I asked at the front desk their opinion on the place and it literally had mixed reviews. It was late and I did not want to go anywhere else at a long day of travel so I walked over. You pay for the buffet as you enter. Price to inlcude drink was around $14.50. Proceed to your table with your ticket and one of the wait staff will get your drink. Not very crowded when I went. Fairly large selection of soups, appetizers, entrees, sushi and dessert. I will say that some of the product on the line looked fresher than others. Checked out the sushi and spoke to the chef who was preparing it. Wanted to make sure it had not been sitting out too long. He assured me that it was recently prepared and asked me if there was anything in particular I might like (very nice). Got a full plate and cautiously dug. It was very good. Went back several times and the chef even prepared something special for me with mackerel. I was pleased with the sushi. I did not really get much from the hot bar, but what I got was okay, perhaps a little dry from sitting too long. So, an acceptable meal.

First time eating here. Recommended by many co-workers. My husband and I each got the combo and…read moredecided to forego the lo mein and rice (keto diets). We got the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork, the last dish was chicken with veggies - there are a few flavor options for this, such as Bourbon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, etc. I got the Kung Pao. The food was pretty good. However, the chicken in the Kung Pao was kinda gross. It looked like it had been chewed and put back in there. Taste was "off". The Kung Pao is supposed to have some "heat" (flavor) to it, though it wasn't hot at all. Which was fine. We chose to get the meal without any added sauces. And everything was really good without sauce! The reason we do this is 1) Keto diet (sugar) and 2) (possibility of) MSG. Although, I don't think, from what we had, which was grilled with sauce, that there is MSG in their sauces. If so, very little. I can taste MSG, and I didn't taste it. The meats (except the Kung Pao) had a nice grill char to them which enhanced their flavor. We chose this place for lunch knowing that it was cafeteria style (dished/served by the employees) particularly, because one has only so much time for lunch when they are working. So it worked out very well. Very fast, with hardly any wait at all. I saw that one person who reviewed was upset with the cafeteria style service... I'm not sure what his qualm was. It isn't like random people are breathing on the food. It is the same people that cook it, so what is the problem.. And yes, food is served in styrofoam containers with plasticware. It IS a "fast food" Chinese restaurant afterall. Is it my favorite Chinese place in town. No. At least not at this time. Would we go back? Absolutely!

I'm not into buffets but I was craving Asian food. I had a let down at another place and decided to…read moregive this one a shot. Honestly, I was surprised at how everything I tried was hot and fresh. I love chicken dishes and tried the General Tso's and spicy Chicken. Absolutely loved both. Outside was crispy and inside was juicy chicken (not ground chicken). They also had every noodle you could think of which really excited me. I tried the ramen bar and was a little nervous. Once again a nice surprise. The one thing with the ramen it was bland, I got the hot chili oil and soy sauce to add and it was great. I did not try the hibachi but saw several people who did and they appear to really enjoy it. Also tried the sushi (I don't like seafood) but they had 3 vegetarian options that were wonderful. I would recommend giving this place a try. They had so many options that I could not try. Definitely going again!

The miso was just ok.. could have more body/flavor but the shrimp and seafood boil was really good with the blue crab (small crab) being cooked well- not dry or overcooked. Same for the shrimp. They have several station from veggies, puddings, 2 or 3 hot stations, sushi and hibachi/stir fry station. Waiters were kind and attentive as well. Went at 1pm on saturday and ut wasn't too busy. When you dont want to cook and want seafood variety, you really cant beat the value.

Better than average Chinese food. And yeah, to me that's a 3…read more The place has such an interesting name for a Chinese restaurant. They've already "decked the halls" and there was Spanish music playing. All in all, just an interesting experience. Anyway, for food I got the Big Mama Special ($7.99), which includes a bit of everything: 1 Egg Roll: Average 1 Tempura: I could see this being a favorite for people-it was kinda like bettered & fried lo mein, but not super greasy. It was good 2 Cream Cheese Wontons: I appreciate they didn't throw fake crab in it and call it crab Rangoons. It's straight up a wonton with cream cheese in it. Broccoli: very good! 2 wings: good-they were boneless and probably the sesame flavor, looking at the wing flavor list. A little chewy, but not bad. Again, average Chinese chicken. Sweet & Sour Chicken: very different from other Sweet & Sour Chicken. It was battered, but definitely not greasy at all, which is great, and the meat seemed to be of good quality inside. Rice: I subbed the rice for lo mein for $1. I really liked it! Great flavor, thin and flat noodles Overall, I thought it was the least greasy Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. It's good for an area that doesn't have many restaurants. I got my food fast, and for the price, it was great! I couldn't finish it all.

Every place I have ever had Kung Pao chicken has made it with big bite sized "cubes" - see the menu description. It's been in a thick spicy sauce. I love this dish when made that way. This version, while tasty, was nothing like that. It was tiny, almost shredded chicken, with a very runny broth like sauce. I have never eaten Kung Pao with a spoon until now. Rating: 7 of 10. It was spicy, had a nice flavor and I got three decent portions from the order. Fried rice - Don't call this fried rice. Fried rice has peas, onions and egg and carrots and is fried. In a pan. This was once white rice that someone added a little soy sauce to. Serviceable as a bed for the entree. Rating: 5 of 10 Green chile egg roll - Very thin, very overcooked, no green chile flavor...pass. Rating: 2 of 10 Sweet & sour pork - Lordy. Tiny overcooked balls of chicken. They wanted the sauce to be sweet but...no. Rating: 5 of 10 Chicken chow mein - Lots of cabbage. No onion, garlic, celery, mushrooms. Just cabbage and very little chicken. Rating: 5 of 10 No sweet and sour soup on the menu. That's a "go to must have" for us whenever we have Chinese. Ugh. Look this is serviceable Chinese. Nothing was bad. But nothing was super memorable. We'll try some other menu items and get back with you.
