this has to be one of the worst Chinese food experiences we've ever had! If we didn't drive a half hour home with our takeout food, I would've gone back and returned it! wonton soup completely bland with no flavor. It might as well be water. The eggrolls were very greasy The shrimp lo mein was completely dry. Almost no sauce at all on it. The fried rice had very little flavor and dry as well The sesame chicken, although the flavor was OK... The quality of the actual chicken was subpar to say the least. The chicken pieces were basically all filler with a little bit of chicken (if it was even chicken). The pack of fried noodles smelled old and tasted old and stale. I can't think of another time where I have wasted $30 so foolishly! we will NEVER return! they should be ashamed of themselves, but something tells me they don't care because they don't even care about the quality of their food. read more

Stay with me with this story, they are mean people. About six months ago I was not in my hometown and I placed an order at this location, in my hometown. I realized I called the wrong place within 5 minutes and canceled the order. I call tonight to place an order all is well until they see what happened last time bus my number . After that the woman on the phone became horrible and talked over me, when I was trying to thank them for understanding last time. She talked over me saying bye, pickup order in 15, then hung up on me. I call back and asked if there was an issue and she said yes, I mentioned she did not have to be so rude with me and she started raising her voice and repeating how they do not care if I pick up the order and started yelling at me. I asked her to cancel my order and I hung up as she was yelling something else at me. I had absolutely no ill intention and this was a horrible experience. If I picked up the order I would only assume it would have been tampered with. After going through the reviews I am happy it ended this way. I wouldn't want bugs in my food. read more

The friendly people at China King have great service, but the food is too heavily breaded. From the dumplings to the General Tso's shrimp to the egg rolls, the food is too heavy. The vegetable dumplings had great flavor in the filling, but the dough was too thick. The General Tso's shrimp too was flavorful, but had far too much batter around each shrimp. And the egg roll's filling was good, but the roll was too thick. The service was good and they packed everything expertly. They give a free 32oz soda for take out orders over $40. Excellent food and wonderful people that run this place. I consider this to be a take only place and while they have tables folks are there for take out. If you spend $25 or more they always add in the chicken balls. It's hard to explain but very tasty. My wife is sodium restricted and they make the sauce on the side. I highly recommend this place. All you have to do is ask and they will make your food to order. read more

This is one of the better Chinese food places to go in the area. Good food and good value. I get a large chicken and broccoli with rice and a large wonton soup. It's about $14 and I get three meals out of it. read more

We've ordered from here before and been very satisfied. Not sure what was going on tonight but EXTREMELY disappointed. We ordered both steamed and fried dumplings. Fried dumplings maybe had 1-2 barely browned at all. Flavored ok, but not great. Ordered shrimp toast - completely overdone/borderline burnt and inedible. A shame as I was looking forward to the yummy ones I had last time. Beef sticks were dry and flavorless. Wonton soup was watery, flavorless, and the wontons themselves were doughy and the neat inside was flavorless. Husband ordered lemon chicken. Lemon sauce watery and barely tasted like lemon. I ordered a dinner combo because I like fried rice and an egg roll and my husband does not. I got neither of those sides with our order. I will say, the sesame chicken I ordered was probably the best food in the whole order. Over $60 through GrubHub - next time I'll order somewhere else. Money down the drain. read more
