Placed a order online and picked it up in person. The receipt and bag was missing part of the order. I informed them and showed them the receipt. Said they didn't get that part and shooed me out the door without out offering to make what I paid for or let me atleast get soy sauce, mustard for the food I did get. This place just keeps getting worse and worse with time. First the food quality dipped now the customer service is gone as well. It was just really bad. I've NEVER had a General Tso that I didn't want to eat. Pork dumplings too thick and doughy. The low Mein with roasted pork was ok and best thing we had. I'm sorry, I don't like writing a 1 Star review unless I got sick, insulted, or served raw chicken, BUT the food was just that unedible TO ME. Other family members were much more forgiving. Maybe an off day, maybe the reddish tso and sesame chicken(same sauce minus spice) is not made for my taste buds. I just couldn't enjoy it at all. General tsos bean curd was alright, tofu could have been a bit crisper. Vegetable fried rice was decent, on par with other restaurants. The biggest disappointment of the night was the vegetable chow mein which was more soup than noodles, in fact I dont think there were any noodles and just cabbage broccoli, sprouts etc. I've always known chow mein to be stir fried noodles so as you can imagine I was quite surprised when I received nothing of the sort and instead received a wet soupy mess. Just ordered online chicken wings tonight and sauteed string beans. They called me and said they don't have string beans. The lady offered me other vegetables but i said it's okay because i just want string beans. When i got there, the lady said, she's going to give me a small serving of string beans that is left in the kitchen i guess. When i got home, it was regular green beans. It was actually good. But for an asian like me, we know the difference between a green bean and a string bean. It was a good substitute but it is not the same if you crave for one thing and got a substitute for it. This is a middle of the road Americanized Cantonese style shop. Nice floor plan and fairly clean. Friendly owners and service. Decent food, if not exceptional. This may only be my nit to pick, but I have a small issue with being charged for a pot of hot water with 2 cheap teabags inside. Customarily, tea was a part of the meal provided gratis. Here, there is a cost. At lunch, if you want a special, you can have a free can of soda or cup of soup, but the tea cost extra. I don't quite understand the logic. The Beef Chow Fun was decent, but given the house rules on tea, I will find another place to satisfy my fat noodle cravings. A man has to stand for something! read more

I try to base my reviews on facts, not just opinion. With that said, below are some observations/experienes... 1) I ordered the General Tso's chicken (special combination platter) which was to come with pork fried rice. What I received was plain fried rice w/very small traces of carrots and scallions. 2) The online order system is NOT secure yet they request credit card information. This opens unsuspecting customers to cyber fraud. 3) I placed an order online with a charge of one price but once delivered, I was told something different. Note that I had spoken to a worker prior to delivery and was not told of an additional charge. 4) I was given 2 free sodas which was a plus. 5) They delivered the food in a timely manner and the driver was very nice. I consider the food ok if you are very hungry and need something to tied you over. read more

Some of the best take-out chinese in the area, if not the best. The only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is the ambiance in the restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. But the food's excellent. And the prices are good to begin with, but they give coupons with all of their menus that make them better. The sesame chicken is my favorite. Today was my first time visiting this establishment. I ordered the pepper steak and onions lunch special. It comes with either a drink, soup or egg roll. I opted for the drink. Most Chinese spots that I been to usually give you both an egg roll and a drink so that was weird. The steak itself was okay, but the rice was horrible. It was very hard. I'm not sure if it was stale or it wasn't cooked long enough. Either way it was difficult to eat it. Will I be back? Def not. read more

I've lived right around the corner for 2 years and have heard mediocre reviews about this place. Tonight, I decided to give it a try and pick up dinner... I got the pork lo mein and hot and sour soup. It was surprisingly super good, fresh ingredients and really nice people who work there. The Lo Mein wasn't chewy or greasy and the noodles were cooked just right. The hot and sour soup was alright...I liked how it wasn't thick and gooey but it could've been spicier. Been going here for several years. Idk what has happened to them, but they have drastically gone down hill. Haven't been for some time, so my family wanted to order from here. Took an hour and a half for our food to be delivered, food was cold, and tasted horrible. Next day husband and I ended up in the ED with food poisoning. We always believe in second chances. So we decided to eat in instead. Walked in and the place smelled like mildew, food was all over the floor from I'm assuming recent diners, and the woman taking care of customers was more concerned about sitting and talking with a family/friends. I've ordered delivery from here enough to notice a pattern. Every single time I order online, the total cost of my order, after the delivery fee and tax has been added, is never the cost on the receipt that I get to sign when my food is delivered. Every time, this restaurant will add anywhere from one to several dollars (sometimes as many as four) to my bill. I've started lowering my tip based on how many extra dollars they've added, but at this point I will no longer be ordering from them as I feel this is a pretty scummy business practice. The food is good, but I'm not very comfortable with giving my credit card information to a restaurant that lies about my bill to steal money. Scummy. read more

Have been going to this place for years, the staff is very friendly. They know my family and I by name and make us feel very at home. The food is 9/10 very good, like every other place they have a bad day but that is to be expected. The portions are fair for Both take out and the portions you receive in the restaurant. Rating this place solely on the "generic chinese" food. The food at this restaurant has a lot of flavor. Try out the dumpling soup to see what we mean. Generally speaking, this place makes tastier food than most Chinese joints in the area. Also recommend the chef's special pan fried noodles.
