Always good food! Always worth the price! A Coshocton staple I hope is always around.

Was in Ohio for the first time in like 7 years and had to stop for my fav Rangoons! I brought friends with me. I talked about how good these Rangoons are for years, we were so ready, I got several orders to share and we start to dig in and we all spit it out. It was salty and vile and tastes nothing like it did for the last 20+ years. Our waitress, an older woman I've ever seen before, acted like she was angry we even sat down and dared to order food. I still left her a tip even tho her service and attitude were awful. But we also left that salty nasty food and went ro find pizza. This place was 90% downhill when they went from making things fresh to order (it was all DELICIOUS IN THE 90's!) to big batches of slop for the buffet. But they still had those awesome goons so that kept me coming back. But now- after all these years- I won't step foot back in that store. It is officially 100% . And I hate to say that. And to think I'll never hear " ok ten minute" again. The end of an era. The "ambiance" or vibe can only be described as poverty stricken slimy sadness. Goodbye China wok. We had a good run. Food taste is going downhill I'm sorry to say. Our family has been disappointed, not sure if there are new owners ?

I went for lunch on my birthday with my partner and some friends and the food was really good. We went on a weekday and it was pretty slow, not too many people there which made service super easy. Fresh food was coming out every couple of minutes so there was no worries about eating something that had been sitting for too long. Our waitress was really sweet. The music they played was very traditional and relaxing, which gave the place a very relaxed feel. Huge thanks to the hard working staff for making this a good experience! read more

ordered take out, the lady was rude on the phone. got home realized I didn't get half of what I ordered. and the chicken looks raw.

No food , bad service, food was not fresh pop was flat, and when I was looking at what to eat bc they had nothing on the buffet the lady looked at me gave me dirty look and said what do u want and I politely asked for chicken and it took them 45 mins for them to bring it out, ALSO TOUCHING THE FOOD CONTAINERS WITH NO GLOVES VERY UNSANITARY WILL NOT RETURN read more

All 3 of these stars are for the crab Rangoon. Before this turned into a buffet, their food was made to order with great care in small batches. Now it's all watered down in comparison. But the crab Rangoons are STILL THE BEST I've had out of countless restaurants from the Midwest to the east coast. I wish they'd go back to the old way. It tasted authentic. You'd set your ass on fire if you accidentally ate one of the peppers in that general tso's LOL. It was the best. read more

I just read all the other reviews here. Somewhere between the first one and now this place has changed ownership at least three times. The quality of the food, the quantity of the food on the buffet table have both changed each time. As has customer service. So... I have seen it better than it is right now BUT I have seen it worse. The crabmeat rangoon is pretty good but my favorite here is the Hot & Sour Soup . At one point in time the buffet table was always sparse and the employees were always speaking Chinese in an angry tone as if they were mad all the time. Neither of those problems seem to be present at this time. read more

This is a delicious buffet of Chinese American dishes. I love their dumplings. Their chicken and broccoli is yummy. I love their crabmeat rangoon. It is reasonably priced too. read more

I have been a customer of China Wok for several years, and am extremely happy with the food and service. In prior years I have eaten Chinese food in 4 Southeast Asian countries, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Viet Nam. I feel that China Wok food compares very favorably with any I've had ANYWHERE. Absolutely THE WORST CHINESE FOOD EVER!!! I joined Yelp just for them! I'm here visiting from San Francisco and the Chinese people of that town knows how put dog shit together and make it look decent. This place, wow. People who say this place is great need to compare it to frozen Chinese food and even that would still taste better. All their foods taste old and reused from nights before. DEFINITELY NOT FRESH ANYTHING!!! Why did the fried rice look so yellow and mushy? The meat, oh my gosh...felt sick after 3 bites. The owner drives a Lexus. Decent place to eat. Large selection on the buffet and most of everything we tried was really good. I think because the buffet is large they have a little trouble keeping everything full. Kind of a strange layout as well. Overall it was good. Will visit again. read more

My family has been going here since i was born so we know the staff quite well. I have never found a chinese restaurant with better crab ragoon. Its a nastalgic family spot. The food has changed over the years, some for the better and a little for the worse. But still the best place in my home town for a simple chinese meal. read more

One of the worse places I ever ate felt rush ,is a all u can eat buffet and after two plate they hand u the bill ,when I ask for a refill,they give u half glass ! Very rude people I will spread the word and never go back ! read more

This place is amazing for a little town that has nothing but a bunch of burger joints and pizza. Buffets always fresh and T is a awesome.

If you really want chinese for dinner,then call in your order.The last 5 or 6 times we ate there,the buffet was almost out of everything.If you call it in its hot and ready and usually pretty good.Being in Coshocton where no spicy food exists,the General Tso's is not spicy at all like it is in Columbus restaurants.Not my fav place to eat but we to get take out there once a month or so.Def DONT go close to closing time,last time we went there around 915pm the buffet food was cold and just about gone.They quit refilling it about 830 read more

Before they added their buffet this was one of my favorite places to eat. It seems that the quality of food went down once they became busy with filling the buffet. This is not to say that it isn't a good place to eat but if you want to sit down and order off the menu this place isn't it. read more

We ordered takeout from China Wok, and it was some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken and the general tsao's tasted exactly the same - sickly sweet, citrusy, and not even a little bit spicy. They also had no clue how to make pork fried rice. Instead, we ended up with jasmine rice with carrots and peas mixed in. Despite their prices, none of the entrees came with egg rolls. Granted, I'm from CT, so maybe the standard orders are a little different there. To top it all off, the service was super unprofessional. The girl working the front desk was talking on her cell phone - via earbuds - the entire time I was waiting for my order, despite the fact that people were coming in the whole time. read more
