Visiting my parents, dad wanted to grab lunch. This place is pretty close to the house, so he wanted to just pick it up. I ordered steamed dumplings and pork fried rice. The dumplings were really good. They had a thick dumpling shell and the pork was delicious. They also came with a really good ginger sauce. The fried rice was ok. It was a bit dry. I mean I prefer that to a greasy mess, but even putting sauce on it didn't help. Also while the pork was abundant, I really didn't get much egg. I did like the peas though, not many places do that. Hit the spot for lunch, I don't think it's my go to place in the area though. read more

We're new to the area and needed a good chinese take out place to order from. After reading a bunch of reviews for different places we chose this one and so goad we did! The restaurant itself when i went to pick up our food was very clean and neat. The food was done fairly quick. My fiance got the chicken and broccoli combo and he loved it. I got the green jade vegetable with snow peas, green beans, broccoli, brown rice and the brown sauce from the healthy menu. It was delicious! Really surprised how well they make their General Tso Chicken. It's not all fried fluff. There's more chicken then the coating. And it's not overpowered with too strong of a salty flavor for their Chinese Chicken and vegetable. Good take out for the area. read more

Great locally owned Chinese take out place. Fast SUPER friendly service. Menu has everything you'd expect at very good prices. Steamed dumplings were fantastic! They do not skimp on the filling and the dipping sauce had a touch of heat. Crab Rangoon and the eggrolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside; not greasy at all. Not impressed at all. How can rice be both under- and over-cooked at the same time? Not to mention the typical flush that comes with hidden Glutamic acids ("MSG"). Wonton soup had good flavor but the Hot & Sour soup was runny and vinegary. There are plenty of better places in the area at this point. Always like to try different chicken and beef dishes at Chinese restaurants. I won't eat seafood from any of them so my review is for soups, apps, and chicken and beef meals. Best flavors and quality in town. Place is new and clean. The cheese wonton app is so good, served with sweet and sour sauce and it is a tasty pair. Egg rolls are good, no different than any other joint. But the chicken and beef dishes are great. When ordered extra Spicy never seem to get it cooked that way though, always a mild heat. Homemade mustard is on point. Nice sinus flush when used to dip your egg rolls! Lol. My favorite Chinese spot now. read more

Moved to Stafford a year ago and after trying all the Asian cuisine in the area I can confirm that China Wok wins by a landslide, my runner up would be Asian Gourmet. We have been coming here ever since it opened and it has usually been very good. Well, I don't know if they changed owners but we ordered from there last night and it was not good. At all..... First off, the "pork fried rice" that comes with the combo platters had neither pork nor vegetables in it. The egg rolls which are usually very plump and crispy seemed like they were not filled all the way and were cold and doughy. My husband's chicken chow mein came with very little chow mein and a heaping portion of clumpy white rice. Not sure if we will be back. read more
