No wonder why this location has 2 stars. Horrible service. First of all, I ordered a salad. Like when the girl at the beginning asked "what can I get started for you," I said "a salad." So we build the salad (with a crappy rushed attitude, I might add. The worker is like "anything else, anything else, anything else after every individual ingredient.) and I get to the cashier. I watch as they pack the bag because I ordered chips and guac also. Noticed they didn't include the dressing. So I asked for it and she says they ran out. Like WHY wouldn't you tell me this at the beginning. I would not have ordered anything at all. Then she asks me "would you like something else?" And I said "well what about the cilantro lime sauce?" And she says "that's extra." Are you serious? I ordered a salad and you didn't say anything about being out of the dressing, which apparently the entire crew already knew about, but you want to charge me for the cilantro lime sauce because I'd like that to replace the vinaigrette? Why would you even ask me if I would like something else? Who trains these people? She says "let me see if there's something I can do." Absolutely unacceptable experience. I picked up my Chipotle order, and apparently liquid from the food had leaked through the bowls and completely saturated the paper bag from the inside. When I got out of my car carrying the order, the bottom of the bag suddenly gave out and the entire order crashed through onto the ground. And no, I didn't just drop my food. The bag failed. I have multiple photos showing exactly what happened. Losing the food was annoying enough, but the bigger problem is the absolute disaster this created in my car. Food and liquid spilled everywhere, leaving me with a huge cleanup and potentially needing to have the interior professionally detailed. For what Chipotle charges these days, is it really unreasonable to expect the containers to be properly sealed and the bag to survive the trip from the restaurant to my house down the street? I'm now dealing with a ruined meal, food all over the ground, and a disgusting mess in my vehicle because of what appears to be leaking packaging. I've contacted Chipotle corporate and documented everything with photos. Hopefully they actually make this right. One star. A burrito bowl shouldn't come with a detailing bill. read more

I really hate to make this kind of review but I feel like I have to. When I walked in a cook with a bird tattoo on his outer forearm turned his head to cough and coughed into the kitchen. Which at least he made an effort to hide his cough even though that's where all the food is prepared. But then as I was ordering he coughed directly into his hand and did not wash it. Then proceeded to get on his phone in front of the customers. As I was ordering he came with his dirty hands and no glove, grabbed the black beans to exchange it which caused me to switch to pinto beans. Literally the perfect place at the right time! It's always so good! If I could give a rating of zero I would! My 16 year old daughter experienced such rude customer service at this location. I will be kind and won't expose the woman's name on this review, but thankfully have the receipt on hand to be able to follow up with a manager. The woman taking my daughter's order was was rude in her tone while taking my daughter's order, rolled her eyes at her, and acted as if my daughter was inconveniencing her. When my daughter came home with our order, she was so visibly upset at being treated so rudely. After she told me what happened, I immediately called to speak with the manager, but they have an automated system that would not connect me with a real person. So frustrating! Update (12/11): I ordered extra portions but my bowl wasn't as filled as last time, but maybe that's due to the time I placed my order (around 3:20-3:30). Not only that, but I found a piece of plastic while eating my food. I appreciate the speed at completing my order, but not at the expense of losing out on extra portions and finding plastic in my food. 2nd update (as of 12/14): I submitted my complaint to Chipotle's customer service and very soon after received an email from one of their staff who gave me 2 free entree rewards as a kind gesture! This was my first time using the app but it was quite easy. You can also select what time you want the order to be ready. We buy from chipotle regularly. Today I ordered a kids meal with chicken quesadilla via app (RQ8-1A3) for my toddler to eat. Unfortunately after one bite my kid screams "spicy spicy". I couldn't believe it so I took a bite of the chicken and it was indeed spicy. I called the number listed but they just kept transferring the call around and couldn't answer the simple question: why is the chicken spicy?!! I usually go to the one in Walnut but I was closer to this one this time and decided to come to this one in Diamond Bar. Big mistake. My sister and I both got a burrito bowl around 1:30 PM on a Monday. The service was just okay. I don't want to seem entitled to anything but the worker gave me very little barbacoa and totally skimped us out on the side of guacamole we got. Like seriously, it wasn't even 3/4ths full. Also, I usually ask for a side of citrus (lemon juice) which all of the locations I have been to have happily provided. I don't know if it was true but the worker here was incredibly quick to get annoyed when I asked and said "We ran out." I'm not trying to make any assumptions but you can take that as you will. I drove home only about 7 minutes away to eat the bowl and to my disappointment - it was practically inedible. The rice I got (brown rice) was severely undercooked and it ruined the entire bowl. Undercooked rice isn't just unsavory but it could potentially harbor harmful bacteria that can make you ill. It was seriously disgusting. My sister got white rice in hers and it was also undercooked- leading me to believe that this was a problem with the way they cooked it. Needless to say, I had one bite and couldn't eat it anymore. Placed an order online. I ordered a quesadilla with sofritas, my 3 sides were sour cream, tomatillo red chili salsa and chipotle honey vinaigrette. (The quesadilla is ONLY available online and the vinaigrette is here for a limited time) I was a little disappointed in my quesadilla as it was mostly tortilla, (you can see the multiple layers of JUST tortilla in my picture) but I did enjoy the parts that did have some filling.
