To be completely honest I am originally from the DMV. Chipotle in the DMV don't miss! I moved to Macon and was excited to see Chipotle was here as well.... to my disappointment I quickly discovered that this may very well be the worst chipotle in America. They are frequently "out" of food items for the day (even in the earlier parts of the day). The food is under seasoned and very sparse & the staff just seems to not care! One time I went and corporate was there and this was the one and only time all food items were in stock and everything was seasoned correctly. I quickly came to the realization that the staff her does not care. I feel like this Chipotle needs to be completely restarted with people who actually care about customers and know how to appropriately stock and season foods! I had been so excited for my delivery but incredibly disappointed when I received my "salad", which really was 1/2 cup of lettuce, sprinkled cheese, maybe 5 pieces of chicken even though I paid for double, drenched in their hot sauce and sour cream with no queso... My husband and I are frequent visitors of your locations, especially the only one we've found in Macon so you can imagine my disappointment when this location just didn't hit the mark. Generally, you know what you're expecting and get just that at ANY location. That just wasn't the case last week at Macon's Chipotle. I ordered my typical carnitas burrito bowl and it was oddly bland...and that, coming from an individual who prefers bland food! At first, I thought it was just me but my husband quickly commented that his chicken burrito was also bland. A little surprising. We'll try again but hoping this isn't a constant thing. This is my second visit coming in and watching staff cook and clean for going on 40 minutes and has yet to fix a single bowl or wrap. In the midst of this the eco people come in and now they are cleaning even harder instead of preparing food. Yelled out twice please bare with us we are short staffed. I have complained endlessly to the managers, staff, and corporate at this location and the location in Warner Robins about their staff members neglecting to wash their hands before preparing food. The young lady left the cash register and began preparing food. I asked her not to prepare mine because she didn't wash before putting on gloves. The cook came back from a break outside popped on some gloves and began grilling chicken. Another person who was sitting in the lobby eating went back to prepping food without washing his hands. Some may not mind, but there is a continuous pattern of the staff not washing their hands at Chipotle and I do mind. Stopped in while traveling back from a school event with my youngest. We tend to hit Chipotle or Moe's when road tripping. The food was about average for a Chipotle, pretty good and about what you would expect. The servers were very friendly even though they were busy. I would caution you to check the chips on your "to go" order before you are already five miles down the road. My youngest ordered some and when he finally got around to them, we found them to be very stale and they also didn't give too many in the bag. If the chips were free, this would be just a bit annoying but if you are going to charge extra for what most places give away, they should be substantially better. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE!! The server gave me two half scoops of chicken and called it double. When I protested, the server (Brittany I think) refused to correct the issue. So I asked for another bowl to which they told me to leave or they would call the police. I have an original signed contract from operations director, Michael Brown from this Chipotle Restaurant for a discount to be used as part of a fundraising coupon program. Michael Brown signed it personally and the discount (50% off purchase) and coupon policy was confirmed from one of our school principals how the coupon worked. When asking Mr Brown if he was sure he wanted to offer 50% off total purchase, because that seemed high to us, he stated that he wanted to generate business. After leaving the contract with Mr. Brown for his review he signed it and submitted it for the fundraiser. Let me just say Michael Brown knew exactly what he was signing. Chipotle was added to the coupon book and sold as part of a fundraiser for a non profit group. After a couple of the coupons were honored, Michael Brown stopped letting the coupons already sold be honored at the store. When I called and asked about it, Michael Brown gave me many excuses(didn't know what he was signing, didn't know how the coupons worked, he never signed anything, yadda yadda yadda). Once I put all of his lies to rest with facts, he then said that corporate wouldn't honor the coupon because it wasn't in the correct format even though he provided his personal business card for info and logo to be used. He finally said he wasn't honoring the coupon and that we could do whatever we needed to but he wasn't honoring it. After a letter from our school attorney in which he gave no repose, we are left with a lying operations manager who broke the law but knows it will cost our small group more $ and time than we have the resources to go to court. Would love to have an attorney take this pro-Bono and help the little guy against corporate America. I have all original signed documents and letters sent. CHIPOTLE will never see my shadow in any of their stores and I plan to spread the word. MICHAEL BROWN IS A VERY POOR EXAMPLE OF WHAT LEADERSHIP IS AND SHOULD BE! I have made three orders from this location but will never order from them again. The first time, I ordered a bowl for pickup through DoorDash. When I arrived, my food was cold & incorrectly made but I assumed it was because I ordered through a third party app. The second time I ordered, I got a bowl from pickup through the Chipotle app and tipped 50% ahead of time. I arrived fifteen minutes after I got the notification of my food being ready for pickup but when I arrived, it wasnt ready AND the store did not have one of the ingredients available. This time, I assumed it was because I had arrived less than twenty minutes before they closed. Today, however, was the last straw. I again ordered a bowl for pickup through the Chipotle app and tipped 50% ahead of time. I waited to place my order until I was in the parking lot. My order was marked as ready and on the pickup shelves at 4:40pm. I entered the store at 4:42pm and there were no orders on the shelves. There was already people waiting for pickup orders. By the time an employee was handing me my order, it was 4:57pm. Don't say the order is ready for pickup at the shelves when it's not even ready. I gave two stars instead of one because the restaurant has always been clean including the bathrooms. I always get my food to-go so I don't know how it is eating in but there's not much they can screw up once they've handed you your food. read more

I walked in and they're using these tiny little plastic bowls and saying they're the same size as their usual paper containers. Even if they stack these things and overfilled them they wouldn't equal the same amount of food that would go in the usual paper containers. Very disappointed in this location!!! This restaurants posted hours are 10:45 AM to 10 PM... I placed a DoorDash order at 9:17 PM on January 6, 2020... When my driver arrived they told her there was no food left to provide the three tacos Guacamole and chips that I ordered... This is unacceptable business practice...The fact of the matter is these people just wanted to get out of there right on time and it started breaking things down before they probably should have... Wrapping up a multi-state road trip with a girl I met on Tinder, we decided to stop here coming back from Tybee Island with our final destination of Nashville, so quite a way to go in our travels. We walk in and the establishment is essentially a ghost town, not typical for ANY chipotle restaurant. She orders first, then I go next. I get my usual, and the server behind the glass kept having me repeat myself. Kevin: "I'll have brown rice, please." Chipotle employee: "OK." *pauses* "Which rice?" K: *stares blankly* UGGGHH holy crap this is so incredibly simple. Stop making your job hard and just pay attention. They don't give generous portions at all, and I had to raise my voice at her when it came time to serve up salsa. (Almost gave me mild, which is disgusting.) They messed up tinderella's order, too. But she's a real sweetheart and didn't complain. The food was NOT up to chipotle standards at all, on either my meal or my tinderella traveler. In every other location when I do this I can walk in and just pick my order up like I'm supposed to be able to. This is my 4th time ordering online here and it has NEVER ever, not even once, been ready for me. I'm waiting for it right now as I type this- it would've been faster to wait in line like everyone else. It makes no sense. I love chipotles philosophy, rejection of abused American pork, and their food. I don't know if it's this location, or the whole chain which is getting worse. I do know I am getting less and less meat and veggies, and being served by people who are too often very unfriendly and angry. Ate here on a Tuesday night. Outside seating was full. Inside was clean and sparkly. This is like a combination of Moe's and Five Guys Burgers (which is just around the corner). Food was like Moe's -- bowls are like baskets passed down an assembly line. Big burritos. They have something called a carnita but I had no idea what that was. A photo of the menu items on the wall would be helpful. Setting is like Five Guy's. Food was fresh. Ordered guac on my steak burrito bowl and was pleased to get a large serving (guac costs more). Not a lot of choices, limited menu. But my food (including the guac) was good. This place will do fine because it's the only Mexican food in the neighborhood. Not easy to see from Tom Hill road. It's next to Panda Express, which is more visible. Chipotle needs better signage or tourists won't find it. read more
