The person taking my order was very friendly and nice. The store itself wasn't too packed even though it was 6 pm. The only con to my bowl was I had to ask for extra toppings because the portions for each topping was extremely small and then I asked for less beans but I think the person taking the order misheard me and gave me extra beans. Also the chicken pieces a bit large. yooo this the best chipotle I've been to in a while, and I go to chipotle a lot. My bowl got absolutely loaded up with toppings and meat at no extra charge. Also the first time in a long time I've seen a chipotle actually have everything fully stocked, and at peak lunch time no less. ERGONOMICS 101   It's not often I feel the need to comment on something trivial like door handles, but it's the only thing that stands out from this otherwise humdrum Chipotle.   There's lots of places to grab a bite around Rohlwing Rd & Lake St, in Addison.  You've got a Panda Express, Wingstop, a Colombian restaurant, and further down US 20 there's an IHOP, Famous Daves, and a Culvers.   I decided to stop for a Chipotle lunch on 7/19/22 and before I could even order my food, I ran into an issue.  Specifically, an issue entering the damn place.   The door handles were oversized pieces of wood, badly positioned--well above where most adults would reach to grab it--and HEAVY AS HELL.  Doors shouldn't require a team of horses to get them open (and it wasn't just me, as I saw several people have difficulty with this).   Some Chipotle's have a pseudo-industrial feel to them; this one has an entire wall of teak, which looked out of place.  I liked that they offered agua frescas (lemonade, watermelon limeade, berry, mandarin) besides the usual fountain drink selections.   My barbacoa burrito ($9.75) was packed to the brim with rice, beans, diced tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and hot salsa.  The fiery red sauce was hotter than I remember it being, unless that heat came from the barbacoa.   The guy assembling my lunch was clearly not paying attention, as he asked me numerous times what I wanted crammed into the burrito ("brown or white rice?"  "white, please"  "you said...brown?"  "uhh no").  Get with it, man!   * TL;DR *   Listen, Chipotle, there's no need to be cute.  You're a burrito chain, not a Colonial pub in Boston.   While I won't call up the ADA for a sh*tty choice in door handles, I can't imagine a single customer thinking that these are efficient and/or easy-to-use (honestly, if an able-bodied person struggles to open a heavy door, what chance does someone in a wheelchair have?)   Don't prioritize quirkiness over accessibility.  Replace your stupid-ass flotsam door handles with normal ones, then get back to me. read more

Went here yesterday and ordered the chicken bowl with cilantro lime rice, fajita veggies, corn, sour cream, and cheese. The chicken was really tender and had a smoky flavor. They gave a decent amount of food. It is a little pricey, but this meal is filling. I would return to this location. My order was completely wrong. I had placed an order for pick up and once I opened my bowl I was highly disappointed. Don't think I'll be back to this location. They don't care about the food or the orders. I was missing white rice, and guacamole in my order. Rudest chipotle I've experienced and I've been to plenty. For some reason, the doors to the building are the worst. Because of covid, I really try to have the least amount of contact with public doors and this one gives you no choice. I'm always friendly to restaurants workers but both the girl assembling the food and the one at the register were so rude and snippy to me. No reciprocated smile. And so sassy to me and my coworkers. I am a loyal patron of Chipotle and this location is the newest in this area. It's trendy and clean. The staff members are always friendly. I typically get either a steak salad or chicken bowl. The salad dressing is amazing. I know a fellow yelper complained about her steak, but I've enjoyed my steak at this location too. Tonight, I ordered a bowl with brown rice. They offered me a free beverage while I waited two minutes for brown rice. They threw out the scoop left. When checking out, the cashier apologized for the wait. My thought was what wait? Due to my bad experience a few days ago, Chipotle corporate made an effort to make things better. They provided me with 3 free entrees which I used today. Let me tell you, the quality, quantity, and accuracy was infinitely better. Before there was hardly any rice, black beans instead of pinto, total lack of meat, no fajita veggies, the bowl was sloppy, serving was small, and the quality wasn't there; one of us couldn't even eat their meal. That all changed this afternoon. We weren't able to get our food, so my father went in. I spoke to a Connie, the manager, and she was great, making sure my order was accurate and made well. This is a super Chipotle. I base this on a few things. The employees were all smiling and all friendly and pleasant. No stress here. The place was clean. Really, really clean. And I was not the first person there by a long shot. The food was actually at the right temp. The chicken (had a chicken burrito bowl) was hot, the tomatoes' were room temp (not frozen like they often are at other Chipotles), the green sauce was the perfect heat. Easy parking. Next to Walmart and SAMs club. Difficult to get into the parking lot because of the construction on the roads around here. 4 stars, would be 5 if it was a mom and pop. read more

This location is brand-spanking new. It's quite clean and modern, but like all Chipotles, never seems to have enough seating. We went for a late lunch on a weekend, but I imagine weekdays are fairly crowded here. I got a salad, which was prepared exactly as specified. However, do they get commission based on how many people take the vinaigrette dressing? Both my husband and I were asked several times if we wanted it. When we politely declined, the burrito artist insisted "It's really very good." I'm sure it is, buddy, but it's so calorie laden that it defeats the purpose of getting a salad instead of a burrito bowl. At least they're friendly, though. read more

Overall, I give Chipotle, the company, 5 stars. I love them and I don't care what anyone else says. Most people seem to be opposed to it because it's not authentic Mexican cuisine, and I'm OK with that. If I want authentic Mexican, there are tons of places in the area that I frequent quite often. But if I want Chipotle, I'm obviously going to Chipotle. And I want Chipotle all the time. Since it's a large chain, they are rather consistent. But there are only so many quality control and standards expectations that can be met when you're dealing with individual locations. They most get it right here but sometimes fall flat. Service varies and this Chipotle seems to fall victim to the infamous sound amplification that I have no doubt was done on purpose to keep you from overstaying your welcome. This is common at all Chipotle locations and I constantly have to repeat myself here because the employees can't hear me, even though I am not timid when ordering tacos and enunciate. I've tried to adjust my volume to compensate but my words still get lost in the loud music. Be prepared to repeat yourself a few times. On more than one occasion they have been out of key ingredients and sort of shrug it off. I understand they can't do much about it in the moment, but there isn't any real alternative or offer offered for the inconvenience and I remember when Chipotle used to comp your meal if you had to wait a few extra seconds for meat or toppings to be changed out on the line. They also often overcook the meat. Thoroughness is often a preference, but Chipotle seemed to pride itself on its "medium-rare" meat and I find it's usually medium or well when we come. It's still tasty, but it could be better and could be done the way in which they claim it should be. Despite the occasional downfall, it's still reliable and delicious. It's also slightly cheaper to come to this location than to the Villa Park location, so I try to save those extra cents when I can and come here. read more

Had a steak burrito and everything was room temperate in it. I would recommend to the staff that they learn how to cut meat every bite I took I had the hard fat part of the steak so I got annoyed and threw 50% of the burrito away rather than risking to mess up my teeth. I love chipotle but I believe they have standards as every company should the staff should learn from management and if some of them are not doing there job and are not willing to learn than I think it's better to replace that them. Online ordering! That is why I ended up at this Chipotle this week. My poor husband has been working seven days a week at up to eighteen hours a day. The man was hungry. I get an hour for lunch and I wanted to eat too. So, I ordered from Chipotle online, scheduled my pickup time and crossed my fingers. I arrived at the appointed time and found a parking spot right in front of the door. I ran in and straight to the cashier as directed. I noticed that this location seems to have a but less seating than other locations I've been to, but this won't deter me from visiting again as I have never actually dined inside a Chipotle location. It transports well, so I always eat it somewhere else. Anyhow, I showed the cashier my ID, another gentleman grabbed my bagged order from an under the counter warming area and I was gone. Yep, amazingly fast and easy. The order was paid for online, they offered a receipt at the counter and I could t have been happier. Truth be told, I was happier. Ten minutes later when we opened up our food and it was exactly as ordered! Plus, I received a phone call that afternoon directly from the store inquiring about my experience. All Chipotle's are NOT the same! This review is strictly on the food. The service and restaurant itself is fine but I've spit out more pieces of steak from my burrito bowl than I've chewed and that has never happened at any of my many other Chipotle visits at other locations. It even tastes different. The meat that is.... You know when you cook a steak at home and you question if you waited 1 day too long. It's still safe and edible but the quality has definitely diminished due to it not being as fresh? That's what I'm tasting right now as I sit here with my very disappointing dinner. As a pregnant lady... I can say we will eat pretty much anything when hungry but this is not making me or the baby very happy. I can't imagine they use any other cut of steak that isn't used at the other locations. Maybe it was the way it was cut? Although that doesn't make up for it's old, meaty taste. I'll give it another go of course at this location. It's on the newer side and maybe they just don't have the flow down yet.
