The restaurant was filthy. Every single table was dirty. The floors were dirty, the soda area was dirty and the guacamole was very brown. We got there at 11:11. That is 11 minutes after they opened. I would say customer service can be improved in this location. The lettuce was not nicely chopped as other locations. It' got was busy around 1400 in which went on a Saturday. Restroom are out of service. The guy putting my order on pick up area had so much attitude and was not polite at all. I always said it if people don't want to work in a place then they should quit instead of making customers feel unsatisfied with their experience. Also it was very warm in the place and they need the ACE running with a small building that is packed and constantly having cooking occurring. read more

The worst. We went in, go to order our food from what was left. No cheese, no pico, no corn salsa, no steak. Literally nothing to choose from. Get to the check out with our sad little bowls and there's all of this fresh product to the side. We ask if we can have some corn salsa and cheese since it's right there ready to go. We get told no, it's for online orders only. We paid $70 only because my husband is nice. I would have walked. This is unacceptable. Paying customers, in store or online should get what is available. Chipotle has always been a reliable source of lunch/dinner impulse shopping. I always think my wife likes their food way more than I, but once I dip into my burrito bowl or tacos I suddenly remember what a fan I actually am! However, a couple of days ago, after we were waved off of our intended errand - Walmart- due to long lines to even get in, I knew I had to do something to assuage my wife's s grief from not entering a store after days of being stuck in isolation at home. She even had put on lipstick (though covered by her cloth mask). I ran in and picked up two burrito bowls. One chicken and one pork. First they were out of the corn to put on top. And when we got home and opened them up, serving ourselves using real plates and silverware, we were shocked to find the fattiest pork ever. It tasted like soap! Nasty! So, skip the pork and onto the chicken. It and all the ingredients just did not seem fresh. It was dried out and tough little chunks. All that to say I will think twice before giving in to my impulses next time I drive by Chipotle; just keep driving! read more

This place.... I don't think I've ever gone there that it hasn't had all of the menu options available. It doesn't matter if it's for lunch or at dinner time. Always out of something. Today it was 1 o'clock when I stopped by and they were completely out of steak AND babacoa beef. Do they not know about backup pans especially during peak busy times? I love Chipotle but the one in Farmington, NM needs to do better. It is no exaggeration to say that every time I go to this Chipotle they are out of something! Today they are out of Tomato Salsa, Guacamole and Lettuce. Last time they were out of Lettuce and Sour Cream and the time before that they were out of guacamole and lettuce. I just don't understand! Why is every time I go in here all the tables are dirty with food and drink all over them and food and trash all over the floor? I know the customer can be lazy, but what about the employees that are standing behind the counter, visiting and looking at their phones? Went in last night and every table was dirty, food and napkins all over the floor, and only one other customer sitting at another table. I got a napkin to clean the table and seat where I was going to sit. Three employees, 2 customers, and no one makes any effort to come clean up the seating area. The girl working at the register walked over to the soda machine a few times, looked at it then turned back around and went back to the register (no customers-still just me and another gentleman), As for the food I was very disappointed last night. In the past I have always had a bowl with rice, chicken which is normally nice and moist, but dried out tonight, pico, corn and lettuce that was at least half way full. I always have difficulty eating the entire serving. Last night was so skimpy I left hungry and disappointed at the laziness of the staff in cleaning up the eating area for customers, especially since they were not busy and more interested in their cell phones. read more

I've been into this restaurant 3 times now. Food is pretty fresh and I'm always greeted with a smile. Not a long wait which is surprising because the food and service is good. I've had a couple of their shredded pork soft tacos and the last two times I ordered their bowls. I inquired about a military discount and was informed they don't offer one but since I asked they took care of me. All three times. If your going to be ignorant your probably going to get the same back so be kind. Sugar gets you a lot further. read more

I needed a non-greasy fresh bite and came here. I often go to other places because I don't live here but visit. Was excited to come here! And then...my food was like half a spoon of toppings including the main ingredient to veggie bowls, the rice and beans! At least the chips weren't stale the smell in here was. I was so excited to see Farmington finally getting a Chipotle. I was going to give them some time to get into the swing of things as they just opened this January, but each time I have been it has been interesting and I have left rather frustrated. I have been 3 times since they opened and each time the employees were rather stressed and not so friendly. They seemed checked out and in such a rush that it made me feel unimportant and they seem angry. My first visit- i ordered 2 burritos bowls and the employees were shoving the food down the assembly line so quickly it was getting mixed up with orders ahead. There was sides of Queso and salsa that they didn't know who's order it went with and they ended up rushing me to choose the salsa I wanted and what not. I did not like that as I didn't even get a second to think or even ask a question. I did ask for a taco shell on the side and the girl at register acted like I was ruining her day. The cashier handed me my card back and never said a word to me, I said "Thanks have a good one" with zero reply. I found this very rude. I have gotten the burrito bowl each time and the Barbacoa seems off or more fatty than a lot of other chipotles I have been to. I don't know if it's prepped too far in advance or not correctly but it is unlike other locations in different cities I have visited. I purchased chips my second visit and they were stale. I lived in a city with a brand new chipotle that did so well and the meat, temperatures, and customer service was excellent and consistent. Costa vida is fresh, consistent and friendly and I currently prefer them in Farmington until things could improve. They do open at 10:45am which is convenient for lunch. There is plenty of seating inside as well. Time can only tell and they are learning but I hope it gets better and workers start enjoying their job. read more

Food was cold, chicken was dry and burnt, steak had huge pieces of fat mixed in with it. Staff also seemed rather clueless and not the best at making eye contact or communicating. I may give them another try in a few months to see if there are any improvements, but for now I'll be sticking with Costa Vida. read more

They haven't been open long but no excuses. Slow service. The employees act like they hate being there, especially the cashiers with nasty looks on their faces. Food was luke warm at best. Employees in the kitchen are eating food off the grill as they cook it and chewing it hard. The soda machine isn't working. They should tell you they have no soda before you get in the long line. I think everyone would agree that people that go to Chipotle are generally people that care about their food and how it is prepared. As soon as I walked into this Chipotle and came up to the counter, the girl working there picked up scraps of lettuce that had landed where they keep the salad dressing and tossed it back into the lettuce bowl. Now, this might not seem like much but it really grossed me out and I couldn't help but think of what other scraps of food landing in different places or on different surfaces harboring various germs, were they ok with tossing back into the food they are serving customers? I would have turned around to leave but I was with someone and didn't want to disappoint him so another girl served me salad for a different lettuce bowl but it didn't really make a difference because it could have had all kinds of things in it that I just didn't happen to observe being tossed back in. To me, it just calls into question their standard of cleanliness and turns me off. read more
