Not a bad little Chinese place. Opens at noon so perfect…read morefor lunch It's relatively cheap but no substitutions. I simply wanted pan fried noodles instead of rice and you can't do that. Which takes off a star because that sucks! The other star was lost on forgetting forks and such The price is bang on for what you get. And might I say the chicken wings in the combo will rival a lot of other places! It is always hot and made fresh but then again. We order ahead so there's no wait times! Cheaper if you pay cash then debit. And they do charge .50 cents for debit usage which is kind of weird but hey. Whatever they do lol The things that could be improved on are substitutions. Even with a small fee. Some people don't like certain things and a substitution can sometimes be the difference between returning and non returning customers All In all. Good little place for a quick lunch!

Great Chinese food!…read more The prices are great, and the presentation is really awesome. 3 of us came for dinner and it was presented in a way that was easy to share. There was heaps of food, and it was all fresh and hot! I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! We got the dinner for 2 with some extra sides and we were super content! Try the hot mustard- Yum!

Best Chinese food I have ever had and that includes from China Town in San Francisco. Too bad we live 2400km from them. We had spring rolls, chicken fried rice, egg foo young and chicken balls. I would describe it as myself wanting a greater flavour depth to the food. I ordered a dinner for one and I was very grateful that they substituted out the pork fried rice with a chicken fried rice. I was hoping for subtle hints or garlic and ginger (and other spices), typical to Chinese cuisine in the dishes. I suppose they cook to traditional Western tastes? As mentioned the food was piping hot when I got it and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The Chinesse food restaurant in London Ontario has no respect for the caucasian who spend their money in their restaurant so When other cultures buy food from these restaurants they get the nastiness that caucasian are used to and accepted. Caucasians are not familiar with other cultures food so when they eat something they think it's so so good ... NO ITS NOT ITS FACKIN NASTY. Don't wash meat vegetables or rice. Don't clean shrimps or any item that goes into your mouth. Also just because one Chinese restaurant calls a dish one thing and another Chinesse restaurant calls it something else do not let them justify it when you ask why why the dish is different from all the others in Ontario. Even though it's in the ghetto it was still worth the trip and possibility of getting your car stolen. I would have given the Rickshaw a 4 out of 5....since the new owners took over, the food has gone downhill a bit....albeit still better than 99% of London's Chinese restaurants....but that's not saying much.

The second visit was for a spinach and feta and they didn't have any in the display. I asked and woman working there told me it would be ready in about 5-7 minutes. I went back and they were fresh on the tray. They were so kind to put it on a bag and then tray before putting it in another bag since it was hot. She asked if I wanted sour cream as some people like to eat if with that. The sour cream was a good addition and lots of feta. The size is pretty big and for $4.73, it's a decent price too!

OK, I quite like this place and have lunch here often, but let's start with the negatives. First of…read moreall, their menu is what some might be considered limited. They have bureks and they have drinks and well ... that is all they have. As well, a burek is not what I would consider a full meal by any stretch of the imagination but as a light lunch or snack they're just about perfect. Glad we got that out of the way. Now for the good news - their bureks are amazing! In terms of introduction, a burek is simply a roll of philo pasrty stuffed and then rolled into a swirl and then baked. I only ever choose the (feta) cheese or spinach and cheese - but meat and apple and cinnamon are also available. This is strictly a to-go place but if you have time you should really stick around to watch a batch being made - at least once. A burek and a drink will run you about $6.00 which is very reasonable for the deliciousness you are about to enjoy. It's good times and I fell pretty confident that once you try one -- you'll be back.

While the food was good, it did not quite live up to the hype. We ordered the roast duck, eggplant pot, and beef noodle soup. The roast duck was cooked ok, the eggplant pot was comforting, but sauce and flavor were not rich enough, but kids love the beef noodle dish. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but none of the dishes stood out as particularly memorable or unique. Service was pleasant, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, but based on our experience, it was good rather than exceptional.
