Every time we eat from China Wok, we are always impressed! Protein is always high quality and vegetables are always fresh and crisp. We often request our dishes be made spicy, and they always come through. Flavors of all dishes are always balanced and really delicious. We are never disappointed! He decided to give Xing Xing Kitchen a chance and is thrilled with their General Tso's Chicken. It's not too sweet and has a bit of a heat kick the way it should - the sauce has actual hot peppers in it. He's got a pretty gruff disposition and hurries through any sort of discussion or question about their food. I asked if the hot and sour soup was made with chicken broth or vegetable broth. After a moment he said that it was made only with water. Yes, he said water. Bizarrely, we locked eyes and, after I asked again...he said it's only water. So, I ordered a large one. Well, when we came back to pick up the order, the lady saw us and asked us what we ordered. After hearing our order, she informed us that the soup is made with pork and chicken broth. Quickly she apologized, whisked the bag away and said they will prepare it with only vegetable stuff for us. That, my culinary critics, is just beautiful.
