I have to admit the quality of their food this evening was by far the worst yet. A simple order of cashiers chicken that looked and tasted as if it had set in the refrigerator for at least a day if not two. The breading was soggy the chicken tough and the sauce what little there was was soggy dark and bitter I gave it all to my dog and ate a frozen entree. So last time ever.

They put in fresh bean sprouts which adds that freshness and crunch. All we ordered was 1 order of beef fried rice, 1 order of chicken egg drop soup, and 2 sprites. Totaling a little over $20. An affordable meal for two, as we can split those two items and still have food leftover. So good sized portions as well. Golden Dragon has been a staple in the Ozark area ever since I was a kid. I was reminiscing that night sitting in the drive through, talking to my son about a time when I remembered when they were dine in and had a buffet! He had no idea that they were a full blown restaurant once upon a time. I say all of this as a prelude to once we got home and opened our order. We DIDN'T order any vegetable spring rolls, but they had thrown in a little bag of them just for us. This may have been a small gesture on their part, but it really made me smile and feel better from a day that was not so great. So THANK YOU to whomever there that threw in that sweet little surprise. Your food is good, but I think it's the small acts of kindness like this that keep such a loyal following to your establishment.

They always made sure that our drinks were filled and we had everything that we needed. My absolute favorite dish was the fried green beans with minced pork. Get it with extra minced pork and you'll love it. The steamed dumplings and pancake appetizer are also really good. Highly recommend! They also have clean restrooms with an extra large sink outside the restroom area so you can quickly wash your hands if you don't actually need to use the restroom. Pretty cool.
