The menu

It's a normal Chinese takeout place. The portions seem particularly large for the money. Mostly just reviewing to add the menu pictures.

Good, fast American-style Chinese food. Prices are good and I've paid much more for lesser food at fancier places.

I've been there twice and I will go again. Good American-style Chinese take out. Good prices and quantity. Surprisingly clean place and tasty food for being a small place in the hood. Heck, they were busy last time I was there and they forgot my lo mein, but I'll still gladly go back. Here's hoping they stick around for a while. A great "grab a few items and then go home and watch Game of Thrones while grubbing out" kind of take out joint.

Ate as much as I could cuz I was hungry but I can't finish it.

Very fresh and dash take out food. Exactly what you're looking for in the city. None of the frills necessary, just good cheap Chinese good.

We've sat at the bar a few times, but honestly, it's a great experience either way. As a vegan, I really appreciate the variety of options. The fried tofu has an excellent texture and is served with perfectly fluffy rice. I usually go for the vegetable spring rolls-crispy and paired with a fantastic dipping sauce-and the sweet and sour tofu, which is always a standout. My husband typically orders the sesame chicken and is always pleased. Service is consistently quick and enjoyable. While prices are a bit on the higher side (around $20+ per entrée), the quality, flavor, and convenience, especially before a game, make it well worth it. If you're up for a short walk and want a delicious pregame meal, this is a great spot to check out!

Overall, menu is not super authentic for Chinese food and is what I would consider an American fusion menu. Cheeseburger eggrolls were my fav and I will note that I wish there was like a veggie component in it. There was just meat which is not awful but would help with the well roundedness of the dish.

Now, that might still start a war if you have to share, but they are all for me. And despite how much I love them, even I can't eat that many at once. Which means enough leftover for the next day. They also have Coke products. I wish they had Dr. Pepper but at least it's not a Pepsi-house. I also like their packaging, they use the old school take-out cartons for the fried rice, a recyclable box for other things, and the rangoons come in a wax bag. So I don't have to feel like a jerk having to throw away a ton of styrofoam containers. I really like their pork fried rice. The chicken low mein is good, lots of nice pieces of chicken but almost no veggies and sometimes the noodles are a little overcooked. But it's all very consistent and reliable which is important. Easy offering and delivery via GrubHub, UberEats, etc.

The building's striking fire-engine-red brick exterior offers a fitting hint of the bold experience waiting beyond the doors. It's a very small, intimate restaurant, with a cozy feel that makes the space feel personal rather than sprawling. I was pleased to see that it welcomes families, including children--hold the wasabi. Service You may have to wait a minute for a table, but if you're in a rush, there's always the option of pulling up a barstool and dining at the bar. It was the best decision we've made that day, I got the burned miso ramen, my husband the Major Tom Khatsu and we both lived them! Very flavorful broth, and chewy noodles. The staff was very friendly and helpful considering it was our first time. The only wish I had is that their bao was without dairy, so it could be vegan too. We'll be back for more!
