Just a side note, Chipotle is a chain store. They really cannot control the costs(to those complaining about the cost of Chipotle). Although yes, it's a bit more expensive than fast food, they use healthy ingredients from local farms-which I believe is worth the few extra bucks. The service is fast, friendly, and fun. I highly recommend the Hastings Chipotle. read more

Normally, I prefer authentic Mexican cuisine, but I can't complain about the food here. My favorite is always the fajita bowls with Carnitas, and I often add an extra portion of steak to my bowl. The food is good for fast food, and the service is always friendly. I do feel a bit bad since there's no tip option when paying with a card. read more

We were at Chipotle around 5:00pm on 9/24/25. I ordered a GF buritto bowl, to go. The only efforts at GF were that the worker washed her hands, and changed her gloves. When putting my bowl together, she didn't talk to me, smile or even look at me. I was very clear on what I wanted in my bowl; I got NO Carnita at all. NO MEAT?! When I got home and finally tasted my food, it was very spicy hot. I am always careful not to have anything spicy hot in my food!!! Besides getting my order totally wrong, this same worker prepared my husband's bowl, and kept him waiting 10 mins. for his protein, when it was in front of her all along. The line was backed up at the cash register, because the poor worker couldn't count change correctly. Customers were getting angry, on top of all of this, there was a guy working in the kitchen who kept coming out and getting in the way of everyone in back of the counter trying to do their jobs (and i think he was enjoying causing chaos. The kitchen worker was actually threatening to the cashier - I thought there was going to be a fight. We will not be back at that Chipotle in Hastings any time soon. I would not recommend it to anyone, since i can't recommend the food, service or the ambiance! I hope for the sakes of the workers who were actually trying to do a decent job, that all the problems we encountered is not the norm! Cyndi Z read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - People waiting - Mexican Near Me - Hastings, Minnesota

Once upon a time I would have given 5 stars but the best people are gone. The food is fresh and delicious! But the staff is pretty slow. They will add anything you want to the burrito even if it is not listed that way. I get fajita veg on my chicken burrito, for example. I order the food online, hoping to be able to walk in, pay for it and pick it up without waiting too long. Sometimes it still is not ready when I get there. In fact, sometimes they are so busy that they didn't get a chance to see that there was an online order placed. read more

Not all Chipotle's are created equal. The food line is always missing ingredients. And the cashier consistently, and I mean consistently charges me incorrectly. This time I was charged for extra chicken i didnt order, and last time I paid in cash and and the cashier says "I don't remember what bill you paid with. Is a $5 bill back ok? I literally had to help her do 3rd grade Addition so I could get my change back. read more

The restaurant was dirty, employees wearing hats but hair hanging out of their hats everywhere, out of cheese (and she kept yelling 'WE ARE OUT OF CHEESE!!!), everyone seems angry.... And dirty. Did I say the restaurant was dirty?? Love Chipotle, but not this location. read more

This Chipotle consistently screws up my order. My husband and I are doing Whole 30 and ordered Whole 30 salads. On two different occasions they have added ingredients which are not Whole 30 approved. They have also taken an online order when they were out of ingredients. When I went to pick it up (at the scheduled time) they told it would be 45mins. When I canceled my order I have the call the customer service number to get a refund. Go anywhere else except here. read more

We were eating at the location in Hastings, MN and noticed a particular employee who was very friendly and busily engaged the entire time. He went from taking our order to wiping off tables, refilling drinks and then in the back to food prep. We asked him his name so we could put in a good word to his manager. We laughed when he said he was the manager. He was so humble, hardworking and kind. Now THAT is leadership in it's finest. Well done, Rodrigo Martinez Reyes! read more

This is one of the better chipotles that I've been to. The place is always busy when I go, no matter what time it is. Parking is kind or weird but I like the seating options. The staff is friendly and quick. They're also one of the Chipotles that serve margaritas as well. Also there's a dedicated PU window for their fax in orders. read more

Well if your online order says 6:10 you should go pick it up at 7, slowest service I've ever seen. Wouldn't wait that long for a thousand dollars and if you want hot meat your not getting here either. I would have gave it half a star if I could. read more

My husband went to get us dinner tonight here and when he was there ordering for him and I, they put pico de gallo on my burrito and he clearly said queso. He doesn't like to waste food so he didn't have them make a new burrito because he will have it for lunch tomorrow. But now I am out of dinner. Next, he got chips and queso and the chips we received are literally stale. Now we paid $28.92 and we would rather have went someplace else for that price. I don't think we'll be back to this facility again. read more

Chipotle... Never again! Last three visits to a Chipotle have been disasters! First waiting for food a month ago in Rosemount for 45 minutes, then Hastings for a half hour recently. Now, I have picked up 3 tacos to go and take a look... barely any meat in them. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

After getting food poisoning here in 2014, I have abstained from chipotle as a whole for several years. DoorDash has limited options in my area so I caved and ordered from here--super unimpressed. The carnitas I got were wadded together and plain, my wife's dish was missing several additions to the point that she didn't even have rice, and had a slab of what we THINK was tortilla in her bowl. Booo. read more

Something is seriously up with how small the portions are, especially the meat. This is a new issue because I didn't notice it before, but the last two times I've been like WHAT?! It's less than half of what a normal portion should be. They can't be doing that. Just give the people what they pay for. It's seriously noticeable. I wouldn't do any type of mobile order for this reason. read more

Big burritos that are full of fresh and tasty ingredients. The only downside is that they need to create a tasty chipotle BBQ sauce to go with their pork carnitas. A bit pricey on their guac and chips also. Overall a good place for Tex Mex and if you need to fill up your stomach on a pinch. read more

I love Chipotle to death and so I'm kinda picky when it comes to the level of service and whatnot. This chipotle is just fine. It's fast food so service is quick, pretty standard as far as food freshness and availability goes. My boyfriend wanted to buy a drink and I mentioned I don't feel like paying almost $2 for soda and the cashier gave us a cup for free which was SUPER NICE! Comparatively, I haven't seen this chipotle to be as busy as other ones that I'm used to but I'm sure it can be. All in all, it's still fast food and so you just expect that and nothing more. read more

As much as I would hate for Hastings not to have a chipotle, this is by far the worst chipotle location I have ever experienced. We have had multiple issues with our pickup orders from here and there is no consistency in the quality or quantity of food. The last two times we ordered here our bowls were extremely light and it was almost laughable how little meat they included. Tonight I ordered double meat and when I got home and opened it up, I still received less than what normally would be a single serving and they forgot half of the ingredients even though they were correctly printed on the label. Super frustrating when I paid over $15 for that bowl. I don't know if they are cost cutting or just can't find good help but there are definitely issues here. read more

The last couple times I have visited it seems this place is getting worse. For starters every time I have went to this location the guacamole has a lot of brown in it. For the cost of guac you figured it could at least be green. On another occasion the employees were arguing with each other. The young lady told the cook to stop preparing so much meat in advance, he had like 4 containers of steak sitting on the counter. His loud ass response was do you want to cook it? It was pretty awkward. read more

Bad. My mom and I stopped in for a quick late afternoon snack but left after a member of the front line tossed a grey colored Croc shoe across the food preparation counter which landed near the food. We left immediately. I called twice to speak with a manager but was only able to reach voicemail. 5 other customers witnessed the event but since Panera closed there aren't many options I guess. Disgusting. read more

No surprises here, it is chipotle. I love the carnitas but an extra $1.80 for guacamole is a bit much.
