It is a Michelin recognized (i.e., fancy) authentic Szechuanese restaurant. While I can't comment on the authenticity, the flavors are deeper and bolder than any Chinese cuisine I've ever had. My brother and I fight over which is better, the boiling fish or the dry pot. Really, everything we've had has been excellent. It's possible to go affordable here with something like a fried rice dish, but I recommend being adventurous and trying something new. Every dish is sharing size and a table of two could eat their fill with one or two dishes. They get busy during peak times but they're good at turning tables and I've never had a bad wait. I'll note that the food comes out suspiciously quick, seemingly regardless of what we order it takes around 5-10 minutes, even when we brought a larger party.

I've been going here for yearsssss and love their hot & sour soup and sushi rolls. Their food, sushi & kitchen, is always made to order. Never the so-called premade, re-heated, bs that other reviews suggest. Including their fried rice. This is also why so some food may take longer to make/be ready at time of pick up. They make the food in the order they receive it via ticket. I'd rather my food be made fresh, and in the order that the ticket of my order comes through to the kitchen, than premade and boxed. Also "extra crispy" just means it's cooked longer... the natural nature of togo condensation will obviously make any " crispy" (extra fried/cooked) food just as "soggy" or whatever. Considering the time that it takes to pick it up and take it home... No, I don't know the owner. This is my own personal experience.

My family and I always order way too many dishes when we come here, and there's always enough left over to take home and enjoy later. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food can take a while to come out, and the checkout process is also pretty slow. When I showed her a picture of what I expected, just a regular crispy lemongrass tofu I have had at a million thai restaurants, she said theirs just comes wet.
