I have been ordering from China Wok for years and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the shrimp and broccoli. I order it steamed with the sauce on the side. The broccoli is always cooked perfectly and the large shrimp are delicious. Service is good and the order is always ready for pickup. I will be a customer for life. read more

Ol' reliable China Wok. Fast. Fresh. And glad we have them around the corner. Ribbies here are like candy. I like the curry chicken , the mass pile of crab Rangoon is exciting to see behind the register, solid Lomein, but you have to ask for an order of wings with garlic sauce.... Greatest show on surf. They're dynamite. Here's a picture of them. read more

China Wok - Wings with garlic sauce. Order these twice a year to keep it special - Chinese Near Me - Manahawkin, New Jersey

China Wok is our go-to spot for Chinese food. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, and they're super consistent every time we order. Fast, reliable, and exactly what we crave when we want good takeout. Easily our favorite local Chinese place! read more

Strictly take out, this establishment is very clean, has pleasant personnel and the food is consistently good.

Tried this place for the first time and unfortunately it will be my last. Food has no taste, very bland.

I have to say that I have ordered from here a countless number of times and the food has always been great. By the time we get the food its still hot and fresh. I honestly cannot say that my family has ever been disappointed with anything we have ordered. They also make the food very quickly. The only down side is they have no delivery, which would be great. read more

Everything is great. The food and the people who work there. The distinct from where I live too go there is great.

Good restaurant with tasty food. I also appreciate that when a mistake was made, the restaurant immediately refunded our money. I understand mistakes get made, and when the restaurant takes accountability that goes a long way with me. Definitely a great take out spot with nice people working. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place There food was always excellent ever since I moved to this area but the order that I made today was well over $100 bcuz I was that certain that they would not disappoint me Well damn was I wrong EVERYTHING I ORDERED WAS DISAPPOINTING BEYOND BELIEF Vegetables were over cooked shrimp was over cooked chicken was over cooked and tough to chew It's a shame bcuz I will never attempt to try this establishment again and for the amount of money I spent I would expect better quality than what we received also this was on a Saturday afternoon and yes it was busy but that's no excuse for poor quality food actually it should be just the opposite I would think ‍ read more

Visiting my parents, dad wanted to grab lunch. This place is pretty close to the house, so he wanted to just pick it up. I ordered steamed dumplings and pork fried rice. The dumplings were really good. They had a thick dumpling shell and the pork was delicious. They also came with a really good ginger sauce. The fried rice was ok. It was a bit dry. I mean I prefer that to a greasy mess, but even putting sauce on it didn't help. Also while the pork was abundant, I really didn't get much egg. I did like the peas though, not many places do that. Hit the spot for lunch, I don't think it's my go to place in the area though. read more

Very good and fresh. I ordered the steamed chicken and vegetables with white sauce off of the healthy menu, which I order from all the Chinese restaurants lol. This was one of the best I've had in a long time, to the point where I actually decided to make this review. Excellent read more

Chinese Food, call your order ahead, all take, All family members work there, extremely friendly, food delicious.

Used to be very good before COVID. Dumplings were the best and a weekly order. Gave it a chance again today and Ordered cold noodles. Undercooked spaghetti noodles instead of "Think soba, ramen, udon, somen, or udon noodles". Come on Man. read more

We're new to the area and needed a good chinese take out place to order from. After reading a bunch of reviews for different places we chose this one and so goad we did! The restaurant itself when i went to pick up our food was very clean and neat. The food was done fairly quick. My fiance got the chicken and broccoli combo and he loved it. I got the green jade vegetable with snow peas, green beans, broccoli, brown rice and the brown sauce from the healthy menu. It was delicious! Over all a great experience and definitely will be back! read more

Really surprised how well they make their General Tso Chicken. It's not all fried fluff. There's more chicken then the coating. And it's not overpowered with too strong of a salty flavor for their Chinese Chicken and vegetable. Good take out for the area. read more

China Wok - a piece of meat on a fork - Chinese Near Me - Manahawkin, New Jersey

Friendly staff. Awesome food. Never disappoints. Everything is always fresh. Fast service

Great locally owned Chinese take out place. Fast SUPER friendly service. Menu has everything you'd expect at very good prices. Steamed dumplings were fantastic! They do not skimp on the filling and the dipping sauce had a touch of heat. Crab Rangoon and the eggrolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside; not greasy at all. Kids loved the chicken and broccoli. Can't wait to delve into the extensive menu at our new go-to Chinese Food place! read more

Recently had the crab Rangoon and veggie egg roll. Super yummy! I also order the Singapore Mai Fun, which was a bit dry and lacked traditional seasonings. I had to eat it with duck sauce. read more

Good Chinese can be hard to come by, but everything here is always hot, fresh, and delicious. We've been going since we moved here 2 years ago and never a bad experience. read more

Stale food. Never have I had any chinese food that tasted bad in my life, but their pork rolls smelled and tasted like they were dusty and not preserved well. I guess they sell left overs from many days.Honestly, needs to be reported asap to avoid any food poisoning incident. read more

Not impressed at all. How can rice be both under- and over-cooked at the same time? Not to mention the typical flush that comes with hidden Glutamic acids ("MSG"). Wonton soup had good flavor but the Hot & Sour soup was runny and vinegary. There are plenty of better places in the area at this point. Maybe they'll get better as time goes on, but I'm not sure how that's possible. read more

20 Minutes after having the chicken in garlic sauce I started to feel very bad.

Always like to try different chicken and beef dishes at Chinese restaurants. I won't eat seafood from any of them so my review is for soups, apps, and chicken and beef meals. Best flavors and quality in town. Place is new and clean. The cheese wonton app is so good, served with sweet and sour sauce and it is a tasty pair. Egg rolls are good, no different than any other joint. But the chicken and beef dishes are great. When ordered extra Spicy never seem to get it cooked that way though, always a mild heat. Homemade mustard is on point. Nice sinus flush when used to dip your egg rolls! Lol. My favorite Chinese spot now. read more

Moved to Stafford a year ago and after trying all the Asian cuisine in the area I can confirm that China Wok wins by a landslide, my runner up would be Asian Gourmet. They would have earned a five star if they delivered. It is worth the drive to pick it up. Great job China Wok you know how to make some delicious food read more

Very good classic American Chinese food, competitively priced and close to ocean acres. Fast service too.

The absolute best Chinese food in the area. Clean, fast, tasty and delicious. My go to always!

Very good food and super close to ocean acres. Wish they would deliver that's the only negative. We order once a week and it's always good fresh and hot . read more

As a New City Yorker, who has a home on LBI, this was excellent! The best dumplings I have ever had! Loved that the veggie dumplings were in the shape of a leaf! Also the best meat dumplings? read more

We have been coming here ever since it opened and it has usually been very good. Well, I don't know if they changed owners but we ordered from there last night and it was not good. At all..... First off, the "pork fried rice" that comes with the combo platters had neither pork nor vegetables in it. The egg rolls which are usually very plump and crispy seemed like they were not filled all the way and were cold and doughy. My husband's chicken chow mein came with very little chow mein and a heaping portion of clumpy white rice. Not sure if we will be back. read more

been here twice so far, when We're at the beach, the best Chinese take-out is The Great Wall in Vails Gate, N.Y., but the China Wok in Manahawkin is another 10 star place. everything we ordered was fresh and tasty and oddly enough, not greasy at all. Definitely a good place. read more

Not bad, but nothing special. The egg drop soup was very thin and pale and the chicken lo mein extremely greasy.

My new favorite place to get Chinese food, and it's so close to my house which is perfect.

My boyfriend and I tried this place on a whim because it is so close to home... It is our new favorite! The chicken and broccoli and shrimp lo mein was amazing! read more
