Best Pork Fried Rice in Wilmington!! The food is clean, very well-priced, and delicious. The staff is polite and professional. Fried rice had nothing but yellow rice. No egg, onions carrots or anything else resembling Chinese fried rice. Egg roll was drenched in grease and had strange unfamiliar flavors. While in Wilmington, which has numerous Chinese restaurants. I tried China One, I ordered chicken and broccoli spicy with white rice and a large egg drop soup. The food was delicious and the people working there was very nice. Sorry no pics, devoured the food. Lol. read more

This place has saves me time after time with quick preparation and a huge menu (like the most expansive I've ever seen) to choose from. My personal favorite part, they have THE best vegetable soup I've ever had. The broth is clean (no visible fat/grease and low sodium), flavorful and packed full of veggies (broccoli, carrot, celery, onion, whole mushrooms, baby corns and water chestnuts). Yum! Generals chicken resembled a cheap microwave dinner with a hint of three week old broccoli left to fester in the humidity of a southern July. I've eaten at virtually every Chinese food restaurant in New Hanover county, and this is my favorite, of the strip-mall variety. The menu is fairly typical for the sort, but what sets this restaurant apart from others is the friendliness of the staff, the speed of the kitchen, and the price. The usual Americanized menu items are all there, and the sauces are flavorful and fresh. Vegetables are always crisp and plentiful. The chicken is tender, and of good quality. We fed a family of 4 on Christmas Eve for under $30, and had plenty of leftovers. Take advantage of their punch-card promotion, and get a free combo meal after a certain number of visits. I'd certainly recommend China One for takeout, and don't mind driving a little further across town to do so. read more

Love this place! The food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Never greasy. Great deal on the delicious dumplings. We always order them steamed. I think it is a husband and wife staff. She takes the orders & he does the cooking. She is always very friendly and has such a wonderful way of greeting the customers as I'd they had been coming to this restaurant for years. Very clean and quaint, small seating. My only complaint ... I know they are a family, but it was distracting to have their child play in the dinning room. Granted, I was waiting for my pick up & was the 2nd customer at the time , ( it was about 8:30 PM) . I just got off work. The last thing I wanted to see & hear was little boy playing & throwing his toy over and over toward the ceiling fan while I was waiting for my food watching the news on the TV that is there for the customers to relax and enjoy while there. I was beat & wanted to decompress. Hey, I've got kids of my own, sometimes getting a sitter is tough , but it is still a business no matter how many customers are there. Maybe get a sitter? We always get the same exact thing each week-General Tso's and Sesame Chicken with Vegetable Fried rice and Vegetable Egg Roll and a Large House Lo Mein. It is the only chinese my boys love!
