Great takeout place. Has a few seats and tables, mostly set up for takeout. Great food, friendly staff.

Food isn't bad. The general tso chicken is good because it's sweet but not super sweet like most other restaurants. Owners are very nice and friendly

Cheap large eats, most bang for your buck for the broke college student. They're super quick and from what I've experienced don't skimp out on portions. Sure they're a lil greasy but I think that's part of their charm and if you're not super picky and want a full belly China Wok is for you :)

I love the lo mein here. Thicker noodles than the regular egg noodles you get everywhere else. The consistency and texture of the noodles are always perfect. I can scarf down a whole large container by myself. I've tried the fried rice, hot and sour soup, and chicken with black bean sauce. Everything was good, not overly fantastic, but it will get the job done. This place is the best alternative for cheap Chinese food if you are not willing to spend too much on food at Hunan. They deliver and most of the time, it's pretty quick except they do charge a small fee for it, but it's good on cold nights when you don't want to leave the house. Price are so reasonable. About $20 will give you about two meals for a couple.

Delicious Goop to smother your pork balls in.

Cheap food, fast delivery and friendly service. What more could a poor student ask for? Would I eat here if it wasn't for the situation...naaaah. Does it beat making Ramen noodles? You betcha! The food is descent, nothing spectacular. The pork balls are amazing when smeared with the glowing radioactive goop they give you (see pictures). The only thing I wouldn't ever order again is the egg drop soup. Pepper-overload! Other than that if you want cheap and descent order now!

China Wok is exactly what you want when it's late o'clock and you need something cheap, fast, and fried. Like all Chinese take-out places, it starts out cheap if you order simple, but the more and more things that you pile on, the more you spend. It's dangerous to order when starving. Most recently, they ended up at the wrong address. Instead of the dorm address that I gave, they ended up somehow at a house across town. It was definitely slower going than usual, but the driver was super nice about the whole thing, and even poked fun at himself by saying "Yeah, I'm here. I mean it this time, I have food and everything" and that made me smile. Their crab rangoon ($4.50) is pretty good. They come eight to an order, and are smaller pieces. There's not very much crab flavor (imitation crab or otherwise), but nonetheless they're pretty tasty. The egg rolls ($1.30 a piece) are also pretty good but a bit small for the price. For an entree, I usually get the Sweet and Sour Delight ($9.50). It's only available in one size, and is a combination of pork, chicken, and shrimp. This is pretty good too, but the sweet and sour sauce is terrible. I appreciate that they bag it separate. There's absolutely no chunks in the sauce- no pineapple, no pepper, nothing. It looks like red syrup. And it doesn't really taste like anything. It's like sprinkling magic red sauce on your meat to placebo the taste of sweet and sour. The chicken and pork is always well cooked, but the shrimps are so small. I expected bigger shrimp when getting them in an entree like this. The House Special fried rice ($7.95- Qt.) is okay too. It was under done. The pork still had cold fat on it, and the shrimp were a bit mush. Plus, the rice itself was anemic looking. The egg drop soup ($1.50) has always been great in the past, but most recently it just tasted like egg water. This place is inconsistent, and therein lies the problem. Sometimes, this food is the best late night decision ever. Sometimes, stuff is over or undercooked and slow. It's a mixed bag. All in all, it's a pretty decent place fit for a college budget. I'm sure I'll order again at some point.

Ordered the pork chop rice noodle soup, lu rou fan, and the yu choy with tofu in spicy tea. - though the wheat noodle version of the pork chop noodle soup came to our table, the pork chop was full size, crisp and great match for the soup - will need to double check with the staff which noodle is on my order next time. - the lu rou fan - we realized afterwards - they had forgotten to finish it off with a soy egg and mustard greens - still a good comfort food dish (though I prefer a pork belly version) - the yu choy in spicy tea was perfect with tofu since I didn't want to make the dish heavy with a meat. Spicy tea to me is like a spicy shrimp paste described as Malaysian style at other restaurants. this dish was solid veggie option to balance our other meat heavy dishes. - the hot and sour soup and egg roll were somewhat plain as included options on the lu rou fan and yu choy (would not ding them for this since I don't expect these sides as the star) - soda fountain option with Coke products Dining in experience is a bit dimly lit...maybe creating a more relaxed environment. Chinese/Taiwanese pop was playing.

Has a lack of competition around here. The menu has a pretty good variety for a small place. Came in and it wasn't busy. It's got a pretty okay amount of tables inside. This is located in a strip mall along with a few other local restaurants. Maybe this place gets overlooked. There were a few others inside, so they knew about it though. It's about $11 for an entree. The vegetarian ones include Tofu With Mushrooms. Crispy tofu without being burnt. Entrees also come with a soup. The fried onion was one of these. Has pretty good flavors for what it is, even for those not authentic. It's located on East Grand Avenue at Wall Street. There's plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
