Normally, I prefer authentic Mexican cuisine, but I can't complain about the food here. My favorite is always the fajita bowls with Carnitas, and I often add an extra portion of steak to my bowl. We were at Chipotle around 5:00pm on 9/24/25. I ordered a GF buritto bowl, to go. The only efforts at GF were that the worker washed her hands, and changed her gloves. When putting my bowl together, she didn't talk to me, smile or even look at me. I was very clear on what I wanted in my bowl; I got NO Carnita at all. NO MEAT?! When I got home and finally tasted my food, it was very spicy hot. I am always careful not to have anything spicy hot in my food!!! Besides getting my order totally wrong, this same worker prepared my husband's bowl, and kept him waiting 10 mins. for his protein, when it was in front of her all along. The line was backed up at the cash register, because the poor worker couldn't count change correctly. Customers were getting angry, on top of all of this, there was a guy working in the kitchen who kept coming out and getting in the way of everyone in back of the counter trying to do their jobs (and i think he was enjoying causing chaos. The kitchen worker was actually threatening to the cashier - I thought there was going to be a fight. We will not be back at that Chipotle in Hastings any time soon. I would not recommend it to anyone, since i can't recommend the food, service or the ambiance! I'm sorry but the chipotle in Hastings is terrible every time I go in there they act like you're not standing right there Tonight I came in to get a burrito and they were doing online I just stood there they used up all the white rice and said oh I'm sorry I hope you're not looking for white rice because they're not making any more tonight when I go in I ask one a double burrito with double white rice and you have to keep saying I want a double not a little kids size come on The prices that they charge everywhere in the world they should at least give you something for your money and I don't even eat that the place it's my kids read more

Once upon a time I would have given 5 stars but the best people are gone. The food is fresh and delicious! But the staff is pretty slow. They will add anything you want to the burrito even if it is not listed that way. I get fajita veg on my chicken burrito, for example. I order the food online, hoping to be able to walk in, pay for it and pick it up without waiting too long. Sometimes it still is not ready when I get there. Not all Chipotle's are created equal. The food line is always missing ingredients. And the cashier consistently, and I mean consistently charges me incorrectly. This Chipotle consistently screws up my order. My husband and I are doing Whole 30 and ordered Whole 30 salads. On two different occasions they have added ingredients which are not Whole 30 approved. They have also taken an online order when they were out of ingredients. When I went to pick it up (at the scheduled time) they told it would be 45mins. We were eating at the location in Hastings, MN and noticed a particular employee who was very friendly and busily engaged the entire time. He went from taking our order to wiping off tables, refilling drinks and then in the back to food prep. We asked him his name so we could put in a good word to his manager. My husband went to get us dinner tonight here and when he was there ordering for him and I, they put pico de gallo on my burrito and he clearly said queso. He doesn't like to waste food so he didn't have them make a new burrito because he will have it for lunch tomorrow. But now I am out of dinner. Next, he got chips and queso and the chips we received are literally stale. Now we paid $28.92 and we would rather have went someplace else for that price. Just a side note, Chipotle is a chain store. They really cannot control the costs(to those complaining about the cost of Chipotle). Big burritos that are full of fresh and tasty ingredients. The only downside is that they need to create a tasty chipotle BBQ sauce to go with their pork carnitas. I love Chipotle to death and so I'm kinda picky when it comes to the level of service and whatnot. This chipotle is just fine. It's fast food so service is quick, pretty standard as far as food freshness and availability goes. My boyfriend wanted to buy a drink and I mentioned I don't feel like paying almost $2 for soda and the cashier gave us a cup for free which was SUPER NICE! Comparatively, I haven't seen this chipotle to be as busy as other ones that I'm used to but I'm sure it can be. As much as I would hate for Hastings not to have a chipotle, this is by far the worst chipotle location I have ever experienced. We have had multiple issues with our pickup orders from here and there is no consistency in the quality or quantity of food. The last two times we ordered here our bowls were extremely light and it was almost laughable how little meat they included. Tonight I ordered double meat and when I got home and opened it up, I still received less than what normally would be a single serving and they forgot half of the ingredients even though they were correctly printed on the label. Super frustrating when I paid over $15 for that bowl. I don't know if they are cost cutting or just can't find good help but there are definitely issues here. read more

The last couple times I have visited it seems this place is getting worse. For starters every time I have went to this location the guacamole has a lot of brown in it. For the cost of guac you figured it could at least be green. On another occasion the employees were arguing with each other.
