Always great, service is great girls speak broken English but still amazing and I learn a little . It's a tiny establishment off Spring Hill next to post office. The owner asked me not to rate this place on Yelp. Somebody had a beef the other day and complained. That's just not right. If you didn't like it, you don't need to leave a long review telling everything that happened. I had never tried this place. I went with three other guys after Men's Bible study today. Let me tell you what I was less expensive than eating at McDonald's for lunch. I'm going to put up pictures of all our lunches. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Wow!! We were hesitant to try a New Mexican restaurant as we like the one we usually go to however this is now our go to for Mexican! We both ordered the chimichanga (beef) came with rice and beans. I called and ordered a taco salad. I had requested no guacamole. When I arrived home, there were no condiments on my salad. The salad was nothing but a shell with chicken and lettuce. Solid, good Mexican food. Salsa is good consistency and just right amount of spice. Taquitos were freshly cooked, hot with generous stuffing and guac and sour cream. Tacos were the most authentic I've had since in a long while served with fresh lime wedges. Tortillas are homemade by the chef. We will be back. read more

Salsa was ok. Tasted like canned tomatoes with seasoning. Comes with a small amount of chips (chips were good and crunchy) but they charge for a reorder! Guacamole dip was very tasty and came in a small but tasty edible bowl. My complaint there was it was maybe half an ice cream scoop worth. Fajitas were tasty but very greasy and again the side set up had a small teaspoon of sour cream, guac and pico. The lettuce had that cheap store bought "washed and shredded"taste. Service wasn't any better. We had to flag her or someone else when we wanted something. Yet she checked on the table behind us frequently. The other waitress actually waited on us mote then our own and was super friendly. So i guess its really what is important to you. This is our third visit to this restaurant. Again, another great trip! I LOVE the salsa and usually get a second bowl. The cheese dip is a little expensive, but worth it; it is not just melted cheese PLUS the chips that are served with it are warm. Nick has waited on us twice and really seems to care about the customer's experience. Each food item has a different flavor (fajitas, tacos, burrito, and enchiladas), unlike some Mexican restaurants that the menu items look different, but taste the same. The items are cooked to individual taste (spicy, hot, or medium) and are PIPING hot when arrive at the table. We are planning on going back for the Friday night Volcano bowl special :-) read more

Last night I had the most delicious Mexican dinner I have ever had at El Rancho Mexican restaurant. It was superb. The the room was full. However, we were served very promptly fresh delicious food the freshest most licious food I've ever had in any Mexican restaurant and then we had a wonderful dessert of Mexican ice cream. If you've never tried it try it here. You will be very pleasantly surprised. The location is easy to get to but you have to go in the back of the Save-A-Lot shopping center, you cannot really see it from the street. We did an order to go. The servers were nice and the location was cute. They handed us a two big bags and told us everything was there. One bag seemed to be leaking already so we took their word and just drove home so the beans wouldn't leaked everywhere (which they did). The drive home is 15-20 minutes from the restaurant. We get home and discover they completely left out a meal. Unfortunately they don't deliver so we had to make the drive back to get the remaining food. Not a big deal but we barely received an apology for in the inconvenience or anything. This was a little frustrating. Other than that the food was quite good. Between the leaking beans and forgotten food we might not take it to go, but would definitely try a sit down there! We do look forward to going back and possibly giving an updated review! read more

My wife and I went here for lunch on July 13. We have been here one other time months ago and the food was good. We walked in and an older gentleman told us to sit where ever we wanted. We picked a table and seated ourselves. The we waited. The restaurant was about 10 to 15% full - so many open tables. We continued to wait and nobody approached us or talked to us. Then a party of 3 came in and I told my wife if those people get service before us then we are out of here. They got service before us, so we got up and left. Treatment like that - we will NOT be back. Went to Rojo's down Spring Hill Drive and got immediate and wonderful service! This place needs some help with customer service. We eat out quite often and tip anywhere from 20 to 30% for great service. This place lost our business. read more

Absolutely the worst place ever!!!! We placed a online order at 7:15 pm and was notified through Grubhub that our order was being made at 8:30. Then I received a call from Grubhub that the restaurant cancelled our order because there to busy to make two simple dinners!!! We waited over a hour to be notified and no we have no dinner!! The manager was rude and would not make our order to even pick up!!! They can't handle there kitchen!!! What a horrible place to order from!!! I will post this on every website possible!! Not good at all. Salsa was like cold tomato sauce, no spice to it at all...very bland. Had shrimp quesadilla. Dry, tiny occasional shrimp, little cheese, and a tablespoon of salad and sour cream on top. A little onion and pepper inside. My date had cheese enchiladas. Came in a tasteless brown sauce. I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The server was more than friendly and very attentive. We told her we were from Ohio and she chatted with us for a few minutes about that. The salsa was just spicy enough but not too spicy...very good. As far as I could tell the dipping chips were freshly made. I ordered Chilie Rellenos and I liked them alot.
