Anyone who's known me for more than 5 minutes knows that I absolutely LOVE Chipotle. If I pass a Chipotle, I go inside. Even if I'm not hungry. I stopped here after work yesterday and what a huge disappointment. I'm generally hesitant when restaurants usually only found in the city or Westchester come to the South Bronx, because the quality almost always goes down dramatically. The girl at the beginning of the line was extremely rude and clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. The peppers and onions which are usually vibrant and crisp were dull and soft. The green peppers didn't even look green anymore, but more beige-ish. The barbacoa was extremely dry. There wasn't even any gravy in the tin like there usually is. The lettuce was soft and looked old. I sat at a table which was dirty. Another girl came over and started cleaning the tables. She then came to my table and proceeded to start cleaning it WHILE I was eating. Not just wiping crumbs off, but literally spraying whatever it was she had in the cleaning bottle 2 centimeters away from my open plate. She then gave me an attitude when I asked that she not spray chemicals on the table WHILE I'm sitting there waiting. I've heard terrible things about this location but decided to give it a shot anyway. Never again. I'll continue visiting the Cross County and Ridge Hill locations. I gave them 2 stars because by the grace of God, I didn't get food poisoning. read more

The workers sit around and have loud inappropriate conversations, couldn't even eat my food in peace. Terrible chipotle!!

First time ever in chipotle and it was ok. I don't know why people love so much. I've had real Mexican burritos which are wayyyyyy better. But it was decent. Ingredients were fresh. I have to try a few more things on the menu but I would recommend for some fast food burrito. read more

Please save yourself the time and irritation. Not only are they sloppy but clearly do not know how to read, add or provide adequate customer service. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but clearly I was mistaken. I'm surprised this place has not been shut down by the health department and is able to generate business at the slow pace they work at regardless of the time of day. The tables were dirty from the front to the back, all the stations in the back were dirty, when I asked the person preparing my order to wipe his station he ignored me and smeared my burrito all into whatever the hell was on the counter. So disappointed in this place. Was hoping after the first trip there the slow as hell service was just a fluke. Yes I saw the line was long but I've been on longer lines in manhattan chipotles during lunch time and the line moves fast because they know what they are doing. First time waited 50 minutes in line. Second time about a few weeks later waited 45 minutes in line to find they were out of simple stuff. "Are more peppers and onions coming?" I ask when she tells me they are out. She says "I don't know" then rudely turns to the next person in line. I left the rice and beans she had made right there and I walked out, fuck that. What the fuck you mean, You don't know? Bitch it's your job to find out. Right then I knew this place was doomed. Never coming back. Avoid it, save yourself the massive disappointment as a chipotle lover who lives in the bronx. 2 stars are because the food was not bad. Here are my gripes with this place... I ordered using the app which I have used at other locations before and never had a problem... That was until today at this location... Went in to pick up my 1:45 order at 1:45... Was immediately told I have to wait 5 minutes cuz it wasn't done... No big deal figured they were busy or forgot... So the Cashier tells one of the line workers hey can you make the online order because they are here to pick it up... Ghetto lesbian Line girl prints my receipt and doesn't make my order... About 10 customers orders are made and then ghetto lesbian line girl leaves without making my order even though the cashier told her again to which she snapped back and said I'll make it next which of course she didn't... It's 2 now and I still don't have my burrito and chicken bowl... What annoyed me most was the ghettoness of the workers... It's sad to see hood rats and ghetto people working for a brand like chipotle... I finally got my order at 2:05... This is after I witnessed the same ghetto lesbian line girl who neglected to make my order argue with another worker about her standing there waiting for her to finish cutting up the chicken... ONT EAT HERE, I had the worst experience ever at this chipotle when I ordered my food and sat down to eat there was a BLACK PIECE OF HAIR IN MY BOWL. Now I don't know how this happened because that's what hairnets are for but I went back to the register showed the girl at the register my food and the visible hair inside of it and asked for a new bowl and the girl at the register called her manager Charlie, the girl should have just replaced my food after I showed her my plate of food with a single strand of hair in it but no, she calls her manager Charlie. Problem solved right ? NOPE, Charlie tells me he is not giving me a refund with the worst attitude ever and walks away. The whole crew then starts laughing, Yup worst place ever. read more

If there was a way to give them 0 stars I will definitely would give them that, chipotle's standards are LOW and this store's is even LOWER. I decided to take my parents here and for their first time it was terrible!! My mother is a picky eater so she wanted a simple salad and they couldn't even accommodate that. It's simple. Lettuce and Chicken. Instead the girl got an attitude and gave her a few pieces of lettuce and a few pieces of chicken and slid the bowl across the line. Normally I would have told her a couple things about that, but I decided to just take it as is and pay 9 dollars! For something I could have made myself. It's so disgusting how they react to when you ask them for a little more of something because their portions are their top priority rather than customer service. This Chipotle has to be one of THE WORST establishments ever. Each time I visit, I'm either forced to deal with good food, bad employees; or bad food & good employees. The employers need to take more time into their hiring process because the employees' attitudes are BEYOND disgusting. Establishment is always a mess when I go, & there is almost always something off about the food. I went to get food at this chipotle for the first time yesterday, the line was rude, whoever they have hiring people there need to learn how to hire the right kind. The chips were too salty so don't even bother with that it is a waste of money. I saw a bug near their soda machine as well, and the lemonade tasted funny. I will not be reporting back to this location it is disgusting. The food was terrible as well, corn too cold, and the steak was more rare than usual i could see so much pink from it. It would have been OK if i didn't have to throw away my food from how not right it tasted. Save yourself the trip go to Riversdale or Manhattan. read more

Fantastic. On Saturday night, the two employees working at the cash register were SO sweet and treated me like I had been best friends with them for my entire life. They gave me my food for free which honestly made my night... not even my night, more like my entire weekend!! Would definitely recommend, I can't wait to go back!!! read more

Glad I started this yelp listing because, what an absolute disaster at this place. The workers are HORRIBLE, omg so ridiculously slow. You can clearly see how inexperienced they all are, from beginning to end just complete incompetence. I blame management, these people need to be trained efficiently!!! I walked in at 8:55pm and walked out at 9:51pm. I honestly can not believe how slow service was, then when I get to the front this guy was flirting with these girls and I'm here waiting to finally be served. Then they added the chicken and I asked for extra and this other fool has the nerve to ask me am I going to pay for extra meat. I looked at her crossed eyed and said "are you serious? I've been standing on this line for an hour, hell no I'm not paying extra!!!! Then I ask for sour cream and she's scraping the last bit, I tell her to stop and go get more, this should have been done as soon as you see a little bit left. Come on COMMON SENSE. By the time I got home it was too late and I didn't even eat the food. Saved it as today's lunch. Management needs to GET IT TOGETHER!!! This was beyond ridiculous. this is the worst chipotle in the world. they are extremely slow and all they do is hang out while the line gets longer. the first time I was there they had no guacamole??????????? the second time I went which was just a few minutes ago I waited so long on the line and after 15 min I finally got attention. just wait, it gets better.... when I finally got to pay for my food, I asked for chips and the cashier responded "no". I was so shocked at her poor customer service! who says no to a customer?? I would have appreciated if she gave me a reason! and apologized for not having chips...
