Huge portions, delicious food! Can't go wrong when you're in the mood for trashy Asian food.

I really wanted to like Chinese Express, but the portions are honestly ridiculous for the price. You get a huge pile of rice and barely any actual meat or broccoli. It feels like you're paying mostly for rice. I ordered orange chicken once and got what felt like a piece of bread with red sauce on it -- hardly any real chicken. The sesame chicken was even worse. The piece I got was so hard it was like a brick. Definitely not fresh. For what they charge, the quality and portion balance just isn't there. I wouldn't recommend it unless they seriously improve the meat portions and freshness. Where do I start with Oriental Express? I have been a faithful customer to this place since they was in Blackwell many many years ago when I was a kid I used to go to the restaurant when they first opened. They always was so nice and so welcoming. Their food is so good. It's there is something certainly different about their food than any other place like that. It's wonderful. Always quick service food is always hot the portions are huge more than enough to share their egg rolls are amazing

I went in for lunch. They weren't busy. I ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp, paid for Shrimp, but they gave me chicken. It wasn't very good. The fried rice was the worst I have ever had. I'll never go back. read more

I've been coming here for almost 20 years and have always loved it. But it's been so hit and miss since 2020. The egg rolls used to be amazing, here lately it's like they reheat them in the fryer not sure what's different but they are almost always super oily and taste like straight fryer oil it's gross. Went today not long after 11am figured everything should be fresh since they just opened. I was wrong, general tso's chicken tasted old and dry and was super tough like it was leftover from the day before, egg roll was garbage and super oily. The gas station egg rolls that have sat in the hot box all day are way better, the rice doesn't seem like fried rice, no egg or vegetables just like they put soy sauce in white rice and never fry it. I really hope they can pull it back together sometimes because I'm not sure how many more bad experiences I can endure. read more

GREAT experience! Went to check them out the first time about a week ago. Had the moo goo guy pan. It was phenomenal! It's so hot you can barely eat it. Dine in or take out is in a Togo box. Cause for the price you're still getting to take some home. With a drink and an added egg roll it was around $11. There was enough food for two maybe 3 people. Delicious! As for the comments about it being dirty. There's. Difference between old and dirty. This place is just older. Doesn't bother me a bit. I've been back 3 times in the last 8 days! read more

Probably hands down the worst Chinese food I have eaten. Got take out on my way home from work. To be honest, it really didn't smell appetizing at all. After I got home and dug into the food, it was so bad I took two bites and threw it in the trash. The chicken was dried out and hard with almost no sauce on it. The fried rice almost looked like half fried rice and half white rice. Everything seemed as if it had been sitting for hours before being served. Honestly, it was disgusting. read more

I've been coming here for over a decade. They've had their ups and downs over the years, but I won't eat Chinese anywhere else in Ponca! Or the immediate surrounding areas for that matter. Mostly because this is more authentic instead of Chinese cuisine that you'd find at the mall. Always sad when I have a craving on Monday when they're closed. I'm amazed how long the drive true lines are at this place, for such a poor and over salted dinners.

I regret that I went here. The place is filthy. I went against my better judgement and ordered cashew chicken. Took it to work and ended up sick 2 hours after my dinner. The food was of poor quality, flavorless and really bad. I spent 2 days with the revenge after I finished puking. The local government should shut this place down as a health hazard. Food is always hot, delicious, and super cheap. The portion size is huge. I'm from Kansas City and this is still the best Chinese I've ever had. Try the generals tsos or sesame chicken. Absolutely amazing. read more

Large portions & decent for fast food Chinese.

We normally use the drive-thru but on this past Christmas Eve, that wasn't the case. For the first time ever we chose to eat out at a specific restaurant..having always dined at home during the holidays, we were unaware that everything closes by 8pm...everything except McDonald's and Chinese Express. Those our two choices, we opted for the latter. As always the food was in over-abundance and perfectly delish!! The staff took care of us well..they were singing Christmas Carols in the kitchen; you've seen A Christmas Story?! ;) We'll plan on eating at home next year but will always remain grateful for the genuine hospitality of the staff at Chinese Express!! read more

Generous food portions at a reasonable price, the place is small but the all around glass walls creates a bright, airy atmosphere. My not-so-good review: when employees talk they are loud and it's so distracting and annoying altogether. I don't speak Chinese so don't have a clue what they are talking about. The best take out Chinese in town. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Like others have said, the drive through is the typically the slowest ever, so avoid if you are in a hurry. You might wait 10 to 15 minutes, but I think the wait is worth worth it. Also bring cash as I don't believe they accept credit cards. read more

The food ranges from pretty good to "I wouldn't feed my dog that stuff". I like their spicy dishes and the egg rolls and fried rice are always good. There seems to be a lot of "mystery meat" here so beware. The ambience is non-existent (unless you enjoy the employees coversing LOUDLY all of the time". They have the best shrimp fried rice I have found since I moved away from San Francisco. And so much of it for such s tiny price.

First off the lady was very rude, I figured no biggie, food's probably good. This is the first time in as long as I can remember not even eating more than 4 bites, and throwing the entire thing in the trash. I don't usually write reviews, but if I can prevent someone else from throwing money way like this. Both of us ordered, nothing extra just two meals, 18 bucks, right in the trash. read more
