This place hasn't stopped operation since COVID began, but their operation could use some work. We called ahead and placed an order for pick up. The worker said that it would be 20 mins, so we arrived 25 mins later (to give some extra time). When we arrived, it was packed and there were people waiting outside (there isn't much standing room inside and people weren't socially distancing themselves inside). When we finally got up to the cash register, they asked us what we ordered and were yelling at us to yell our order to them through the protective plastic they have up everywhere. Basically, there's no point in calling ahead because we had to wait for our food and you pretty much place your order when you arrive. Not very organized. The time it took from placing the order to receiving it, took about 1 hour (35 mins of that was at the establishment). As for the food, it was delicious! My crab ragoons were cold when I got them, but I was so hungry that I didn't care. The general tsos was a great portion and tasted great! I might try this place again during lunch time when it may not be as busy.

Left: General Tso tofu. Right: shrimp lo mein. Both would definitely order again. 5/15/20

Just came here for the first time today bc our favorite hole in the wall Chinese food spot is closed now due to COVID. Not many places offer General Tso tofu but this one does... We were so pleased!! Portions are hefty. The shrimp egg roll was massive. They're doing a great job with social distancing, and gave me hand sanitizer after I signed my carry out receipt. We'll definitely be ordering here again.

a takeout container with rice and curry

This item is chicken egg foo young. The food was hot and very filling. The location was close by location. The staff was friendly and finally the cost was super reasonable.

5 stars for the food and service, but the 7 year old running the register threw me off a bit.

Stick with chicken dishes, don't try to be fancy and get to know who's making your food as the owner is there 24/7and will look out if you build a relationship. I'm a fan of the bourbon chicken, the fried rice is pretty good in comparison to the competition. I'm always in the area, let me know if you need some pro tips when ordering lol

I had a rarely large order. They do not provide plates or cutlery. The store front is not sanitary. Old restaurant with dirty and broken windows with pan handlers hanging out in front. The parking lot is behind the restaurant without a paved entrance. You can't park on Woodward, so you risk tearing up your car driving through the alley and significantly deep potholes holes to park and pick up your order. It's in the new center area, so I was really DISAPPOINTED. I stopped eating Chinese food a long time ago because of the lack of service and connections to the communities they serve. My mother wanted shrimp fried rice, so I thought I would take a chance. Don't EAT here u less you don't have a choice.

We've sat at the bar a few times, but honestly, it's a great experience either way. As a vegan, I really appreciate the variety of options. The fried tofu has an excellent texture and is served with perfectly fluffy rice. I usually go for the vegetable spring rolls-crispy and paired with a fantastic dipping sauce-and the sweet and sour tofu, which is always a standout. My husband typically orders the sesame chicken and is always pleased. Service is consistently quick and enjoyable. While prices are a bit on the higher side (around $20+ per entrée), the quality, flavor, and convenience, especially before a game, make it well worth it. If you're up for a short walk and want a delicious pregame meal, this is a great spot to check out!

Overall, menu is not super authentic for Chinese food and is what I would consider an American fusion menu. Cheeseburger eggrolls were my fav and I will note that I wish there was like a veggie component in it. There was just meat which is not awful but would help with the well roundedness of the dish.

Now, that might still start a war if you have to share, but they are all for me. And despite how much I love them, even I can't eat that many at once. Which means enough leftover for the next day. They also have Coke products. I wish they had Dr. Pepper but at least it's not a Pepsi-house. I also like their packaging, they use the old school take-out cartons for the fried rice, a recyclable box for other things, and the rangoons come in a wax bag. So I don't have to feel like a jerk having to throw away a ton of styrofoam containers. I really like their pork fried rice. The chicken low mein is good, lots of nice pieces of chicken but almost no veggies and sometimes the noodles are a little overcooked. But it's all very consistent and reliable which is important.
