First off the BBQ SPARE ribs are deep fried for reheating opposed to how they should be done under the salamander. But what really pulled on my last nerve was I ordered the happy family which I've had many times before here a great dish. Lobster, shrimp, chicken, beef and pork with Chinese vegetables. $19 and change with tax ( that's not my complaint I get this economy). Ok no lobster they use Langston lobster which is crawfish not lobster and imitation crab meat which has never been in this dish. Called after about 10 minutes said dive back for refund( explained it's a 30 minute round trip in this rural area asked him to look up my number that's on file to verify that I've been a good loyal customer. Wouldn't do anything else, said ok so you'll loose a very good customer exact words that's okay. Very shady representing things that are not what is being paid for

The sweet and sour chicken had thick, juicy pieces of chicken with a light batter, so it tasted like much more meat than breading. The sauce was also very good. The Tiger Cry steak was tender and well seasoned. We chose a milder spice level because we were a little timid, but next time we would probably turn it up a notch. They are very generous with the peppers and vegetables, so be prepared--you definitely have to enjoy your veggies! My only suggestion would be to include a little more rice with the entrées to better balance the generous portions of meat, sauce, and peppers. Otherwise, I recommend ordering an extra side of rice. Service was sweet kind and attentive. Nice place for a daytime date or even to eat alone. Clean place and spacious seating. Overall, everything was fresh, tender, and flavorful. We enjoyed our food and would definitely return.

Someone called me back just to verify the order and to advise where they were located...nice touch. When I got there, there were lots of people there waiting to get food. When I got to the counter, my food was ready so I paid and left. We took our food back to the hotel. I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures..sigh. The food looked really good. I ordered a combination platter of shrimp lo mein, and an egg roll. My husband got an order of combination foo young and we also got a free order of sesame chicken. The shrimp lo mein was really good and had lots of shrimp in it and had a good portion of noodles. The sesame chicken was cooked well and tasted good as well...nothing special...just the regular sesame chicken. The egg foo young was bland and didn't have much flavor but was edible. Overall this was your average Chinese takeout restaurant experience, nothing special.
