Consistently bad customer service. Staff will argue with customers and other staff in front of everyone

Came in today and received an unexpected/uncalled for Bad Service & Attitude at this Location from Angel. I've have been eating Chipotle 4 to 7 times a week for the past eight years of my life, I'm very familiar of what is fair and not fair when it comes to portion sizes. I'm also not the type of person to speak up about something unless it's something severely wrong. I got a double meat burrito, 1 Full Serving Being Steak, the other Full Serving being Barbacoa. He did the steak first and did a good full scoop portion size, but when he did the Barbacoa, he got the tongs and grabbed the smallest sliver of meat and put it on the burrito and then grabbed the red marker to indicate double meat. I pointed out the small Sliver he did, (from this point on, his tone towards me was Negative) in which he said "you want more ?" , and which I said "I just want the normal size portion for a full serving and thats not it" He said "that is the normal portion size" as he grabbed a much more decent size amount with the tongs and put it on the burrito. At that point when talking about the original amount he did, I said "that is not the normal portion size for a full serving at any other chipotle" What he then, replied with a snarky/ condescending/ "Thats cool" as he walked off to show that he didnt give a F*** about what i had to say, which was quite rude and unprofessional, and most of all, Unnecessary. He could've just addressed my concerns properly like a man, and if I was truly in the wrong, we could've got a manager to tell me and Prove exactly how that's small original sliver was 4 ounces of meat (which it wasnt). But instead, he wanted to carry himself the way he did and when I left, I felt severely disrespected and undermined by his interaction, and I honestly lost my appetite, which is not good because I have a job to get back to myself. I went back inside and asked the front staff for his name which they let me know , because a person like that doesn't need to interacting with customers if he can't do his job right and also keep a professional tone when trying to solve a problem. I know from the text of what was said, it doesn't sound like it was too negative of an interaction, but it was one of those situations where you had to be there to witness exactly how Angel was coming off. And those that know him, most likely know exactly how he was being in this situation. The food here is good, I come here to this location at least once a week if I'm in this area, but this young man needs some slight guidance to help push him in a better direction. It'll help for a more positive environment at this chipotle. read more

Best chipotle around!! I come here atleast 3 times a month and they are very consistent. The staff always does a good job and pick up orders are always ready in time. If portions are too small just ask for a little bit more! I never eat in so for that experience I cannot speak about but the restaurant seems clean and has relaxed vibes. read more

My daughter and I walked in to grab a bite and the place was filthy. Someone was fixing the vents above the open grill and the grill needed cleaning. There were about three other employee. There was a lady was packing food and the other two were just there waking around. No one acknowledged us after standing there for about 5 mins. We left and will never be back. read more

The only reason this Chipotle is open is because of the location. I've lived nearby for the past 3 years and I've come frequently solely based on the proximity and walking distance to my place. I certainly do not come here for the service. I promise you I have never been greeted at this location, I've never been offered additional toppings and certainly never been told to have a good day. I have come at all times. Busy. Slow. Mid day. Night. It doesn't matter. You are a transaction to these employees. Something they HAVE to do. Not because they want to work in the service industry, but because they have to. There is better food and better service nearby. read more

I am so glad that Chipotle finally came out with a new protein that I will actually enjoy. We used to frequent Chipotle all the time when we started dating 15 years ago. Now we go a lot less frequently because there is such a problem with consistency. It does not matter what store or even what state we are in the consistency issue exists. This time the carne asada was not spicy but was soaked in lime. It was still good and thankfully I like a lot of lime, but I was missing the spicy meat. The store was clean and the staff was well organized and was able to move people through quickly. The ice machine was completely empty. read more

I was so surprised to walk into a chipotle and see smiling faces behind the counter. they called us sir and ma'am, they wiped off the counter between customers, and they even gave me the patience to scan my chipotle app the restaurant was well cleaned throughout, and the wait was moving swiftly at peak dinner hour. if you're a chipotle fan, this one hits all the aspects of a great eating experience. if every chipotle was ran like this one, chipotle would have way more of my money lol. read more

This used to be one of the better Chipotles, but the service has gone way downhill in the last few months. As a regular, we've often gone between 9:15- 9:30 at night, to find the staff busy cleaning the grill, etc and ask us to wait while they keep cleaning, sometimes having to wait several minutes. The last two times we've gone they have told us they were completely out of white rice and then were completely out of cheese. Joseph was the server both times and was rather rude. When I asked him for cheese he said "We're out." I asked ""You're completely out of cheese?" His response was "That's what I said." No apologies or explanation. Most of them seemed more intent on cleaning up and getting out of there than on customer service. Just seems a bit early to be shutting everything down. We've taken our business to the one by Stonebriar and it's much better. read more

This is by far the best Chipotle in the area. Read the reviews of the other locations - they just don't compare to this one at the Shops at Legacy. There have been times that they have made mistakes, most notably I ordered two bowls and they just forgot one, but accidents happen! The most important thing is not how often they make mistakes but what they do to fix it - and the staff here are always so nice and helpful. Again, there have been times when the staff were a little short with me - but it was Friday night dinner rush, and they probably weren't thrilled to hear they forgot my bowl and had to make it on the fly. I get it! The food always tastes great and they aren't stingy with the portions like other Chipotle locations in the area (namely, the one off Warren and the DNT). Go out of your way if you have to. I ordered white rice, chicken, guacamole and lettuce. Upon eating this at home, my husband and I both noticed we had spice in our meals. I have a sensitivity to spice and I made sure I didn't order anything with spice. Are they using the same spoon with all the "other" ingredients for the guacamole? I've ordered this same meal, at other locations and have never had it spicy. Also, they barely serve you any chicken. I will not return to this location. God awful service. Lady asking what I wanted asked 10 people in line and shoved us all on top of each other in line, didn't make eye contact and had a piss poor attitude. Trash. That's the word to sum up this entire location. I used to live next to this location about 4 years ago and had great experiences but it is completely garbage now. It's only still open because of its location and proximity to other businesses. When you walk in here be prepared to give the same energy given, the girl making my bowl was acting like she couldn't hear what the hell I was asking for on my bowl, repeating everything back to me like I stuttered when I spoke loudly and clearly. Had an attitude with me asking for more when she gave me the smallest portions -- and I don't mind to pay more ever, so make my bowl how I ask please. The guy at the register acted like he's mute. No eye contact, no words came out of his mouth. Just pointed to the register when the machine was ready for my card. I don't even care how good the food taste because the service was beyond garbage. If you have the choice go to another location or another franchise because chipotle has gone down hill. read more

The ingredients are always hot and fresh tasting and they keep the lines moving during busy lunch hours. The Flower Mound location could take a tutorial from this Unfortunately this location has resorted to tactics of others. Paid for double chicken and barely got more than one serving size. I've been to this Chipotle location a number of times since I started working in the area. I'll warn that it's very busy at lunchtime and seating is somewhat limited; frankly, I've only ever gotten carry out. But those of you who've have read my reviews, know I'm all about the food. I've never been disappointed here. I'm usually looking for a bowl, with my default being a "extra barbacoa" with extra fajita veggies, light rice, pinto beans, hot salsa and sour cream. That will make 2, sometimes 3 meals for me, depending on how generous the "pour" is. My bowls have always tasted fresh, and the meat has very little "undesirable bits". I've also had chips here on a few occasions, and they've been crisp and delicious. One other thing to be aware of if you dine in during a busy time: It's pretty loud here, so take that into account. But as for the food, I've not had an issue. read more

This is probably one of my favorite places to go during lunch. As I walked in, the ambiance was not too noisy and welcoming. Approaching the buffet area the ladies assisting were prompt and very friendly. I ordered the barbacoa burrito bowl and the servings were pretty accurate except for the barbacoa. It seemed they were out of it and all i saw on that canister is the meat juice but she kept trying to dig in to give me the scrapes of the meat. I was ready to pay and it seemed they were training the young man at the cash register but he was very professional and prompt. I would like to compliment on the fast customer service especially due to the area. Majority of the clientele is from corporate companies and of course lunch is limited to time. Made an online order for pickup at 7:15. I pull up to the store and the place looks dead, seems like a quick and easy food order. No, they had what appeared to be 6 orders not bagged and a bunch of employees standing around. I wait until 7:30, the once empty store is now filled with a bunch of people also waiting around to get their food. I am then told that they are out of chips and I would need to wait further for chips or a refund. I took my order, no chips, no refund. Got home and my food which is cold AF. I live down the street, maybe a two minute drive from the place. Adding to the greatness of this experience, half of my carne asada was not even cut. I go to this chipotle 4-5 times a week after my workouts and they're always clean, FRESH, friendly and inviting! Jonathan has stood out to me quite frequently, he's always smiling and happy! It's a joy to look forward to walking in, almost everyday, knowing they always do the best job. Best service from any chipotle I've visited and I'm an avid customer. 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!!!!! Manager needs to be fired ASAP . They did not have any Steak on the line and the manager did not have any on the grill . The Manager put the steak on the grill for less then 30 seconds and took it off . The steak was bright red . Definitely not cooked at 140 or 155 . Big time health code violation . Worst Chipotle I've ever been to. Employees are unprofessional and don't seem to value their customers. After busting my burrito open they asked if they could wrap it with another tortilla. Long-story short, I ended up rewrapping it myself at the checkout. And had no issue doing it. Well I mean, food is always fresh but the service sucks! The staff are like selfish little busy bees! They ask what meat you'd like and they balance the spoon as if they're counting the pieces of chicken on it so they don't give you enough to finish your bowl but ask for beans and they damn near give you the whole tub of them! I really like this location as it's close, also the food is always fresh and quick. I wanted to give a special shout out to the online web-order team that was working today at lunch time 1/31/2020. I really like the whole "skip the line" idea by ordering online, especially in this area because it's so busy. The guy and girl working today did an amazing job as there was a huge office order ahead of everyone and also a line of people picking up their online orders. The same guy is there whenever I pick up to go. He is always very professional and always gets my order right. Both employees were great today, it was especially busy, busier than a usual Friday.
