Chipotle on Fannin in the Texas Medical Center is open later than any other eatery on the "restaurant row". Same standard of quality and customer service. Nice staff with a clean area and fresh ingredients! There is outdoor seating as well as the booths and the barstools facing outside. Clean enough, I probably came right after the rush hour because while the table I chose to sit at was clean enough, but not recently wiped clean/sterilized. Went in on 06/23/26 around 4:30 pm . When you walked up to the first host, there was a big puddle of water on the floor. Went to get my drinks, and there was no ice in the machine and no forks, spoons, or knives. there was also ice they on the floor, and no one picked it up read more

Just purchased a meal and an employee whose name I did not get but I'll say he has "locs and a chipped tooth" decides to makes smart comments to his colleague about my purchase, I believe everyone should maintain a sense of professionalism regardless of what position you hold and if you have issues with having a kids meal on your menu you should speak to management not talking crap in front of a customer. Chipolte is chipolte. Not sure anyone even reads reviews before going but if you do then consider going to another Chipolte or somewhere else. The serving size for the meat and rice were much lower than any other location I've been to. Another lady also commented in line and the cashier/what looked like the manager said that it's a "single serving side and most chipotle's put too much." It definitely could have used more. Also the chips were really stale like they have been sitting for awhile. Still gave 3 stars because location is convenient if here for medical appointments and the staff was friendly. read more

While this restaurant is pretty immaculate in cleanliness, they suffer in terms of consistency, quality, and service. I placed a pick-up order to have a fast experience getting my food during a busy day. When I got to the pick-up shelf, I saw that they don't even put your orders on the shelf! They just keep them in the back, making it super inconvenient to get your order. Several of us waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to come to the back to give us our orders. This does affect quality as our food is getting cold just sitting there. I got their new garlic guajillo steak bowl, expecting a great experience. The steak was not good. It was inedible, tough, and too chewy to even eat. Unfortunately the proportions are also way off. I received almost no steak in the entire bowl! It was mostly just rice. Overall this Chipotle doesn't hit the mark in terms of service and quality, which are 2 hugely important aspects in the restaurant business. My boyfriend came back to me from chipotle to the hospital bc we are having our first born together & he tells me he experienced rude customer service from a guy by the to-go station. My boyfriend had headphones in & showed the guy his phone & order & before he got to take his headphones off, the guy said "what you can't talk?" & my boyfriend responded "I'm sorry I'm just really tired & my girlfriend is at the hospital about to give birth" & the guy responded back saying "yeah yeah whatever". For someone to be working across multiple hospitals in the medical center should care a lot more about who he is serving to. So many people are at the hospital for different reasons & people are just coming to get some food to refuel. Not to be treated unkindly especially in an area where people are experiencing so many emotions or even physically not feeling okay. I hope the manager sees this & brings awareness to the staff about the area & people they are in & serving to. Solid lunch option in the Medical Center! I usually come here when I get tired of the food at Methodist. The lunch lines are pretty long, but the staff get you in and out pretty quickly. The food is pretty consistent from visit to visit. The chicken and rice are consistently up to par along with the different salsas. The staff here also don't skimp out on the portion sizes like at some other locations. I always get heaping portions when I get my mandatory double meat. Overall, I am very happy with this Chipotle! I've been here at least 10 times and I always leave happy and satisfied. read more

Most people who come here work in the med center. I'm also not sure where you would be able to park since AFAIK all the nearby garages are paid garages, and there isn't really street parking. For the uninitiated, Chipotle is a build-your-own burrito/taco/bowl joint. You go down an assembly line and add ingredients (eg rice, beans, meats, salsa, cheese, etc). As far as quality/speed, it's on par with any other chipotle I've been to. I usually opt for online order so that it's ready for me when I get there. read more

I went here for lunch with my husband yesterday. I got a bowl which included no rice, beans, faijtas, chicken, corn and tomato salsa, cheese, guac and lettuce. The reason why I give this location two stars is because they literally gave me a pinch of cheese between their two fingers. When I asked for extra cheese, I got maybe three additional strands of cheese. I love the cheese here and it just made me sad that they're withholding it from me. When I told them I'd pay for a side of it, I got yelled at that it would cost additional money. I let them know I understood that and that I'm willing to pay... Have you had your Vitamin B today? B is for Burrito. The jewel of the crown that is fine dining in the world famous Texas Medical Centre (TMC) proper. This was the first place I ate at my first time working in TMC back in the aughts. And then again years later with St God's, it just makes sense to eat here because it is always a flawless experience. They make a mean burrito that is appropriately stuffed balls to the walls with the good stuff (steak) rather than the cheap, frilly lettuce. Consider the tortilla to be permanently touched with the undetectable extension charm because it always holds more food than your eyes tell you it does. Unlike other locations (Shepherd) where routinely there is so little filling you can just tie off the left over tortilla and use it again and again to make other new burritos. Yes, that was a Dave Attell reference, you're welcome. Yes, the line sometimes reaches out onto Fannin. Because everyone and their grandmother knows this is the hot spot, this is where burrito magic happens. Seriously when there is a good burrito nearby who wants to deal with another Starbucks, McDonalds, or Subway? Nobody. That is why the line is out on the street and everyone looks miserable for being in line, but nobody leaves even if it is raining and their scrubs are getting wet it doesn't matter - cuz burrito. Considering the line hits the street and eventually gets dispatched out into the world again with a burrito (or bowl) in tow they do keep things moving. But if you are in the back of the line, you have a wait cut out for you. Unlike back in the aughts with just a dumb flip phone, now there is iPhone to do iThings with. #success Unless you have the time/energy/Qcard funds to burn to get on the light rail and head downtown (or call the audible and go to Bodega's several stops earlier) or to get in your car and drive to Antone's (8057 Kirby) this is by far the best lunch option you are lucky to have available to you. It's been a couple of months since I've come here for dinner. I came back tonight and wow was it worth it!!! The new staff that works here likes to pile on the ingredients. The last couple of times I came I walked away still hungry because they barely stuffed my burrito. Their new crew hooks it up. I saw the person in front of me get chicken AND steak. So I was like I want that too. No extra charge. I added in chips and salsa, definite NO NO. This burrito was a monster.
