The drinks were also excellent, and the prices were very fair and affordable. Our server was friendly, attentive, and honest. They even let us know we were ordering too much food for just three people, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and highly recommend Plaza Mexico. We'll definitely be back!

I was so excited to find out that there are multiple locations of Plaza Mexico!…read more I absolutely adore the location in Palm Harbor. They make a pink Prickly Pear Margarita that is 2.DIE.4. OuiOui :).. So we decided to try this location, of Plaza Mexico. As we were seated in a booth we noticed how dark it is inside. They have painted the whole ceiling in a deep purple, almost black. It makes it feel like a creepy dungeon in the dining room. We didn't like the atmosphere at all. So the waiter came by & was very nice to ask us right away what we wanted to drink.... Of course, I want the pink Prickly Pear Margarita Like they serve at the Palm Harbor location, but he tells me they don't have that drink at this location. So we just got some waters with lemon & some bean dip to start while we looked over the menu some more.. As we started to eat some chips & salsa, we noticed the first "chips in the yellow basket" were stale. So we ask if we could get some fresh ones & a hot salsa also. The second "blue basket of chips" was great, however, both salsas were horrible. The regular one has a metal aftertaste. The hot one was hot, but it tasted like hot vinegar. I mean like eating spicy vinegar. Yuck. Hubby and I both agreed, the worst salsa we have ever had. But it gets worse. When we got the bean dip we tried to eat it & it was so drippy & full of trash! I kept getting all these little pieces of nasty unprocessed bean skins & crap. (See photos) I have never in my life gotten trash in my bean dip. It was so gross I don't think I can ever eat bean dip again. We just paid & left. Added to moi list of "worst food of our lives." DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The staff was fantastic and had a water bowl for my pet. They were attentive throughout dinner. I ordered the tacos de birria and a horchata. They brought a bowl of chips and salsa. The chips were thicker and tasted great. The salsa was also really good! The tacos came out piping hot. They were good, I have had better at other places though. The horchata comes out in a margarita glass. I loved how big it was. Very refreshing for a hot day. I loved the service and patio decorations. It was nice to relax for a bit and enjoy a good meal.
