So this place is a local food truck and I can say I'm Impressed. Especially because I am a vegetarian and the owner was extremely accommodating to my dietary needs. It's pretty cool To eat outside on the picnic table except in over 90degree weather so had to pack it up and eat in the car. Glad they had very cold drinks that day. read more

Im from Los Angeles and not like LA. Cheap meat fills a hole and just makes a turd. Nice people though just not the best taco I've had.

I just stopped in for a little snack of a taco and to try this place because it's rated very high. The prices are very reasonable. if you want to go to Taco Bell, you wouldn't get the same quality taco that you get here. Being that it's taco Tuesday they had run out of the ground beef and I'm glad they did even though that's what I was going to order in my taco. Instead, I got pulled pork and the fixings. It was only $2.50. TYVM and It hit the spot. I'm adding a picture of it. Next time I'm going to get a full dinner because that's how good it was!! I shall return said General MacArthur and me too lol! Just off of what I ate I highly recommend you come here and eat their great food!! read more

The tacos were amazing! I arrived to the truck not long before close and the service was still amazing. They even brought the food out to my car so I didn't have to wait outside. They are located to the side where other food trucks are, so can't really comment on the ambiance, but I know they get busy! read more

It tastes pretty good. I just don't like the waiting. I do not like the difference in sizes from the pictures to when I see the actual tacos. But very good so far. Only tried once. I can't barely make their time I leave work late most times. Also, pricey! But good. Don't you see? I have no food photos to post. I ate them all! read more

This place constantly delivers the best local tacos around. It's a place where the owner makes you not just feel like a customer but part of his extended family. The crowd knows it, we know it. It can get chaotic since the secret is out and everyone knows this place has got it. The few times the wait has been a bit longer it's simple because of the volume the business services. I'm a frequent customer and every single time the e owner engages in conversation and always make sure you feel appreciated The food is amazing. Hope others who haven't experienced this place get to. read more

Good food. Went Saturday at lunch and it was very busy. Only negative was it was a little slow to get my order. Order ahead. Chicken Burrito was great. read more

My favorite place to eat and the best food truck in Spring Hill. I love tacos and I could eat tacos everyday. Cali Street Tacos has the best street tacos with a large variety of meats to choose from. But some may argue it's not just about their tacos. It's about their spicy red sauce, just kidding. They also have delicious burritos, bowls and nachos. Try the red sauce. I haven't tried the quesadilla but I've been thinking about it and I bet they are just as yummy as everything else. Every time we order, I have to hold back and not order 10 tacos to myself. It always hits the spot and I usually find myself dancing after each bite and Spring Hill doesn't have many places that makes me dance when I eat. Put the spicy red sauce on everything. Follow them on FB and you'll know when and where they are. They usually stay in the same place but they occasionally have events that might overlap with Googles hours. Just give them a like, they deserve it. Everyone is so friendly and personable. I'm very happy to have this gem of a food truck so close by and seriously Spring Hill is lucky to have Cali Street Tacos! I highly recommend giving them a try. If for any reason your experience is not amazing, let them know and try it again at another time cause I honestly have never had a bad experience nor a problem they didn't make right. Such great people! I love Cali Street Tacos!! read more

Dude! spot on! with the Cali street taco thing. Been here a year and no Mexican restaurant with in a 10 mile radius puts out true Mex flavors that one gets a few miles north of the boarder in Cali. Grew up with this stuff after long beach day or walking out at midnight from southern cal nightclubs. All this needs is, a kick you in the ash hot red Chile de árbol sauce. The stuff that keeps you on the throne for hours the next morning! Cmon guys make it happen!! Dude! throw away the trailer open up the restaurant already! read more

I seen them on Facebook and it looked delicious, now I live in Pasco and Cali's is in Spring Hill which is 25 miles from my house, my only day off is on Wednesday. So I decide to drive out one day and see if it is as good as it looks. My sons got me into the Birria Tacos. So I order 4 Birria tacos and a quesadilla Birria, I was going to wait till I got home to share them with my sons, but about 2 miles down the road I had to pull over, cause my mouth was watering from the Amazing smell of the consumme' ( broth ). OMG!!! I'M HOOKED!! Must say Marcus ( Owner ) is a gold mine, the place is amazing, there are picnic tables for you to sit at and enjoy the greatness. So 25 miles is well worth it. And since I have found the best, I try other places around me and Nothing Compares To Cali Tacos!! Service was definitely on point as well. Please stop by this place and order! You will not regret it. read more

Two hours of waiting.... Two hours for an order of food and that's after I was told it would take about 25-30 minutes when the order was placed. At no time did anyone come to me to tell me that there was a delay or a problem or to apologize for the wait time as I'm sitting in my car watching the sun set. It wasn't until I got out of my car and approached to ask if my order is done until they realized someone wasn't happy. I find it difficult to believe that anyone with an honest conscience can tell me that absolutely no one else has a problem with this or that a two hour wait is reasonable by any measure. If you're hungry, don't go here. You'll die of starvation long before you get your food. I've been to other taco vendors in the area and NO ONE else takes this long. Imagine if you were at a sit down restaurant, would you wait that long? Now imagine your expectations at a street vendor and ask yourself exactly how long would you consider it to be "reasonable" to wait? The food is good don't get me wrong but it doesn't stand out beyond the next guy and it surely doesn't justify a ridiculous waiting experience. And this was my second visit. My first took me an hour to get my food. I know they say that you should give people three strikes but honestly after at this rate do you think I'm going to EVER give them a third try? Either they don't know how to properly operate the business or they are dishonest to their customers about the wait time just to ensure the orders keep coming in cause let's be honest you know that if you tell people 1-2 hours wait, people will leave. So no, I do NOT recommend them. read more

Have ordered from this food truck in the past and enjoyed the food. Ordered the salsa verde burrito early so as to assure all the ingredients were available. Picked up the order at the pre-designated time and was told the only item available was the plain carnitas burrito...Tasteless, very much not what I expected. Two of us left more than half of a one person portion. VERY DISAPPOINTED..What is the point of preordering if ingredients are not put aside for that order. If this was my first Cali experience I would never order again read more

After seeing many 5 star reviews I thought this place was going to be good. Unfortunately It was not. You know the saying "if you F**k around you're going to find out" well that's what happened to me here. I had ordered 3 asada, 3 Al pastor, 2 shrimp and two Birria tacos and a soda for 35.68$. The corn tortillas are store bought and cheap. The asada had absolutely no seasoning and tasted like a dirty flat top. Same for Al pastor and shrimp. Couldn't even taste salt. I had called for a pick up and said I was on a tight schedule and they told me to come and my food would be ready when I get there. I got there and had to wait an additional 32minutes ! Causing me to also end my break 27min late. I seen comments that the Birria was the best. Omg was I fooled. This gots to have been the worse Birria tacos I've ever half eaten. And to make it all worse as in the photos I provided they used cheddar cheese in a Birria taco smh. And the consome aka dipping broth was disgusting. Tasted like water with onion and cilantro. I usually always give great reviews but I just can't with this place. I feel bad knowing it's hard for small buisness but it's also hard for US to spend our money supporting them and getting horrible food. read more

One of mine & my husband's favorite place to eat! Great service as well as great food!! Enjoy them soo much!

Family owned truck. They were very nice. The street tacos and burritos were on point. Me and hubby will be back, already have twice now.

I don't give places one stars ever but when a place gives me food poisoning I have to i went to cali street tacos Friday 03/15/24 got a family pack spent 53 bucks on a family pack first our order was wrong asked for no Cilantro on anything well they doused the shrimp tacos in a Cilancho and sour cream mix. So whatever went back made 5 new tacos great gave me 4 free tacos for next time because of the mistake well all the food was either over cooked or was the same meat from all day or the day before because it was extremely dry and the shripms we're over cooked practically like rubber it was just awful well it was dinner and growing up I was taught not to waste food so i ate it because it was 53 and change for it and im not about to throw out 53 dollars of food my boyfriend refused to eat it well I should have too...I have had the worst food poisoning ever to the point I missed works yesterday because of it.... so my 53 dollars of food I refused to throw out and eat anyway Poisoned me and I lost a days pays soooo all because of this place you have put me in the whole approx 180 bucks I posted this on Google too I want everyone to know just so you can be cautious Oh and I almost forgot. They're The red Verdi sause in the 2 9z cups We're in the heat all day so they started to ferment So when you went to open the container, they exploded from the pressure built up inside. So be careful if you get anything with red verde sauce It's not stored properly and just put in White buckets right by the window in the florida heat read more

The birria tacos and the taco special are delicious! The service is fantastic and so friendly. Will definitely go back!

Closest taste and texture to the tacos I had in Tijuana when I was flower child attending CSUN out on the coast. The flavor brings back good memories. Been to Tampa to sample the Birrias at several places and none can compare to the flavor of their consommé. Ordered dinner when the family was visiting from PA and they loved it. Will definitely order again on the their next visit to enjoy by the pool. More variety than a ho hum BBQ. I'm very lucky the truck is close by. Let Cali do the cooking read more
