There is a waving Chinese cat below the sign 'Merry Christmas'. That's a nice touch considering the rest of Greenwich is now full of flashy Santas and shiny street decorations. The theme of moderation weightlessly expanded during my stay here. The food was moderately good. I ordered chicken and sweet corn soup which was amazing. Followed by noodles with sauce and roast duck which was rubbery and hard to bite. The service was also moderate. I had to write my order by the pen provided on the form. However the waiter when saw my handwriting he crossed off everything I wrote and rewrote it below. I think it's a really good place if you are a student or have limitless stomach. The portions are immense. I am still full after my meal and its late evening (I visited this place for lunch). There is a less choice of udon noodles than in Tai Won Mein but to make a verdict which one is better I will have to come back here again. Keep your expectations in moderation and you should enjoy this decent noodle bar!

We kept the little birds and they sit on a plant at home. I love special touches that had thought put into it. I loved the little baos! Im not usually a fan of the traditional tea sandwiches and the flavors they have (i.e. smoked salmon or cucumber with cream cheese) but these were delicious! Plenty of sauce leftover to dip your accompanied toast. *Black Pepper Beef- more of a 3rd wheel with the seafood, but held its own with its peppery, rich sauce. Very tender, and paired perfectly with the fried rice! We also had a side of the long life noodles, which we were told to order the vegetarian style so the flavor would not overpower the entrees, they were correct! What made it even more special was that the waiter rolled little nests of the noodles so it was easy to access the noodles without leaving a trail of noodles from the bowl to your plate! All in all, 5 star rating across the board, and I see why they've maintained a Michelin star for 15 straight years! Bravo

We were hoping to grab a bite to eat after going on the London Eye and before going out to a club. My companion kept saying "excuse me" to staff as they walk by. I liked the soup. The chicken fried rice was nothing special. The pina colada wasn't bad. I wish I could have talked my friends into sharing the Peking duck. The staff spoke almost no English and didn't understand our requests at all. I told three different people that I wanted my check separate from the couple I dined with. This can't possibly be an unusual request but they screwed it up. A normal one hour meal ended up taking two hours, and we had VIP tickets to a club at 10:30 so we were a little annoyed that they couldn't get their shit together. We wanted to go back to the hotel and change into cute club clothes.

However, given how the dishes came out, I didn't have enough space most of the time for the dishes. The servers and such were all nice and knowledgeable. They were trained well. My main server did stand uncomfortably close to me a few times to describe my meal. He also asked pointedly why I chose the vegetarian option that evening. He seemed bothered when I said it was because I was vegetarian. However, even with these minor details, it was still good service overall. TL;DR - a michelin take on Chinese food that was tasty with decent service.
