The egg drop soup was excellenT. I should have stuck with that but I ordered a lunch special (curry chicken) -which was inedible. First, the onion wasn't even cut up-just huge slivers of onion which had no taste and the onion was 80% of the veggie. I'm talking about Can't Get It On My Fork large. I won't bother describing the 2 miniscmule slices of carrot and 2 peas. The rice tasted like it was from Rice-A-Roni. I can't say the chicken was bad. I used to come here all the time and the food was at least standard Chinese-to pretty tasty. I don't know if it is the Sunday team that works there or not but I wouldn't advise takeout from here. I like China King. What I don't like is when I pay for extra ingredients, but I don't receive them when I get my food.

There are literally only two Chinese food places in town and this would be the one I recommend. You can't heist their price and volume they serve you. Never eaten in but looks clean and staff are always nice when I walk in and pick up my order. Recommend orange chicken extra spicy over general tso chicken and the wife loves the broccoli beef. read more

IAM SO ANGRY! Horrible experience, called order in, talked to a guy that could barelyp speak English, told us the price and how long will it be before we can pick it up. I order from this place all the time while at work. I place my usual and they delivered it completely WRONG! I called to complain, in which they issued a credit. I called to utilize my credit and they would not deliver to me, as she said I would have to pay $15. Mindful that they delivered me the WRONG order but now would not deliver my correct order. I have had good experiences in the past but not tonight. This is a stream of consciousness review where I will update as time goes on. An hour and a half ago I ordered food and just called to find out where it was and the person answering the phone was very rude, said the delivery guy left a few minutes ago with 5 different orders. This did nothing to make me feel better, especially since our food could be cold. Doing 5 deliveries at least a couple orders are going to be cold. I got off the phone with the guy 10 minutes ago. Food still not here. My SO is pissed, daughter hungry... Thinking about calling again and asking for a refund. 10-15 more minutes pass, gf calls and they say they only have one delivery driver, apologize, but say the food is on the way still. I am sympathetic they have to deal with this stuff. Food finally arrived about 2 hours late. Of course it was cold, or rather room temp-ish. Microwaved to heat up a bit, was fine I guess. Will probably feel sick soon but that's chinese for you. Feel bad for the delivery driver, he looked defeated when he arrived. I'm sure customers took out their bad experience on him. I've ordered here before and this same delivery drive was about 20 minutes early. The guy hustles at his job. Anyway, I will not be ordering here again for a very long time, if ever. read more

First time ordering from here. Complex review. First time back in Belleville have lived here for four years, and then away for two, now on the opposite end of town that I used to. Also, we're in the midst of Covid. Neither of these things seemed to be an impediment in getting me the Chinese food I wanted. Their menu was online, and they answered their phone nearly immediately. I had no trouble placing my order. The person told me 45 minutes (which is a little longer than I'd liked to have waited, but...) the order arrived nearly exactly 45 minutes later. I really appreciate accurate wait times! I don't like to be told 20 minutes if it's really gonna be 30... So, I like that. Anyway, we got MooShu Pork, Pork Egg Foo Young combo platter, and Sesame Chicken combo platter. (the conbo platters came with fried rice (we opted for pork-fried-rice) and egg rolls.) It arrived hot and was ALL delicious. Particularly delicious pork fried rice. Really the only critique I have (in case the owner is reading) would be to include some cayenne pepper packets in the go bag... there was plenty of soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce packets, but no red pepper. All in all, excellent food and excellent service! Will definitely try them again! read more

Sunday, October 18 I placed an order for delivery at 2:20 and did not receive it until 4:15. I first called about my order at 3:30 and told it was out for delivery. I am only a mile and a half from the store so it shouldn't have taken very long to get it. At 3:50 when I still didn't have my order I called again and was told that the delivery driver had taken multiple orders for delivery but was told they would contact the driver and make sure my order was delivered next. At 4:05 I called to cancel because I still did not have my order and was told that the driver was on the way. I was given the current location of the driver and decided I would give it 10 more minutes. I did receive it within that time and surprisingly the food was still warm. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Food tastes good. Unfortunately we live about five minutes away and none of the food was hot when we got it home. It wasn't even just warm it was actually cold. This has always been one of my favorite Chinese takeouts however I had a bad experience with the staff and food today. First off the American woman was very rude and unprofessional. I had left a coupon at home and made me drive all the way home to get it before giving me my food. Once I got back she hid. Then I got home and my food was cold. I called back about my order and she said it wasn't her problem. I said thanks for treating your customers so rudely and she said "haha no problem" and hung up. Very unprofessional as an employee to treat a customer that way. Along with my food being cold, my broccoli was on the verge of being raw. Too hard and crunchy. I would say they make decent chinese food, but every time I order chow mein I end up with soup that they try and convince me is chow mein. When I cannot order my favorite dish I would rather go without, not to mention being told that chow mein on their menu looks nothing like what they serve.
