I walked into this Chipotle hungry, but I didn't realize I'd be entering a portion-control seminar taught by a master of restraint. The tortas there wields the chicken scoop like it's a priceless family heirloom. One... two... half a cube of chicken, and suddenly my burrito bowl looks like it's on a diet. It's not even a scoop at this point--it's more of a cameo appearance by chicken. I almost asked if the rest of my protein was stuck in traffic. And the eye contact? Oh, she knows. There's a twinkle in her eye that says, "Go ahead... ask for more. I dare you." Meanwhile, my rice mound is large enough to host a small wedding, but the chicken is somewhere between "sample size" and "blink and you'll miss it." This chipotle can definitely get packed and very busy and slow with your food very fast . There is most of the time a line out the door which moves sorta fast depending on the day . The staff aren't friendly they want ya in and out . The place itself it sorta dirty same with the restrooms . Overall for fast food it's ok . read more

First of all she barely put any rice and beans I asked her for extra and she was doing it with an attitude, she had online orders and I waited no problem. Walked in one person in front of me so I thought to myself not bad of a wait . However the person behind the counter started making all these orders and I was like where are the people . She never acknowledged me so I started checking my emails waiting . She finally ask me what I would like , my response was Oh it's my turn ? She didn't like that I said that and just proceeded asking me questions before I could even answer she was asking me another question . I get that to go orders are important but when you have people standing right in front of you take the time to acknowledge them and say we will be right you !!! Location is the worst in my area. It's sad I want to drive further to other locations. They always short hand food and it looks old. Today the sauces and guacamole containers were inflated and hard from trapped air inside. The guac was already getting brown. If I'm going to pay extra for it, I would like it to be FRESH. This location is horrible!! When I had gotten in I had asked the lady for a rice bowl and had asked for a little bit more rice in the bowl. When I had asked she was having an attitude the black girl and the two Mexican girls were being very rude. Then when I had asked for more cheese she was only adding literally a pinch on cheese I had to ask her 6 more times for it to equal a hand scoop. Then when I went to pay they were rushing me and added an extra charge of sides on the total. Never had to pay for sides when asking for extra cheese and rice!!!!! There are two Chipotles in Pearland, and they are both about equal distance from my house. I swore off the other one so I have been going to this one. Just like the other one, everytime I go I find this location less and less to my liking as well. I had an order delivered via DoorDash. First off, our chips didn't come with the salsa we requested. Second, all of our bowls were severely deprived of meat. I had to really pick through to find any. What I did find was close to burnt. They were so stingy on the sauce that the rice was super dry. If anything, maybe if I go in and actually watch them make the bowl, it may be more to my liking. If they are going to offer delivery, make it just like if the customer is standing in front of you. I love Chipotle over all, and I would hate to drive any further than I have to. Maybe, just maybe I will come back to this location again. read more

Be prepared for a wait if you are placing an order in restaurant. This location does not use a separate prep area and slots web orders in ahead of walk ins. Numerous times I have seen a line to the door while the staff builds web orders. The food quality is fine. I just wish this location would segregate building the web orders like some locations do. read more

Awful service. I came here to pick up a burrito for my boyfriend and it wasn't busy when I came just after 5:15pm which is about dinner time. I got to the counter and the young gentleman standing at the counter greeted me and asked what he could get for me. I said I'd like a burrito. Then suddenly a heavy set white lady came up directly behind me, and very rudely said "I don't care what you do but I need a chicken quesadilla." to one of the ladies next to the gentleman and she said "of cousre we'll get that for you." then the white lady said "oh take care of her (referring to me) first, I didn't mean to jump ahead." For some reason, the gentleman whom had just warmed up my tortilla for the burrito decided to ignore my burrito and make me stand there and wait and instead made the chicken quesadilla and put it in the toaster then slowly meandered back to me to work on my burrito, which my tortilla was probably cold now from sitting on the counter for 8 minutes (yes, I timed it because I was in a rush). He finally got my burrito filled and the last thing I asked for was to have cheese on top which he ignored and went to get the chicken quesadilla from the toaster and asked the lady behind me if she wanted anything with it. Another older gentleman came to the register then and looked over at the burrito, and I told him, a carnita burrito, and he said with queso, and I said no queso, it's sour cream and he then asked what else I'd like and I said "chips and queso please". He had me pay out and during this time, my burrito still was laying open on the counter, missing the cheese. I asked the older gentleman at the counter if he could just have someone finish my burrito so I could get going because I was in a rush and he called the other guy over to finish my burrito and I reminded him I wanted cheese on top and then for him to wrap it. At this time, there was about 10 people in line and NO ONE from the staff came up to help out. This staff at this Chipotle location does not know how to work as a team, they just let each other fail and let the customers have an awful experience. If the guy who tried to wrap my burrito was new, well they should have had him with someone watching him and helping him with getting orders ready and also getting customers out of line. Finally someone who seemed more tenured came up and got some gloves and wrapped my burrito after the new guy struggled to wrap my burrito and hadn't considered to use a 2nd tortilla to wrap it. I've never experienced such awful service at a Chipotle before until I came to this location and This staff at this location severely need all the help they can get. They need more leadership to step up and get their team working together and cohesively otherwise service will always fail and customers will never have a good experience. My boyfriend also commented that because the way the burrito was wrapped, all the meat ended on one end and the rest of the ingredients on the inside went to the top, so the last bite of the burrito was super dry and just carnitas, no sour cream, no salsa or beans and rice. read more

Service not bad, the cashier and I held a good brief conversation while we were waiting for my dad's food. The guy who serviced to prepare my veggie bowl asked what kind of meat I wanted, my dad and I looked at him dumbfounded asking him, "what meat, no meat, it's veggie." I guess he was tired or first day. Maybe he thinks vegetarians eat meat. Who knows? The next young girl had a soft mouse voice. I told her I wanted cheese, tomatoes, and corn in a medium tone. She say, "what?" "Did you want tomatoes?" .........yes, I would like cheese, tomatoes, and corn. She whispering items to me.. I can't hear you with the flipping of pans and sizzling of pork fat on the grill in the back. She repeated again only to sound like a yearn from a tunnel. I don't know what her problem was. Finally, I made it to the cashier again. I was surely glad. The cashier watched my dad and I walk in together and even held the door open for us, she asks me, "are y'all together or paying separate?" I look at her and she looks at me. She says, "oh yeah, I seen y'all walk in together, of course y'all are paying together." We talk again about her forgetting that. Our food is paid for and we leave. The food is good, at home, my mum asks, "did they put any burnt chicken in my bowl?" My dad says, "no, I told them I wanted fresh chicken and they went to the kitchen to get some for me." Now for my veggie bowl, the grilled sauteed onions were good, not caramelized, but I'm thinking the next step to sauteeding is caramelizing. I'm no Martha Stewart. The vinegarette sauce was excellent -- it had more apple cider vinegar than oil. I could taste a strong ACV taste to it. I'm just a fan of mustard and vinegar. I'm really excited about the new sauce because before the burritos and bowls were pretty dry. Fresh corn lettuce, and tomatoes with cilantro. The cilantro rice was the bomb.com. I'm not sure why I got the cheese since I'm trying to stay away from, but it added a little flavor to the bowl. No sour cream on this round, I added some milkfree sour cream in it instead. All in all, not bad service. The staff may be young and tired, but they OK in my book. I'm just glad we don't have to travel all the way to Webster anymore. Now, that was out of the way! read more

OMG. I could literally eat the steak salad bowl EVERYDAY if I could afford it. I can NEVER get their app to work to accrue points tho

Let's start with the good side, food tasted good but was more on the cold than hot side. I had a bow with half steak and half chicken. Reason for a one star? Is due to the lady next to the register being unprofessional, has a lack of communication skills with the customer which had been waiting for a while with an order than no one seemed to get and it was as simple as a burrito with stale guacamole and cheese. No name tags so couldn't get the persons name but she definitely needs some talking to. I was not offered anything besides my bowl I was told "das it?" I'm not sure where employers pull people from but definitely not the chipotle kind of employees l. First off by saying wow there was a lady in front of us who basically wanted the employees to sing and dance for her. Full on sympathy for the patient staff. Second off by saying how professional Ruby and Elba handled everything. To add more gravity to this visit, my girlfriend and I came in 5 minutes before chipotle closed this evening. I love Chipotle generally for their fresh hot food and their clean restaurant. I went to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. I bought 3 sofrito bowls with guacamole. Now the social distancing was great, but I was concerned that only a few of the servers had on mask. The customer service was very poor. Due to Covid-19 I took my food to go . The pricing was excellent but because my daughter use to work for Chipotle I think they should have been friendlier and asked if I had the app.. When I got home the food was good. Next time I will try another location they are generally at least a 4 star. read more

Worse chipotle service I've had. First time trying this one out and the workers are beyond rude. One worker gave me the worse stares when asking for double. I was very polite. Ordered a bowl to go. The chicken was overdone to the point it tasted burnt. I had to ask for extra veggies because i was barely given a spoonful. The young lady that was serving the sauces was very unfriendly and rushed people through the line. Also, where I was underserved on veggies my bowl was completely smothered and weighed down in sour cream. Just overall not a good experience at this location. I had been boycotting Chipotle for several years due to the inconsistency, quality and value but I decided to give them a try. I randomly tried this location since I was in the area. I went at the perfect time of day around 2pm on a Wednesday, there was no line. The staff was welcoming. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with chips and guacamole. They served fair sized portions of the chicken and other toppings which was not my experience in the past. They are a bit pricey which is why I only gave 4 stars. My girlfriend and I have always liked coming to this chipotle location. nice area, nice people, and have never had any problems. nothing gets better than almost finishing your burrito and realizing that it has been infested with a worm. not sure if this what the new propaganda includes with this location or if they're helping fear factor look for more auditions. certainly not us though. this is one good reason why we will never go back. read more
