Not the cleanest location. The bathrooms need more attention, and the tables seem to rarely be cleaned. The workers stay busy with orders and management may need to hire at least one more person to help with cleaning. Food is good and seems fresh enough. Not much stock in hot sauces and other condiments including sweeteners and Tabasco. Overall decent but I expect more from a decent location like Fort Bliss. Update: went a second time in one week. Helpful and nice staff but the maintenance still needs work. Trash can wasn't overflowing this time but no bag. The food still at the Chipotle quality. The worst chipotle I've ever been too, there all Hispanic and I've maybe seen one black person a couple times but they always seem so uncomfortable or doing tasks that I've never seen the Hispanic do! They often shorten the food giving to blacks, it give a racist vibe in there! Half of the time the guacamole looks brown and old, the managers all always snobby. Not a great environment at all, just need to close and open new one with different management and add some diversity! I've watched on numerous occasion them working on orders that arent the customers while customers are in line as if they dont see us. It's really weird. I ordered and steak bowl with guacamole and the guacamole was brown, extremely brown in the container on the line. I asked for dressing to come with my salad and they said they sold the last one.. mind you this was at least 2 1/2 hrs before the store closed. Sunday , April 13, 2025, my friend and I came here before having a long hour drive back to Alamagordo. We walked in and there were 5 people working. One was making online orders blatantly ignoring us, another chopping chicken just staring, another walking back and forth, and the other two just going in and out. We stood there for almost 10 minutes without any type of hey we will be with you in a moment or any recognition at all...There was only one man inside eating from a to go bag so I'm thinking maybe he is off and they are prepping? I worked in food/customer service for 3 1/2 years before becoming active duty so I okay , I can see if that's the case. I said excuse me TWICE with NO response, being ignored still , said it a third time "excuse me are you all closed or something?" After the THIRD time this woman says "No she's just doing online orders" and proceeds to walk away...didn't say just give us a moment or anything after just walks away!! What ?? Especially on a military installation, but in what world do you blatantly ignore customers without a greeting? We will be right with you, just one moment, etc which is understandable ? Absolutely DISGUSTING human behavior and customer service. Not to mention the man who was cutting chicken finished, went to the back, and got on his phone ?? The only reason we got service is because three people walked in after we were standing in awkward silence for almost 15 minutes at this point. I should have recorded it because it was so ridiculous I felt like we were in the twilight zone. Never in my life have I EVER experienced such rude behavior. You need an all new staff because I highly doubt any type of training will do any good for these idiots. Pro tip: If you don't like your job then QUIT and get go somewhere else to spread your misery. Crazy - I'm the Duke of this place, yet I haven't taken one single photo here! Man I'm slippin'. Not very Elite of me eh?! Anyways, Chipotle is Chipotle. If you don't know about it by now, then what do you know lol? It's a higher quality version of fast food that is a small, simple menu, but it's still really good. This location is in Freedom Crossing, which is super close to where I work. Also, by my 150+ check ins at Freedom Crossing, it's a place I'm always near. Which is probably why I am the duke here. See, it's located outside of the food court, towards BWWs. I convince myself that it's "healthier" version of fast food, and further convince myself it's ok to eat because I always ask for brown rice and chicken lol. Walk up and choose burrito or a bowl. From there, the ingredients are all laid out like a subway. Just go down the line and point at what you want and they will toss it in the bowl or burrito. Me? I get a bowl and then ask for a tortilla on the side. The tortillas are the size of a large pizza. So I tear it up and make a bunch of little mini burritos. But you know all this already. U.S.A....U.S.A ..... could be heard from the troops as we touched down after a long 9 month Deployment to Kuwait.. After Dining Facility Food, mystery meat, Mongolian Mondays, Taco Tuesdays and local cuisine in Kuwait my stomach yearned for American food. Don't get me wrong, Kuwait had several local American restaurants like PF Changs, IHOP, Apple Bees, Olive Garden and such, but it seems like you had to know someone in the White House to be afdorded the chance to leave the installation.. To tease my pallet, I began surfing Yelp again a month from redeploying and fantasized about what local eatery I would patronize first. Once the hugs were shared, the good-byes given, the luggage was safely secured and cat nap complete, my friend and I took off in search of a Home Coming Meal. As we approached Freedom Crossing the Chipotle sign looked welcoming and the Soldiers outside seemed pleased. I ordered a rice bowl and added chicken, brown rice and corn salsa and decided to enjoy my meal outside. (Much better here than fighting the flies for it in Kuwait) After a few bites I noticed my lip was tingling and my mouth was burning, which meant I had possibly ingested jalapeños ( allergic .. insert sad face ) .. I rushed in and asked were there jalapeños in the food and the staff confirmed there were some small bits mixed in my corn salsa. All I can say is the two managers (Gabriel Meza-Juarez) and the other (sorry didnt get his name) rushed to my aid to ensure I was ok. They asked if they could call an EMS and the server at the register quickly remade my meal. Mr. Gabriel brought me some milk to help with the swelling and promptly filled out in incident report. I received a voucher for a return meal and Chipotle's Corporate division called to follow up within hours of the incident .. She was very pleasant and went over the ingredients with me in their food and apologized for any inconveniences.... Haha haha so much excitement for one meal. The supposed "manager" with shorter blue hair was completely rude the entire time. We had our orders written down beforehand because it was a couple different orders. She snatched the paper out of our hands and proceeded to "slap together" our food. She didn't make these well at all, it had very little food in the "bowls", and less in the burrito. I went there tonight around 6:30pm, Food looked delicious and they just put out some fresh ingredients. But the service from one employee was just rude and disrespectful. I ordered a bowl with White rice, Pinto beans and barbacoa. She asked if i want Queso, i said no thank you and she added a full scoop of it on. I had to say ma'am over three times to get her attention to let her know I had said No to the queso, She said back to me that I did indeed say yes and i repeated no, i said no thank you. She rolled her eyes and just had such a pissed off face. She was remaking my order just the first three ingredients and turned around and smirked to the coworkers and walked back to the front by the tortillas before i could even apologize about it even though it was not my fault. I am a very respectful person especially to my customer service folks as I have worked in customer service since 16yo (i'm 25 now) I told my husband that experience was just so unsettling. Do not order online from this Chipotle. On multiple occasions I have ordered online for pickup and each time they have managed to put the least amount of everything in the bowl, even when I ordered it with double chicken and rice. They will not miss a chance to skimp. read more

I would NOT recommend this location. The food here is disgusting. All the meat is over cooked, so is the rice. The chips are burnt (and stale). The cheese doesn't even taste great. Last but not least, my wife's burrito tasted straight up like dirt. We dined in and threw away half our order because it wasn't even worth it. I'm giving them a 5 star solely on their customer service! One of the workers went above and beyond to help me today! It's your typical chipotle. You choose bowl, burrito, tacos or salad. Choose your meat preference chicken, Barbacoa, sofritas, carnitas etc. and your salsa's, guac, cheese and lettuce if you want. Food was so so, service was also so so. My main gripe is that they tried to overcharge me on a menu item. When I pointed out the mistake, the woman's excuse was "well I don't have that button on my register." Needless to say, despite her eye roll, I got my money back. The new chipotle at Freedom Crossing was clean, fast, and tasty. The layout seems a little more sterile than usual (which is saying something) but other than that this is the standard Chipotle experience most people love. I had their specialty chorizo meat and it was delicious with a nice amount of spice. I'll def be back for more lunches. read more
