I have yet to find Chinese take out that I enjoy in my area. The general tso's was like chicken fingers with super sweet sauce (more like sesame chicken, but not as good) no spice at all. The sauce on the chicken and broccoli was gelatinous which was very off putting. The fried rice was some of the worst, straight up tastes like rice cooked with soy sauce and nothing else. Food was extremely fresh, hot and nicely cooked. I ordered ahead as to not get stuck in the "lunch time rush" when I got the food was already waiting for me which made me pretty impressed because it was actually packed in there. Service was good the lady didn't have the normal Chinese restaurant attitude which was also impressive. The restaurant was in pretty good shape considering the location which is also a plus. Ok so my bf actually put me on to this place about a year ago and it has been my go-to spot ever since. I actually come here specifically when I have a taste for fried wings. In this area, they give you a good sized portion for the same price as any other place and they dont just come as plain fried like many other chinese food places. Ive personally had the plain fried, lemon pepper (which btw stays true to ATL being the best place for fire lemon pepper wings) their honey garlic and the bf lives by their general tso wings. They also have great specials and the staff is very friendly. I try not to be super biased coming from NY where the expectations for Chinese food and pizza run super high but you really cant ask for more from this place. Again I can really only speak to the wings and fried rice but they are delicious. read more

Had the sesame chicken with veggie fried rice. Sides of eggr oll and crab wontons, too. The sesame chicken was perfectly battered and the sauce was nice. Not my favorite I have ever had but definitely will order again. The rice was amazing! I was very happy with the amount of veggies I received, and quite an assortment too. The eggrolls were just okay, I felt like they lacked veggie in them as they were mushy inside with what looked like just meat. The outside was crunchy and perfect though. I come to China Wang when I want good Chinese food. I have had different entrees from here. I like their shrimp egg foo young,bean curd in garlic sauce,pepper steak. The chicken wings are always cooked to perfection like I like them. The shrimp egg rolls are good. The prices are fair. Ive heard about their lunch specials and I'm eagered to try. I should have known this place was going to be nasty! I don't trust Walmart or anything near it! Unfortunately for me these "reviews" mentioned great chines food and boy were they wrong! That one comment that mentioned everything tasted like ketchup was right! Their general Taos chicken was nothing but crispy bits because I tasted NO CHICKEN and it was overly crunchy! This place was just all around bad! The shrimp fried rice had like 7 mini shrimp in the entire meal. The shrimp egg roll was the size of my thumb and smelled and taste old even though it looked quite delicious. The one star is because they give you a lot of food to throw away (how considerate)!!! I work across the street from China Wong. Thank you God! The food is full of flavor, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is nice. The lunch combinations are around $6 and comes with a drink. They pack on the food so I always have more for the next day. You can't bet that! read more

I must say this is THE ONLY SPOT IN GEORGIA that makes authentic NY Chinese food..The rice, the chicken, the pork, everything on the menu. My husband and I tried China Wang for the first time tonight and there are no complaints. I ordered the house fried rice and egg rolls and he had the sesame chicken dinner combo. I like to visit little hole in the wall places and this was just that. It said "New York Style" on the window, and being from New England, I wondered if it would be any good.... I'm glad the place was cheap, because if I had spent any more than I did, I would have been really aggravated. I got teriyaki chicken (chicken sticks), crab rangoons, and boneless ribs. The chicken was awful and bright red, and did not really have the properties of chicken. The crab rangoon shells were very brittle and broke as soon as you touched them, and the filling, usually my favorite thing ever, was just plain and flavorless. The "boneless ribs" were julienne style bits of pork, and the sauce on the ribs was really bad, so I actually threw them in a strainer, rinsed them, and put sweet and sour sauce on them to make them better.
