Goodness, this restaurant is a mess. We picked up tacos today, and it was obvious things were not being managed well. Every container of ingredients looked like it was scraped down to the bottom, the entire prep area appeared disorganized and unkempt, and the meat portions were almost comical for what we paid. We expressed our concerns to an employee and were told to speak with management. When we did, our concerns weren't acknowledged or addressed in any meaningful way. This location is nothing like any other Chipotle I've visited over the years--before or after COVID. Based on today's experience, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here. read more

The order couldn't have been more wrong. We had 3 separate order on the app that they might as well have mixed the ingredients in a hat and pulled them out at random. Also they forgot lots of items. Terrible! read more

I love chipotle. I would eat it every day but this restaurant is awful. It is never clean. It is consistently inconsistent. The portions are never the same but consistently about half of what any other chipotle makes. I made a comment to a staff member about how small the bowl is and asked about training and she said there is no training. I have had bowls there where the meat was ice cold. I keep going and hoping for the best and am disappointed every single time. That's my problem I know. read more

This is the dirtiest Chipotle I have ever been to, and the staff was super stingy with the portions. Ice machine broken when I visited, but that didn't bother me. The disgusting slobs of smeared food at the food station, the uncleaned tables, and the overflowing trash turned my stomach. read more

I had just gotten off of work. I was still wearing my suit. When it was my turn, the first person was really nice. I did notice that the work station was VERY dirty as they were making my burrito. The second person helping was young, but she just seemed annoyed. The cashier was SO MEAN. She didn't know what was on my burrito. I told her it was chicken, with queso and guacamole. She just turned and started to laugh. She went to the person handling the catering, and the catering person looked and laughed as well. The cashier then turned back around and just couldn't make any eye contact with me at all she was laughing so bad. I didn't even do anything for that to happen. It did not even want to pay for my food, I was so disgusted by her behavior. But I was hungry and tired, so I just ignored and went home. I am NEVER going back. read more

Go literally anywhere else. Employees arguing, one employee didn't say a single word working the line while I was in there. Pretty sure he was stoned out of his mind too, I've never seen anyone move slower than that guy. Other employees were talking about it right in front of him and all the customers. All the other employees started talking about quitting at one point and just walking out with some of the food. Honestly surreal experience. Adding on to that I waited at least half an hour in line behind only 5 people. They were so backed up with online orders they had to make like 7 in a row before serving anyone else waiting in line. Which a lot had to do with that one slow guy taking forever to put three ingredients in a bowl or burrito. Then people still had to ask for fixes cause they were doing the orders wrong and had to remake some of the online orders. After finally getting my order I went to get a drink and the floor was literally flooding with soda and those different lemonades they have. I live in Duluth and have been to this location many many times after practice and it's been fine but definitely went down hill the past year. I haven't been for awhile since school ended and I'm certainly never coming back. I'll be shocked if this location is still open in a year. If you want a burrito go to Qdoba or just don't get one. Been to many Chipotles but this one is just terrible. Ordered two burritos online. Got two plastic bowls on pick-up. Asked - and they said they were out of tortillas. Ok - Meanwhile another worker is wrapping up a burrito right there?!?! I asked to be remade and worker caught an vile attitude. Skipped that situationship and just took the bowls. Time to eat - surprise - the ingredients were all wrong . The chips had literally a handful of salt at the bottom of the bag. Seriously - what is this? Management - fix your store. Read all the other reviews, they are correct. Horrible chipotle. In town for business and decided to try for a second time hoping the first bad visit was a fluke. Nope. Like 8 people working but half seem clueless. Out of guacamole again on this visit. Then as I am checking out, see they have guacamole at the to go secondary counter. A worker walked up the that line saying they have a customer that wants a side of guacamole. Older lady seemed pissed off and said "he knows he has to pay for it right?" Seriously? This chipotle is the absolute worst. I love chipotle but the last week I've tried to go here 3 different times and they are either closed 3 hours early. Or are only taking online orders but then has a sticky note that says the wait times are over an hour. The staff is never nice when inside the store. Store does not have any clean tables. Napkins, forks, spoons, etc not stocked. This is not the first time. Unfortunately this has become the standard. As I was paying, card out for the tap feature, my wife took the beverage cups to get drinks. The young lady at the counter called her back and told her to wait until we pay. She had already told us the total, but had not processed the system to accept the payment. It came off quite rude. Looks like we will have to start going to other establishments. One of the food preparers has a 6 inch long patch of hair on his chin. of that is directly over the food as he preps your order. He does not wear any sort of hair net for his soul patch and I cannot help but fear that I will find a strand of this man's patch in my bowl. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Service and experience at this location has always been a hit or miss but this last time sealed the deal for me. I will no longer be returning here. Upon entering the store we were not greeted or acknowledged even though there were 6 employees behind the counter, 2 at the line. One employee was rudely yelling that the lobby was closed and we could not do a dine in order even though it was more than 30 min before closing time. Finally one of the employees makes his way over and I tell him what I want. He only gave me half portions of everything even though I asked for more. When he rang us up, he did t even hand us our food but left it sitting on the counter. We had to ask him for our food at which point he finally grabbed it and handed it over to us. Can we give a Zero Star. They only had online ordering so my husband figured that out.... Waited an hour for our two burritos and no chicken was put on either just rice.... Literally just rice in a tortilla shell. Ice machine was not working so pops were warm.... Only two workers were actually doing anything. Lots of workers in there not doing a thing. The place was a disaster. You're required to leave a tip on an online order and the service was absolute garbage! Biggest joke and we will never be back! This place is disgustingly dirt! Dirty tables and floors. Ice machine is broken, online orders only, but can't get them right. No names on burritos to tell one from another, poor proportions, burritos not wrapped and were opened when we opened the bag, missing ingredients on burritos, large chunks of veggies not cut up, white rice PLAIN white rice and not the lime white rice, ingredients clearly weren't fresh. ICK...we chose to not eat it. Food wasted and in the trash! Also, writing a review and following the comment of "please contact us" from Chris is of no help! I get the run around from a bot Pepper and then when you do get an agent, they disconnect the chat before you get to say anything. Ordered online. I don't know why I order. It's more of a request. The order is never right always missing something. I've ordered vegetarian and get chicken or steak. Order fajita veggies don't get the veggies. I guess I should check the order before I leave the store but that's too much trouble. They should just make it right. I've had issues every time I order well I'm done. Tired of hoping my order will be right. Tired of not getting chips I paid for also. Have to request a refund online. They won't refund just give you a code for free chips next time. Well the code expires and it's not really free since I already paid for them. This chipotle is definitely the worst one I've ever been too. They are very bipolar with their ordering process. Half the time they are online order only, even when they are not busy. I've never experienced this with any other location. Its incredibly frustrating to show up in person and not be able to order. Not everyone wants to download a food app. I've come and had them be card only (weird). The restaurant isn't very clean. They don't give very big portions either. This Chipotle is unfortunately heading the wrong way. It's not a huge deal, but if the store isn't well taken care of, it's hard not to wonder about how they clean the prep area and take care of the food. While those working there still seem very nice and helpful, their restaurant has gotten dirty and seemingly mismanaged. The trash was overflowing, the drink stand was filthy and the floors were sticky and not as they used to be. The take out orders were running 30-35 mintiest late at there were 18 people waiting for online orders. Our acmes our 37 mini after we were told it would be ready. The food was still pretty good so we will give it another go. read more

We went to chipotle tonight instead of driving 10 more minutes to Qdoba. Last time we do that. First thing the place was absolutely disgusting. Then apparently they were low on chips so chips were only for online orders not for paying customers standing right there. Then they were out of medium cups and made us pay the large cup price even though the 4 of us including my 8 yr old certainly did not want a large cup on top of that the cashier was extremely rude when I said we should pay the medium price since it was not my fault that they are out. She also insisted that that is what her manager told her to do. Needless to say I will never set foot in the Duluth chipotle if I ever go to any chipotle again read more

Why do I always convince myself it will be better the next time I go here? Maybe because I live in a remote area and this is the closest chipotle! But it is an absolute dump every time. The worst offense is always the quality of the food and the unsanitary state of everything. Who the heck is managing this place?
