Do all chipotle franchise owners have a secret betting pool to see whose location can be the most filthy AND see how empty and burnt on the remnants of the hot held beans and proteins can be when people are shopping with their eyes and deciding what to order waiting on an interminable line as only one person is working while 3 stand there clearly not cleaning tables or service areas? When I hit the powerball, I swear I am going to open a chipotle. Get it up and running. And manage it for exactly one day to prove cleanliness and food service standards can be achieved. Then, after taking photos, I will gift it to someone who really wants to run one. Food was fine. Portions very good. Had to choose my third choice in protein as they were out of the first two by 830pm and I wasn't interested in "waiting for them to fire more" when the other member of my party had his meal. Factor in $25 a person now for price. It's like an abusive relationship (every single location), I come in hoping today/this time will be better. But it never is. I'm going to keep coming, but I've resigned myself to getting some garbage-born illness at some point when trying to get a drinking straw. read more

The first thing was the filthy tables. They were not busy and everyone standing around. I told them that the tables were filthy and somebody went to clean them. My son's girlfriend had gluten-free and there was one scoop of burnt chicken and corn. We got charged full price and she had nothing else in the bowl. Chicken was burnt and the lettuce wasn't shredded like usual it was big leaves and it was wilted. We should've left, but everybody was hungry.. now just hoping we don't get sick. read more

Stopped here to grab lunch for my daughter and her mother. I had a list. I don't care for Chipotle but decided to get myself a burrito too instead of making another stop. It was lunchtime, but I was the only person in line. I ordered a burrito, with mild sauce and a bowl. My problem is this, if you're taking orders, maybe you should focus on making one item at a time. They kept asking if there was anything else, anything else, anything else? The other guy that was adding sour cream and mild sauce was asking me at the same time, anything else? I got the food, got home and sure enough, put hot sauce on the burritos instead of mild sauce. I get it, not THAT big of a deal, suck it up and just eat the burritos. But this is the simplest ask when it's such a basic part of the order taking. PAY ATTENTION! People don't understand how a simple mistake can leave a lasting impression. I never liked chipotle, overrated and pretentious. Second time I've ever walked in that place and this will be the last time. No! The burrito was inedible! I go to different chipotle locations all the time, and this was one of the worst I've ever been to. The rice was unseasoned, the guacamole was brown, and the containers of food were nearly empty and looked like they had been sitting there for hours without replacement. The staff's behavior was embarrassing--they laughed and sat on their phones while we waited in line (alone, with nobody else in the store) for 10 minutes before one of them came over to take our orders; they even would occasionally would look up at us standing in line, whisper to one another, and then laugh before looking back down at their phones. Once we got our food, I found a piece of PLASTIC in mine (pictured). This was a terrible Chipotle experience and management desperately needs to step in. read more

Garbages overflowing, 3hrs from closing and they are out of sour cream and running very low on everything else. I don't frequent chipotle often but I happened to visit this location 2x in the last few weeks. Both times it was extremely dirty. There was sauce and meat/cheese between the pans and nothing was being wiped or sanitized. The staff at the register was talking amongst themselves and being rude to the staff serving, whispering under their breath "watch her portions". I can't imagine how dirty it is in the back of its that bad in front. I also can't imagine how rude the staff would be as well if the customers weren't present. The food was for my son. What bothered me the most was the utter disrespect a particular employee was giving to multiple customers. Never tried Chipotles and we were willing to give it a try. Placed the order online for pick up in Manchester, CT. Ordered 2 Carne Asada Bowls with extra fajita veggies and also paid the $6.75 for the EXTRA Carne Asada for one of the bowls. Both were missing the veggies and the EXTRA Carne Asada was NOT added. (That bowl actually had less steak than the other). The bowl which should of had the EXTRA Carne Asada had hard, crunchy uncooked white rice. We've had better Burrito bowls going through the drive thru, for a lot less. Would not recommend! What a waste of $$$ read more

I had gone in for my first time ever trying chipotle. i ordered white rice, black beans, hot sauce, steak, cheese, lettuce, and guacamole. i believe that was all in the bowl, with a side of chips. first of all my steak was very fatty, was unable to eat any of the meat. secondly, i had tried to eat the guacamole in my bowl. i had ended up having a piece of the stem of the avocado in my bowl. i was trying to eat and then i bit into something hard. i look at it and its a small brown circle. i dont believe it would be anything else other than the stem of the avocado. thirdly, i had gotten a side of chips. big mistake. my chips were stale. the only way i will ever give chipotle business again would be if i were compensated for this extremely disappointing visit read more

Hello. I am sorry, but management needs to take in consideration that their food and the appearance of the restaurant needs to look better. It looks very unappealing and the appearance of the store looks run down and dirty. The tables are not cleaned and then when you go to order from the food line, the food looks old and dried up. Stir the food up make it look appealing to the customer and also to have at least all of the items that are offered on your menu ready. How do you not have cooked vegetables ready? And it won't be ready 20 minutes. Come on vegetables? It's not meat. One of the girls serving has an snappy attitude when I asked how long for the vegetables to be out. Stopped in this location on a long road trip. Their interior is modern and up-to-date (like most chipotles). Their facilities were extremely clean. No trash, food, napkins left on tables or the floor. They had a hand sanitizer station near their drink/silverware bar, which was a nice addition. They offer a variety or seating both interior and exterior. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their customer service was on point and they operated very efficiently. I was able to order and get my food in under 2 minutes. Overall this is a great location just off of 91 for a quick meal. Glad I was able to get something that wasn't a greasy, fried, drive thru concoction. read more

This was my first chipotle experience. As I had company from out of town they suggested to try it. Unfortunately it was a disaster walking in, the place looked run down, like they are still fixing up the place (?) The trash can was full. We had to wait in a long line againstthe wall. They kept running out of ingredients. The service line was very messy, food spilled everywhere on the counter top. No signs of what was what or even available because the bins were so low couldn't see. Esp for a first timer I wasn't sure what to try out. The staff seemed busy but just wasn't up to par to clean or have ingredients available. And they close at 10pm? This was at 7pm when we went. I felt disgusted tryin to eat my burrito knowing how the place looked and how the staff was. They just seemed sloppy and didn't care of the well being how the food was being handled. I believe it was a manager who was spooning chicken over from the To-Go side. It just wasn't adequate. Prob my first and last time there at this Enfield location. Disappointed, this location used to be delicious before but now it's just going downhill. The chips I recieved was mixed with SEVERELY stale and okay. This tells me that the chips most likely aren't changed and left out since the air makes chips stale. Plus, all the salt was at the bottom even after I shook it. One of my burritos had a huge piece of onion in it when i didn't order that expecially since i'm allergic to onions. The rest of my order was fine despite the WHOLE order being cold. I don't know what has happened to this location but for food that i didn't order to be in the food that i did order multiple times is very messy and rushy. customers would prefer the food to be made neatly and late than messy and quick. Hopefully this gets fixed soon but until then I wont be eating here anytime soon. read more

We swung by on a Friday evening on our way up north. It was a bit later, so we wanted a quick meal before getting back on the road. Service was efficient. A team of basketball players from a private school showed up at the same time, but the staff dealt with the orders quickly. We didn't have a long wait at all. Food was good! As were the portion sizes. My bowl could have used a little extra spice, but I tend to like things on the hotter side. I've never been to a chipotle that the prep area was just messy and gross but I have now. What's worse is they weren't even busy, just two of us in there. Items were cross contaminated into other food bins, the guac was straight up BROWN. The chicken in the bowls was crunchy and definitely not fresh in the slightest. The service was absolutely trash, the two guys working the front have no customer service skills nor work ethic. This was my first time to a chipolte. I have been watching it's stock these last 2 years and am familiar with issues the chain has had. I am not sure if this location is a true representation of all stores. I'll make some comments. The location was on the end of 3 stores. It had two doors to enter through. I entered directly into the eating space where the second store went into the line. I saw a dimly lit space. Dark concrete floors, institutional S/S tables and dangling modern Led or Halygon lighting. The tables were empty and all a mess with rice and shredded cheese in them. I almost walked out. Most places don't have you walking through their tables. Dark and dirty with plywood screwed up on the walls. It being a rainy day the place looked cold, dark and dreary. No imagination! No color! Cramped! I was so disappointed. Why would I want to eat there? I stated to sample the food. Menus board seemed hard to read. They served beer? That was hidden and not easily noticed. He menu seemed not to accentuate what they offered. They might have had more colorful photos of what they cooked. Pork? Oh, maybe say what the word is in Spanish? The portions were excellent. The pace very fast but we felt under pressure as newbies. We felt like we did not know beverage options. Sorry to say But I'd rather be at colorful Moe's! I've become a begrudgingly huge fan of Chipotle. I used to be a Moe's guy, and Moe's is good. But I find myself here more. The environment is spartan and simple. The menu is small, but the food tastes so fresh. I love how you can get brown rice on your burrito. The service is excellent and the staff always provides an excellent experience.
