This place used to be the best place to get Chinese food absolutely hands-down, the best. The last time we ordered the food was not only substandard but gross. we knew it had changed hands, but so far the quality had not changed from the fact that there was zero flavor in the chicken to the orange chicken changing so much that it was almost sweet-and-sour chicken and super soggy to the fact the egg rolls had zero flavor and they were soggy as well to the fact that I ordered wonton soup got one wonton and one egg drop when we opened it up the wonton soup tasted like dirty dish water and the egg soup had macaroni noodle noodles in it that should speak volumes. To say we were disappointed in the order that we spent $100 on tip understatement when I let the restaurant know how terrible it was and how disappointed we were and asked if they had changed chefs they said they had not. I don't even know how to explain the disappointment.. I wish I could get zero stars read more

I recently went to China Recipe for dinner. I ordered what I thought was a " mild" pad Thai and a small egg drop soup. Got it home , ate 1/2 of the soup which was delicious. Then I started in on the pad Thai. I took two bites . It was so spicy I couldn't eat an more! Mild? No way! I offered it to my husband the next day- he took one bite and said no way could he eat it- too spicy. Should I have specified I wanted mild - don't know .It said it was mild. I'm giving 5 star rating to China recipe. The orange chicken is good the general Taos chicken ,the broccoli beef ,the crab wontons. And the portions are big; It is a small quaint little restaurant; if you want to go in; or you can get delivery.... There is a certain things on the menu that I would not order ,the chicken pad Thai, being one of them, I don't recommend it; it taste fishy! I love this place it's so close to home! We are from out of town actually staying in Calhan Colorado 18 miles away from here. Looking for some tasty food and came along this Chinese place on Yelp. So we took the trip and was very pleased. Actually very happy with this place. It took us a big longer to get here because of weather. We got here 10 minutes before closing and asked if they were still seating. With no problem they sat us. Service was fast and pleasant. My husband got the combination lo mien which is basically spaghetti noodles instead of lo mien noodles. But the flavor was good. I got the sesame chicken and LOVED the flavor and then I felt the burn. Lots of pepper flakes in it. Normally I have not had sesame chicken spicy anywhere else. But it was good. The curry chicken was ok. And the egg rolls were actually spring rolls. But they were also eaten and good. The fried rice wasn't anything to write home about and the Mongolian Beef had good flavor but was soft, it didn't have that glazed texture that really makes the dish. We ordered for carry-out. The service was quick. I really wanted to like this place for the convenience factor of it being on my husband's way home from work. Kung Pao Chicken was very bland - no spice at all. Full of chopped up water chestnuts and little chicken. The steamed rice was dry. We also ordered the General Chicken. It was over cooked and over sauced (soggy). It too, was bland and not spicy. Bottom line: don't spend your money here. That was just not worth the $25. read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in my area. Mainly because the lady who delivers our food is the brightest star in the galaxy. My dogs hate everyone but they love this woman. So kind and very quick. The food is pretty good, i love their orange chicken and sesame chicken. Their delivery service is a huge plus because I'm lazy but I make sure to tip well, especially when that lady comes. Great service, great food, great choice. read more

The people are friendly and the lo mein tastes good though I've recently noticed they're using some canned vegetables. I'm not too happy about that. My friend ordered mixed vegetables with rice and it was full of trash pieces of bok choy. Not only was it not impressive flavor wise, its appearance was rather nasty looking. Pretty good food, have dined in and gotten takeout. Not too thrilled with the trend of skimping on the rice given with a meal, and then charging for more when the amounts are small to begin with. Rice should be one of the cheapest things you can provide. However, they are not the only place to do this. I guess it's not understood that little things like enough rice with your meal without charging you for it can mean more to the customer than the measly few cents it costs to provide it. Their deep fried beef is crunchy, and their sesame sauce is thick and flavorful. However, again, they skimp on the sauce served and charge $2 for a small cup. Their General Tso sauce is also tasty and thick. Their staff is friendly, although they don't always understand, verbally. read more

The sesame chicken was delicious, a few pieces were just breading though. The rice was perfectly cooked. Delivery took only 30 minutes, as they told me on the phone. Food was hot upon arrival. This is the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. We have been coming here for about 3 years and have NEVER been disappointed. We have tried just about everything in the menu and is all great. My personal favorites are the kungpao chicken, the thai basil chicken is delicious. The Mongolian beef is excellent. Also the pork lo mein. All the entrees have good quality cuts of meat, nothing weird. The price is so reasonable as well. $5.95 for a very satisfying lunch with soup, eggroll and cheese Wonton. For a Chinese spot in a shopping center in Falcon its not bad! The food is priced well for the portions you get and the staff is friendly and prompt. The decor is nice and it's always well maintained when I've gone in there with my family. My only complaint is that they over do it on the sauce. With all the dishes I've had there they are literally soupy and the sauce over powers the dish. There water is a bit funny tasting too. However, I do like their egg drop soup with crab ragoons!
