Great food! Our go-to Chinese cuisine. We have always done takeout so we cannot comment on delivery times. From vegetarian options to meat, we've loved it all! One time they forgot an extra container of white rice we ordered but, without evidence, happily offered to give us an extra the next time we visited. We're all humans and mistakes happen. Our favorites are their general tso's chicken and the general tso's tofu. Their paper takeout menus have coupons on the bottom for a free soda with orders over a certain dollar amount... which is a nice little perk! Really strange to see all of the bad reviews. I can honestly say that I've tried almost every Chinese place in the Parsippany and surrounding areas. There is really barely any even edible Chinese. Everything I've had from here has been delicious. I tried the beef and broccoli,fried rice, egg rolls , and Fried dumplings. So I used to love coming here. Not anymore! I placed an order at 5:35pm got it around 6:45. They told me 30-45 minutes for delivery which was bs. I understand sometimes it being busy and not on time. But, this is a continuous thing. Some of the food was cold but we were just happy to eat at this point. We ate our food and went on about our day. Later in the night 3 out of 4 of us got sick. We thought oh maybe we just the flu or something. But, something just told me to check the food. I checked the food around 3pm due to sleeping all day because of feel like crap. Looked through the food and the chicken was half cooked. So we all had eaten raw chicken. Well, atleast 3 of us did. After noticing that, I called to ask for a refund. Guy seemed nice then he put me on the phone with the manager. She goes "I'm sorry ma'am about that. Is there any thing else we can do?" I said "no just want our money back". Manager " I'm sorry we cannot give you a refund with out a DOCTORS NOTE" I said "ma'am I don't have health insurance right now, I've been a paying customer for years. The least you can do is give me my money back" she goes "well no we aren't going to do that without a doctors note saying you have food poisoning." I replied and said "you will be getting sued". Moral of the story don't come here you'll get raw food a then told you can't get your money back and long delivery time..... Don't understand how you don't feel bad that you made people sick because you served them raw food. Just take my advice and don't get scammed at this place. I will not be returning! read more

Update. I tried this place a LONG time ago when we were looking for our go-to Chinese food place and didn't love it. Last week I was in the area and decided to give them another shot with some basics. I needed dinner and leftovers for lunch for the next day so I decided to get two egg rolls (pork), fried dumplings, chicken and broccoli and roast pork fried rice. I remembered not liking the egg rolls last time, but these tasted much better and they weren't oil/greasy, however, they could use a little more pork. The dumplings were actually pretty good, taste was there, but they were a little thick...I know this can vary in a place based on who makes them so I won't beat them up for this. The chicken and broccoli and fried rice were fine...didn't 'wow' me, but they wouldn't keep me from coming back either. Overall I think this place was good, but it won't become my 'go-to' Chinese food. read more

Ordered from China One and received Egg Rolls that were 'old', not crisp. Definitely left overs. In addition, there was no cutlery and could not eat half my food. There was no condiments, i.e. hot mustard, soy etc. I ordered a 2-liter bottle of Diet Pepsi and received 2ea of 20fl oz that were 8-months old. Decided to give China One a chance when I went to Hunan Taste with a friend for takeout and its was going to cost me 17.48 for just General Tso's Chicken. No rice or eggrolls with that, it was extra... So our friend lived close to China One and said the food was pretty good, and we could by everyone's dinner for the price of one at Hunan. So I figure, why not I'm all for getting more for less. So we placed an order for 3 combination dinners and a few sides of soups and eggrolls. It took about 10 minutes to get the whole thing. Everything was fresh, I watched them first fry my chicken, and then cook it some more in the wok with the General Tso's sauce. The food was pretty good, I could really complain for what I got, at half the price too! read more

Got takeout from here via DoorDash. Ordered General Tso's Combo (with fried rice and an egg roll) and the Chicken Lo Mein. We've been to this place before and some dishes were good, some dishes were disgusting, but we gave them a few more chances. My husband bought lunch today and I found a very long strand of hair in my bowl. I called to tell them, the lady offered a free meal, so, when I told her we're not coming back but maybe she'd consider wearing a hair net, she said "ok, we'll consider doing something about that. Bye" We also ordered dumplings, which tasted like they were cooked in a rush. If you say "10 min" and rush to cook disgusting food or don't have time to tie your hair and wear a hair net, maybe you should take your time and say "20 min" like the other places. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! We ordered from this place yesterday afternoon through DoorDash because it had high reviews and was one of the only Chinese food places open around us (thanks to the virus). Ordering through DoorDash was easy. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken MILD and Chicken Lo Mein with EXTRA chicken, easy right?? Well 30 minutes after placing our order the DD driver called me from the restaurant to let me know our order had been giving to a different driver and they didn't want to make us a new order (most of the conversation between the two happened while I was on the phone) They went back and forth for almost 10 minutes about the order then finally made a new one. When my order finally arrived it was WRONG. The General Tso's was SPICY and since I can't eat spicy food it went into the GARBAGE, there was BARELY any chicken in the Lo Mein and the rest of the food just out right SUCKED!! We ended up throwing away close to $40 of the order after attempting to call the restaurant with NO ANSWER!! I then contacted DoorDash to inform them of what happened and to apologize to the driver AGAIN for being treated so RUDELY by the employees at this place. I understand times are extremely rough right now with everything going on but if you can't handle it, CLOSE until you can. Placed an order of Fried Dumplings, recieved steamed, they claimed that they were pan fried, but the dough was soggy and wet, I called and asked about my problem and they agreed to give me my money return, so I told them I'll be right there, then they called back two minutes later to tell me they don't do refunds??? Once upon a time this was the place to get Chinese takeout from. Sadly no more. The quality of their cooking has steadily gone downhill. The pork fried rice had no taste whatsoever, it was like eating candle wax. The BBQ spareribs were way overdone and were barely chewable. The General Tso's chicken is suppose to be crispy and spicy. It had no taste and felt like it was leftover fried chicken from a week ago, covered by a soggy flour layer. The wonton soup wasn't too bad though it required more salt. And I'm not a fan of heavily salted food. The egg roll and the fortune cookies were the only foods that had taste. I'm guessing that their cooks are on low sodium diets, or that they've run out of soy sauce and other spices required in the correct preparation of what they sell. Our food was absolutely disgusting. When we called to complain the very rude woman told us to bring our food back for a refund, so I did. She told me we ate half of it. Idk why the reviews on this place are so low. They are really fresh and tasty. Totally underrated place! Their shrimp or house chow fun is great! Lunch specials are comparable to other Chinese food places in the area. The veggies in their dishes are really fresh!! The only thing that would be a tad different is the egg drop soup which wasn't as thick as other Chinese places, bc they use fresh broth instead of a bunch of grease and cornstarch. read more

From our house we have a lot of options for Chinese food delivery so this was our first time ordering from here and it will probably be our new go to. When it comes to Chinese food, I love the appitizers and just want to sample the entrees. China One offers family sampler platters that serves my needs perfectly. For $27 we had egg rolls, spring rolls, soup, crab rangoon, rice, noodles, and General Tso's chicken for 3 people plus left overs: best deal in town. The quality of the food was good and the General Tso's was crispy and delicious. The wonton soup served up 3 bowls of deeply brown, flavorful broth and 3 wontons each. Just started working in the area and decided to try them out, ordered delivery for lunch and it took about an hour and 15 minutes to get there. Ordered the chicken with cashew nuts and fried dumplings. The chicken with cashew nuts had maybe 4-5 cashews and about 5 pieces of chicken, was filled with vegetables, now it's not that I don't like veggies, but then I would have ordered accordingly, food was bland too, lacking flavor. read more
