Once upon a time Chipotle was unique. I have been to this location twice in the past month and now I know why I go elsewhere. Pros: those are long gone Cons: Overarching attention to online orders at the expense of waiting customers (it took me 20 minutes to get through the line recently on my 30 minute lunch... while self-styled, eco-friendly hipsters strolled in with their bags from previous orders and blocked the register). Food quality is mediocre. Lots of minor food safety violations (soiled gloves on register, cross-contamination, etc). Dining room is usually in need of a sweep and wipe-down. Location (like everything on SR63) is horrible to access. Outrageous prices for ever-worsening food. Chipotle is the equivalent of the Elephant graveyard for outdated hipsters in man-buns, (sweating) people in work-out gear, angry Social Justice Warriors looking for company, and lost souls that haven't discovered better burrito joints. Chipotle cannot reinvent itself, so forget the queso dip. read more

I don't complain a lot and I actually feel like I give compliments when they're due. But this is absolutely positively unacceptable place to order on the app asked for extra lettuce. I think I can count on one hand how many pieces of lettuce are on this order. Now the sour cream went to one side that might've been me in my car, but this meal looks absolutely disgusting. read more

All food looked great. Line moved quickly. Went in at 11:45 on a weekday. Line was clean, not littered w/food on counter. Plenty of staff. 4 ppl total just from beginning of line to register. This was awful. So basically my family ordered a bunch of food and mine gave me white rice instead of brown rice and then they didn't give me cheese. The worker was extremely rude. When we went to pick up the food it wasn't there and was behind the counter. We asked where the drinks were and she responded very rudely and told us they were in the bag. They were not in the bag!! I'm not sure what happened to this location but it has slid down to one of, if not the WORST I've been to within the last year. 2/2 times recently, out of a key item. First visit out of white rice, 2nd visit out of vegetables. The food they did have on the line was VERY POORLY displayed. Forget full tins of fresh food, there were little baggies of leftover like ingredients. I didn't feel safe eating there, let alone all the essential product outages. You had ONE JOB, produce a good burrito. You couldn't even do that, who runs out of white rice and vegetables? Who ever heard of a chipotle putting spare ingredients in little baggies on the line? I got the smallest portion of chicken I've ever gotten at a chipotle. I wasn't going to say anything but when I asked for corn, he might've put 5 pieces on there. I asked for more and then he proceeded to put a tiny pinch of lettuce on there so I just laughed and said come on man Let me get some more. While checking out, the guy at the register started to get pissed at me telling me to never say anything about the portions they give out again. I should have checked the reviews prior to walking. I'm visiting for work and was staying at Tru by Hilton. I walked to Chipotle at 6:15 pm only to find out they were closed. One of the employees was cleaning the trash cans as I walked up, she didn't speak or inform me they were closed. I walked to the entrance and pulled the door. That's how I found out it was closed. As I walked back I saw an employee inside cleaning up and the employee that was cleaning the trash cans was now sitting on the side of the restaurant with a friend and a small child smoking marijuana. Hey shook my head in disgust. I checked the website to see what time they closed and it said 10 pm. Clearly that was not true. I definitely should have checked the reviews and called before the small walk. read more

It is the only location around and unfortunately I never learn. Out of this last year, ordering 2x/month, maybe 3 times has it actually been correct AND good. Most of the time the rice is cold, hard, and oversalted. The meat is fatty and inedible. And tonight, like several other times, my order resembles nothing on the printed out sticker (we used app). Do they offer to make it right? Maybe once but that is a 30 minute drive round trip, for their mistake. The other times they just do nothing. Horrible, they were out of everything including rice! The store so was dirty I didn't even want to sit down, tables and floor looked like 20 toddlers came in to eat. They gave 2 pieces of chicken and a handful of beans and still charged full price. I work in the food/beverage industry and I can hear my manager and district manager losing their minds if I ran our location this way in peak times. Big no no. The manager on duty at least remedied the situation as best he could but it required me to bring the food back in after my husband gave up and brought it home. Tables were dirty. Employees plentiful but not working ( only 1 working) Stood waiting on line for quite some time. Last time I was there ,at 4:00 was told they were closed. The person in charge of the line was awful. It was the older lady with dark hair. She was rude and only gave me half a bowl also. You could literally see space on the bottom on the bowl. Been noticing a disappointing decrease in quality with the last few deliveries so we decided to pick up the order in person. Showed up on time for pick up but food hadn't even been started; the staff was more interested in closing up than serving. This is especially frustrating when you're disabled and all the chairs have been put up. Witnessed other orders being prepared with badly torn tortillas and thrown around. I don't think anyone likes making quesadillas. Good thing I was there to observe the preparation of my order... none if the side salsas were closed correctly and I was able to close the containers myself before the entire bag was a loss. Also was missing the rice sides from my order which I was able to correct in person. Terrible experience, but some of the food is probably edible. Not planning to return to this location unless there's a complete change of staff or retraining. My food was 20 minutes late... good thing I brought my cane. Yikes. read more

First of all I love Chipotle as a company and their offerings. Their stores have a lot to be desired. I feel their store management does not take stock in the quality of service being offered and the food preparation. I eat here often only because it is the closest one. You get attitude from the staff because they can't hear you and then they slop the food together cause food to go everywhere. If they go to wrap a burrito and it's too full they just make sure the foil wraps it all the way. This happens to be the norm at several of the Chipotle restaurants. I just wish Regional or Store Management would just sit back and observe. I have thought about taking a video on several occasions. The food is still good but just be aware that you aren't there to make friends haha. They got the third star only because I really like the food. read more

Let me start off by saying I am a diehard Chipotle fan and my boyfriend and I indulge ourselves at least 4-7 times a month and we do nothing but rave about Chipotle, but this has to be THE WORST Chipotle in Ohio. AVOID THE MONROE CHIPOTLE AT ALL COSTS. This place has such a low rating for a good reason... The place is absolutely disgusting and the service is almost as off putting. Their line always looks like a pigs sty and is a cross contamination nightmare. I am vegan and I have ended up with various meat in my sofritas from this location 4 times now. The food always tastes absolutely disgusting and is the polar opposite of fresh. I have felt ill numerous times after eating Chipotle from this store. Their are no words for how poor their staff are. If you are truly that unhappy working at Chipotle please find another job, don't take it out on your customers. All the staff are so cold, snappy and literally throw your food together. Lastly the store itself is absolutely unacceptable. Have fun dodging trash and half eaten burrito contents on the tables in an attempt to find a "clean" spot to eat. I've dined in and looked at the same mess from the moment I walked in the door until my last bite, completely untouched. I understand this location may be much busier than most given it's across from the outlets, but there are NO excuses for leaving numerous messes sitting for over an HOUR and allowing trash cans to overflow on to the floor. I've questioned food poisoning and bit into steak one to many times here and we will NEVER be back.
