AMAAAZINGLY FAST & SUPER TASTY! THE WILL CRITIQUE TO YOUR LIKING. I like stronger tasting Mei Fun, NOT spicier & I say well done as I've learned. They know what to do! Very personanable gal at front & repeats order before you walk away. Worth my 1/2 drive but eat in. Not fancy but clean & comfortable read more

Was really craving Chinese food so my mom and I stopped by. They have a nice menu and they have a dinner special that gives you a main, fried rice, and an egg roll for around $12. Soooooo much food in each order. I also love the cream cheese wontons. Not the best Chinese food I've ever had but the eggrolls and cream cheese wontons were so good that I had to rate them highly. The interior doesn't have many tables so keep that in mind if you stop by. It took about 10 minutes for our food to be made after we ordered. read more

The owner, very funny. The young man is working too many hours. I edit the food later. Now about the food. It was absolutely delicious. Plentyful. You can't finish all in one setting. We traveling from California. Chinese food over there ducks big time. One advice would be that Chinese people love their tea with food. And that will take one star away. Tea must be served with Chinese food. Why do I know? I travel to China as a Sailor on American ships. Nigbo, Shanghai, etc. So I eat Chindse food all the time. Please add Hot Tea. read more

We ordered sesame chicken dinner combo, sweet sour chicken combo, cream cheese puffs and egg rolls. The whole experience was great. Small establishment and the food was super good. The sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken was hot and the cream cheese wontons were absolutely amazing. Everything was amazing. We will definitely return. read more

The food was pretty darn good. Shall I say, excellent? We stopped in around 3:30pm, ordered three dishes. The combo orders and Steamed Vegtables with Rice order all came out quickly and hot. The staff were all very hospitable and happy to have our business. Prices were very reasonable and the place was clean. I would recommend this China Taste restaurant. IT IS DELICIOUS! read more

Went in for the lunch special today food was so good! They went above and beyond serving our food added extra sauce and sesame seeds, always awesome! read more

Great food. Really enjoyed the fried rice and egg foo young!! Will definitely be eating here soon.

I tried China taste based on a recommendation from my nephew who has worked as a cook in a number of different restaurants in the area. I have to say I was very pleased with almost everything I ordered. I ordered the shrimp toast, spicy shrimp, General Tao, beef and broccoli, egg foo yong, pork fried rice, and the eggrolls. Everything was wonderful except for the eggrolls. They were very small and had a funny flavor to them. I will go back and try other things on the menu but I suggest staying away from the eggrolls. read more

This is by far the best Chinese food place in the state. Service is always top tier, food is second to none. Whenever I want Chinese food I will go out of my way to come here. read more

Service is fantastic, everyone is very nice! As an avid sesame chicken lover I believe this is the best sesame chicken I have ever had. Lunch specials are super cheap and great amount of food. Love this place! read more

China Taste is my family's go to Chinese restaurant. We will go out of our way to order when taste buds are a calling.

China Taste is good quick takeout for a fair price. Even with the limited selection of Chinese restaurants, China Taste stands out as the best in a pretty wide area. They're very accommodating with your orders for picky people and if you order enough they sometimes throw in a free order of cream cheese wontons. Staff is friendly, food is hot and ready. You rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes for even a large order. read more

Every time I call in an order, I marvel at how efficient the people are at answering the phone and taking an order, often while multitasking and taking payment. The food is always tasty. We always get enough for the next day. read more

Best Chinese! Great portions and prices. Fast and convenient. The Happy Family is a must have

American Chinese food has a tendency to mold together into an unrecognizable amorphous blob of unremarkable nothingness but this place stands out from the abundance of plainness. At this point, I feel as though I have ordered just about every item on the menu and it's always been solid. (I recommend the sweet and sour chicken. The sauce is tremendous. This dish is especially typical at other places but here it leaves a lasting impression.) I would recommend getting your order to go because there is not a lot of seating available, but the scattered handful of tables available are usually empty. The food is made to order and the service is quick and efficient. Very hip hole in the wall establishment providing wicked good food to small town community. read more

Great chicken lo mein and best cream cheese won tons!!! Friendly and fast service and everyone raves about this place!

Good food and service. They will bend over backwards to please the costomer.gpod people

We recently moved to North Branch from the cities. We were pleasantly surprised to find there is good Chinese food up here! The orange chicken is fantastic, and has some bits of orange peel in it. The wontons have been crispy and very nice both times we've had them. It has never taken more than 10 minutes from when we call to order to picking it up. Fast and tasty! read more

Very happy with most of the take out entrees we have tried so far, especially the Specialty dishes. Prices are fair. The spring rolls are really good but I don't recommend the egg rolls (I've had frozen ones that were better). read more

I stopped in -after the lunch time and thought I'd just order off the menu. The lunch buffet was still set up and I got a variety of things. This is the first local Chinese place that has Tasty fried rice! The mystery chicken and breading was not good but the broccoli/ meat combination was! They tasted fresh too. I will return read more

They have a buffet type luncheon in which you pick two meats and a rice. It is a decent price. They are quite busy during lunch so the food is often quite fresh because they are constantly replacing it. I give four stars because i know how great this place was when they first opened. I believe they have gone to either premade ingredients or to a different, less quality product. It's good, but it used to be superb. I no longer am that excited when we decide to eat here. The people who work there are super great. read more

Terrible food. Shrimp was all mushy breading and the chowmein had large uncooked pieces of celery that made the whole meal disgusting. I will never go back. read more

Yummy food for a decent price! The Lunch Express is a great quick option! Definitely glad I tried this place! My toddler likes the pork fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken which shocked me since he doesn't normally choose meat. read more

Amazing food, Kind and Friendly staff. I love going here when I am in town to visit my daughter and grandchildren. I also like how you can see the cooks stir frying in the wok's from the counter. They are highly skilled and professional. My personal favorites are the Hot sour soup, Mongolian beef, moo shu chicken, and sesame chicken. My wife loves the szechuan beef and cream cheese wontons. To the owners and the staff, you are all awesome. read more

Been going here for years but tonight it was down right awful! We had meat wontons and they were so overcooked. Almost burnt. The regular cream cheese wontons had a strong taste of old oil. It definitely needs to be changed. Even our house fried rice was not nearly as good as usual. Very disappointed. I'm afraid it's time to take a break for a good long time. read more

On our way from the Twin Cities to the north shore we stopped in North Branch for a quick bite. Thanks to Yelp we skipped the Denny's and McDonalds junk and went right for the delightful China Taste. Quick, friendly and very good quality. I live in Minneapolis and none of the 3 or 4 Chinese takeout places nearby can hold a candle to China Taste in North Branch. Too bad they don't deliver to Mpls! read more

China Taste - Best fortune ever! - Chinese Near Me - North Branch, Minnesota

This is the only option in town, but it's good food. They're super quick at making everything and generally get the orders right. It's definitely not as good as some Chinese places you'll find closer to the cities, but it hits the spot when you have that craving and don't want to drive far! read more

Incredible always! We will drive out of our way just to swing by and pick up some China Taste. Even when we have people from out of town over they request a trip to China Taste. The food is amazing, always fresh and hot. The woman at the front counter is genuine and kind every time. Incredible food and service!!! read more

This is a hole-in-the-wall carry out with some table service. But the food is excellent, especially for the price. I've seen similar places that serve canned stuff, all using the same sauce. Not here. The fried dumplings are fresh made and tasty. Hot and sour soup is delightfully both. Hunan beef was terrific. read more

Portions here are huge. Prices are cheap. Wontons are amazing and melt in your mouth. They have a little lunch buffet that you can also take to go, with once again huge portions. Customer service is superior. read more

Great food, great service! Their won tons are by far the best I've ever had. The shrimp fried rice was good too, but if you don't like onions, make sure to order it without them as they use a lot of huge chunks. The woman at the counter was polite and worked quickly, and the food was ready in a timely manner. This is going to be my go-to place when I go to North Branch from now on! read more

Best Chinese food around! Love their General Tso's chicken!

Fantastic! Cranked heat up on Szehuan perfectly. Veggies crisp and hot. Stream of locals Sat. noon takeout. Authentic.

today I ordered over the phone as I always do but for some reason she wrote my order wrong went in to get it fixed and they charge me for the missed food and now I got home food was cold and spicy chicken was not hot and very watery. In my opinion they dropped the ball i thought customer are right when they are apparently arguing with a customer is the way they went. so disappointed in the customer service. big thumbs down. hope its not a sign of things to come? phone 612-201-4501 read more
