Team member are confused, seating area is in disarray, bathroom is unkept, boxes of supplies in the corner. what else needs to be said. If this is how they maintain their open space, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I am just waiting for a whistle blower to come forward with photos of the kitchen. It is hard to rate the food since I didnt have a complete order but it does taste like Chipotle. so at least it is consistent. I've previously worked at a chipotle location in Indianapolis. I was impressed with the speed at which they cleared the line aswell as communicated the need for ingredients. however I was concerned in the store when I noticed no staff were wearing hair nets despite long hair. when I got home and started eating I quickly found out there was not 1 not 2 but 3 loose hairs throughout my food. knowing the process in how the food is kept and heated/cooked the only way this happened is by it falling in during serving or during prep. both of which would be when a hair net would've prevented this from happening. extremely disappointing as when I worked there and even eaten at different locations I've always expected a high level of attention paid to sanitary conditions and hygiene. this was horrifyingly disgusting and extremely unhygieni. had it been a one time occurrence I might have considered calling it a fluke but the fact I pulled 3 hairs out of my mouth throughout eating my food has entirely prevented me from being able to ever eat at this location or recommend this location ever again. I hope the district manager checks in with this location more often and makes the store manager/managers more concerned with the very horrific hygiene situation at this location. it doesn't matter how quickly and efficiently you are able to work in the food industry if the food you're preparing is a health hazard. hair nets should be a basic requirement and i specifically remember it being covered in the training for ALL members who are touching the food consistently. read more

I've been to this location about four times. Too inconsistent with regards to service quality along with portions. I never get the same serving of rice, beans, or protein. Most recently I ordered a double serving of protein with my bowl and was not impressed. Additionally the steak was chewy, the barbacoa was lacking flavor and this past Friday they ran out of steak! (I actually had forgotten I had reviewed this place previously when I went to review it after this time.( We got a a burrito bowl and a salad. The chicken was SO GROSS AGAIN! It was all chewy and globby/fatty with tendons. There was one piece that I bit into in which I heard a "crunch" and felt pain in my tooth. I pray to God that it was the chicken that crunched and not a root fracture of my tooth. (If my tooth turns gray, we'll know.) It was just so nasty! I ended up picking it all out. This place is literally trash. From horrible customer service to horrible store cleanliness to horrible food quality. I went a couple days ago and had the rudest person making my bowl with an attitude for no reason ? if you are so miserable working there then don't ! simple! I asked for extra protein and was ignored, then when I repeated myself she put the lid on my bowl and gave me extra protein in a little sauce cup, which I was charged $5 and some change for. Which made no sense with the amount of meat that was given. I called and was routed to a customer care representative and was given a buy one get one free entree, so we went back a couple days later to redeem the offer and this is definitely the last straw for us. We ordered two burrito bowls and a burrito to go. Upon coming home and sitting at the dining table to eat, I found a bug on my lettuce halfway through and was immediately disgusted, I called the store to let them know and returned to show them the piece of lettuce with bug on it, seeing the manager asked what kind of bug it was over the phone and immediately crumbled up the ziplock bag without inspecting it when I handed it to him and threw it in the trash right away, I thought that to be very rude as it could have been something toxic. I was in town to visit family and stopped in to get a bowl for dinner. The staff was very unfriendly and acted like it was an inconvenience to even wait on me. The food did not look appetizing but I was starving so ordered my food any way. The food turned out to taste horrible and inedible. I took it back the next day for a refund however I couldn't find my receipt so they wouldn't refund my money even though they are the only chipotle around. Whenever we go to the Midland, TX location on Loop 250, they are invariably out of something like guacamole, taco shells, mild salsa or the chicken will take 30+ mins to be replenished. First time, ever. Do not understand what all the buzz/fuss is about. I had a carnitas burrito with rice, grilled peppers and onions with a bit of lettuce. Add some salsa medio and a soft drink. Food was prepared quickly and served hot. It seemed to me the place was over staffed. We sat down to enjoy our meal in a spartan bar style dining area. I was disappointed, the mix of flavors was muted, couldn't taste the salsa or the carnitas either. Not sure if I'll come back. I prefer Taco Bell for the value and Freebirds for variety.
