Service is great. Went for an early dinner last week and a late lunch today. Server was excellent. To start brought out FRESH made Salsa and Chips. Chips were still warm. Salsa so good I asked for a second bowl and do they sell a container to take home. For my Dinner meal I had combo of Chicken and Steak Fajitas, came to table on a scorching hot metal plate and with a full separate plate of refried beans, guacamole, chopped lettuce, and sour cream. Wife had a Mexican Chicken Bowl. Both so great and filling. Lunch today was for me a chicken burrito combo that for me was served more like an Enchilada covered with sauce and cheese melted. So good and so FRESH. Wife had combo Steak and Chicken Bowl also so good. They have seating for 2,4, 6 or more at larger tables and even a party room for big groups. This will be a regular spot for exceptional Mexican. By the way they have a Full Bar for those who like to drink and Margarita Specials also. read more

I had heard about coyote Rojo For about a couple of weeks and I had been wanting to try it. When my son called me today and said hey, do you wanna meet for lunch? I said yeah I'm close to this place that I've been wanting to try. So he met me here and we were greeted by some very nice people. I was amazed at how clean and spotless everything was. Even the floors were spotless. We receded right away and our drink order is taken. After a few minutes, our waiter came by and asked if we were ready to order. We said yes, placed our order and was able to listen to some very good Hispanic music very up and cheerful. When we first arrived, the place was empty cause we got there when they opened, but after I took the video there were people in every row was lots of people everywhere so it's a very popular place. And on the sign, it says number four so this is obviously the fourth store for them. Our food came out rather quickly, and it was absolutely delicious! It was very well presented colorful, clean, and fresh. We were checked on quite often. Do we need any refills and is everything OK? The food was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it that I couldn't even finish it. You get a lot of food for the money that you pay and that's great especially for great tasting food. I told the waiter that I was pretty good at making salsa Verde so he brought me a small bowl of theirs which was pretty spicy. It was delicious, but I have to admit mine is better. lol. The parking is private for the restaurant but the thing that had me a little off was that the handicap spots were not directly in front of the restaurant they were off to the side, which would mean a handicap person would've had to walk a lot longer distance. There was a tiny step up, but nothing that a wheelchair or a handicap person couldn't handle. There was plenty of handicap seating as well as a spot in the restroom. If you have not tried coyote Rojo, I would highly recommend you give it a try. The food is fresh. The atmosphere is lively and it's great for all occasions and for kids. Just stopping in for a quick lunch on my way to coach a baseball game. Looks like a normal Mexican restaurant inside. Not overly clean nor dirty. I sat at the bar and the service here was prompt. They have coke products. Free chips and salsa. The salsa is sweet with a small kick. The chips are hit and miss, but overall okay. The beef enchiladas, and taco were solid. Nothing to brag about but definitely good, Overall I would eat here again. read more

I come here every single taco Tuesday. You have to come early or the bar fills up quickly but you can't beat $2 tacos. Their shredded beef tacos are to die for and they have the BEST home made salsa and queso. The older lady behind the bar is a little bit slow. I can't believe it's been five years since I reviewed this restaurant. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Spring Hill Florida. I had a delicious meal of chips and salsa and chimichanga refried beans small salad with guacamole and Mexican rice. All that in this economy for $13.99 and you cannot go wrong. You would pay that much for a quarter pounder large fry large Coke at McDonald's. I would rather come here. They made my Cinco de Mayo very special. My waitress was Darian. Good food, ok service depending on who you get. I sat for about 10 mins with no refill of my salsa. When my server came to deliver my food, I asked her for more salsa. She came back out and sat another couple, then went to the front and stood there. I asked her again for more salsa...for my food. She actually said, "it's coming" referring to the chip girl who brings chips/salsa to your table. I thought that was very strange that she was standing there not doing anything and she herself couldn't bring me more salsa, but insisted on waiting for the "chip girl" to do it. I've worked in a Mexican restaurant and when my customers needed refills, I didn't stand around and wait for the "chip girl" to get around to it, especially when my customer had food in front of them that they wanted to put salsa on. I asked for some queso over my chicken and they charge $3 for that! That's way too much! Not sure I'll be back. read more

Coyote Rojo Guacamole is absolutely THE best I've ever enjoyed! From anywhere! Their Chimichanga is perfect! Crispy & full of flavor. Gimme a Chimi! Vivid images in bright orange, yellows and earthy hues over hand-carved wooden creations. On booths, tables and chairs. Color. Everywhere. My time-worn tests in any Mexi-food quest? We'll, service was awesome and very friendly and the food was FANTASTIC!! We just moved to Florida from Southern California, where they have great Mexican food, and have been looking for OUR restaurant here. As of now, Coyote Rojo is it.
